I have insured with Aim for 5 years its been cost effective. The only problem is with the form signing and returns. You have to be very careful to get the correct ones as they are not named boldly. Clear block titles are vital.

My first conversation with you convinced me that I had a firm offer priced at £330 for annual cover of buildings and contents. A week later, you contacted me again, asked the same questions and then advised me that it was up to the underwriters to judge whether my application was acceptable. The result was that it would cost me about £100 more than the earlier price. So my criticism is that I received an early, convincing, but false, indication of the result. I would prefer you to have been more 'up-front' regarding the status of the initial conversation.

simple basic policy you need to make sure you have a scanner to return the documents they need in a week. If not remember you have to find an internet cafe or have a printer. I am dashing out tomorrow to get them printed and In the mail

The service is ok but I get put of by repeated calls day after day when you send an estimate I do not like to be rushed I would contact you when I am ready.

I was quoted an incorrect excess on my car policy, so when it came down to it you where not the best price but I had left it too late to make any further arrangement

Too much repeated questions And very expensive if u sell the house I have to pay 65 pounds cancellation fee and was only told that because I asked the question

I have to say that I was not aware you were brokers and, whereas communication was satisfactory I was somewhat taken aback when your representative Danielle told me to “wait until I have finished” when I was querying a couple of points including why only three of our valued items appearing to be covered on policy.

Find it a bit frustrating to be sent a renewal notice cost that is 35% higher than previous year. Pointed this out to Kate, only to be sent another a few days later and just before expiry of current insurance, that is significantly lower than the first renewal figure. Eventually receiving a competitive figure is fine for all concerned but don't treat your customers as fools thinking that they will accept any increase you propose. Why not stop wasting your time and effort and do your homework first before sending out renewals as I doubt AXA are new to the market in the last couple of weeks, so this price should have been available the first time a renewal cost was sent. That being said,Kate was very diligent at following up and very personable.

I haven't got a problem with the policy, I have got a problem with the constant reminders including a letter and constant phone calls. I want to pay my subscription close to the renewal date not a month before!

Firstly, thank you for taking the time and posting your review. To ensure we protect all of our customers and their interests, we do send the initial renewal notice followed by a chaser letter and calls to prevent any cover expiring without a client being aware. However, we are aware everybody is different and although some may appreciate the reminders others do not feel it necessary, therefore, we have already put notes on your record for renewal next year to ensure that you are only contacted as per your request below. Very polite on the phone when I called with a change of details and said they would call back to make a note of the changes. Still waiting for the callback unfortunately. My worry is that should i make a claim they could refuse to honour it as I haven't made them aware of the changes.
