I have had this laptop for a year and a 1/2. For a year and a 1/2 it has been basically a piece of junk that doesn't work. It has crashed in the middle of simple videos and last time in the middle of a meeting with my client. I have made probably 50 phone calls, had people out to my house, have been made promises that have not been kept, and I still cannot use my computer because it blue screens of death every time it's turned on now. I bought the ProSupport with my Vostro. I am not exactly getting ProSupport. Promises to call me back are not kept, and the promise to look into an exchange has never been followed through. WTF has happened to Dell?? Such incompetence. Such uncaring attitude toward the consumer.

Dealing with Dell's customer service is the worst experience ever. I ordered an Alienware laptop with a couple of accessories; credit card problems, hard time communicating in english, denied orders, hours on the phone with customer service, at least ten calls, couldn't get my Dell reward points, ... stress, stress, stress. I will spare all the details. NEVER order from Dell!

They are a horrible company. The sales reps only care about their quotas and the customer service people constantly lie to you. I will never purchase anything from them again and I will make sure to tell everyone that I know not to purchase from them.

I'm done with Dell. They are the most incompetent company that I've ever dealt with. I tried to buy one of their sale items that was in ad. Nine people later, no one knew what was going on and why I couldn't get the sale price. And, worst yet, no one cared and would help. I'm glad business is so good that they don't need mine. Too many other companies around. Dell makes it obvious why so many people shop at Amazon.

Dell products performs very poorly quality is not the same and I wish I had read many of these unsatisfying review before purchasing their Computer Docking station. I will not be purchasing any more of Dell products and recommend others to read some of these reviews before purchasing. When calling their Customer Service and Technical Support team very unprofessional and not knowledgeable. When you ask to speak to a Manager you are placed on hold for long periods of time, then they come back to the call and say they will be transferring you to a Manager and disconnect the call. Unacceptable and Unprofessional!

I wouldn't buy another one. I've had my Inspiron 7415 2-in-1 for less than a year. I've had to call IT 3 times now. Twice because it won't power on at all and once because it kept locking up. Each time I call it's a minimum of 5 hours with on the phone with someone who can hardly speak English. Next time I'll pay up for the Mac Book. This is unacceptable.

Worst company ever! I have been in IT for nearly 4 decades and have seen fair share of bad products, but this top the list. On top of this their customer care (which does not exist) is the pit of all. Stay away and buy Lenovo it seems to be a better product.

WORST COMPANY, WILL NEVER BUY FROM AGAIN I'VE BEEN EMAILING, CALLING, DEALING WITH "DELL'S CUSTOMER SUPPORT TEAM" FOR 2 MONTHS, TO GET A MONITOR MOUNT FOR THEIR MONITOR, THAT THEY FOR WHATEVER STUPID REASON, DO NOT SELL OR ADVERTISE ANYWHERE.. I KEEP GETTING THE SAME EMAIL "WILL UPDATE YOU WHEN WE FIND THE PART" I STILL CAN'T MOUNT MY MONITOR, ALMOST 3 MONTHS AFTER BUYING IT. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS GARBAGE COMPANY

Do not buy a Dell computer. You WILL pay the price. I bought my XPS 9510 just over a year ago. When it is working, I love it. Unfortunately, that does not happen all of the time. I leave the computer plugged in nightly and use it most of the day without the ability to plug it in. It should have about 5-7 hours on battery time. The problem is numerous times I cannot start it. It responds as if it has a dead battery. When I return home and plug it in, it starts right up and usually has 100% battery power left but always at least 70%. I have replaced the battery and even replace the computer but the problem remains. When I contact support they are very quick to respond and attempt to address the problem but after 2 hours of updates on everything, the problem returns in a matter of weeks. Last time I went through this I told them this will be the last time and they said the warranty will continue after the expiration date if this problem persists. Now I call them and stated that the problem is back and I want them to buy back this unreliable computer and their response was that it was out of warranty and can't do it. Horrible customer service. I would never buy or recommend a product from Dell ever again.

Would put 0 stars if I could. If your laptop has any sort of problem, expect dell to do absolutely nothing about it, even if you pay for their expensive warranty. The technicians sound like they are reading a script off and have absolutely zero problem solving skills. This should totally not be allowed, and this company has probably the most useless service I have ever seen.

I am a loyal Dell customer and all my laptops used to be from Dell until the moment, I had at least 5 laptops bought from my account. My last experience was awful! And from there I wouldn’t buy any Dell products at all and I don’t recommend any to do so! Customer support is below the zero! I wonder how could a valued company such Dell has this customer support system! Since I bought my Alienware Dell early January 2022 it wasn’t running well until around end of May 2022 I started to get an error msg when I turned it on at bios stating fan failure! I contacted the support, they told me to blow air on the fan at it might be dirty and try to run it and see how it goes, I tried that and it didn’t work! Contacted them back and then they sent me an exe file to update the bios! And it is a mechanical failure! I did that and it didn’t work. I am a busy person work in a hospital and have to check my things at home so that was all happening when I am in need to use my heavy duty laptop and sadly I can’t! I contacted the support for the third time and they told me they are going to request a fan and it would take time since everything is on back orders and they will schedule a technician to come and fix it. I waited around another week until I got the confirmation that the technician is coming on that specific day and if I can’t it would be rescheduled. I took a PTO from my work as I don’t want to be late in getting it fixed and I am in need to use it! The time frame was 1 pm to 5 pm, so I was waiting since morning until 5:30 pm and no body called or showed up! I checked my email and there was nothing for this regard as well! I sent an sms to the technician to check what’s going on! He called me and said that he is busy and can’t come! I told him, don’t you have a schedule with me? He answered that he will come in the next morning! I explained to him that I can’t as I work I. A hospital and it is very challenging to take off days, he laughed and said that he doesn’t care where I work at, and he got my part, so it is either I reschedule or no one else would be able to come as the part will remain with him! “I was shocked by his attitude and reported it”! I forget to mention that I had bought Dell live support along to my Alienware where this repair should be covered. The support was contacted again and they told me that they are going to send me a box with a FedEX return label, so I can send them the laptop and they will repair it and return it back. At this point I was really tired from all that and did this as a last revolution option and was hoping that my problem will be solved… So after like 5 days of shipping it, I got a call from a technician and he stayed that the motherboard is damaged and they can’t cover it and I have to pay $370 plus tax and if not they won’t be able to fix the fan and it will be returned! I was at my work and got shocked and nervous that after all that I am getting this answer!!! I asked him to speak with a supervisor and he kept repeating the same thing he told me like if he has it written down! After a week, another technician called me and mentioned the same thing! He offered a discount this time! I told him I am not supposed to cover anything and it is not my fault! The laptop didn’t fall and I didn’t open it to have any motherboard damage! I even have my office room where no body enter it. And I am a very light user to have an Alienware laptop have a motherboard damage in its very early months of usage! I asked this technician to escalate it to a supervisor as I am a loyal Dell customer and it is not my fault! A supervisor called me and nothing changed! He escalated it to a sale manager and nothing happened l, it is like they are in the same room and they all have the same words! They don’t care about Dell, Dell loyal customers, and they blame the used for any system failure! Even the manager told me that your body might get sick or die without a reason, a Dell Alienware laptop could have this as well even without any specific reason! I swear that he told me that! And the only options he offered, either to pay or your laptop will be returned as is un-repaired. I told him that this would be my last product I get from Dell and I wouldn’t recommend Dell again, he didn’t care for all that! My call was with the Dell manager on August 9th 2022 at 4:35 pm EST I have all the names and records. I wouldn’t recommend Dell at all, customer service and satisfaction come 1st! P.S: all my laptops/desktops and products I bought from Dell were brand new, not used, and it is the 1st time in life and had to ask for a survive from Dell! Technicians, the supervisor and the manager were all aware about how I suffered and no one cared or offered anything to satisfy me! This is an experience with Dell USA

Around September 15, 2021 I bought a Dell Inspiron 7506 2in1 laptop online directly from Dell. I received it around Sept 21 2021. The very next day the copper tabs on the Dell active pen that came with it popped off. I contacted Customer care in India and they asked me to send it back and they will send a new replacement in a week's time. I did that. I got my pen around the end of May 2022, it was not even the same pen that originally came with the laptop. The customer care told me that they have stopped manufacturing that pen as it was old!!?? How's that for a week? Then around June 15, 2022 the motherboard of this brand new laptop that was used seven times only since being bought conked out!! Contacted Customer care being under warranty a tech was sent onsite to my home he brought another motherboard. Installed it and went away saying all is well. But all was not well, I started getting blue screens with various error messages. Contacted customer care again in india. They did some trouble shooting over the phone I was up till 3am in the morning with them and after couple of days they said that contact the software department we have corrected the hardware issues, it's software issue; but same errors were still there. The software people said that they were a third party and will require a payment of CDN$120 plus tax!! But this is not a software issue!! I told them it doesn't seem so. But they wouldn't listen. I got my Windows reinstalled still the same errors. The error messages that I am getting are pfn_list_corrupt; irql_not_or_less_or_equal; page_fault_in_nonpaged_area; system_service_exception; memory_management; system_thread_exception_not_handled. I told the customer care that these do not seem like software errors these are hardware/motherboard errors for I am now certain that the motherboard they sent as replacement for me was not new but refurbished, and may have had some ram issues. The tech who came to instal the motherboard at my place did not know what may have been wrong with that replacement motherboard. Since june 21, 2022 todate July 1, 2022 the customer care whenever I contact them they say that there is nothing wrong with the hardware or motherboard, it's a software issue. I asked them that I need to talk with some senior person in Dell USA or Canada, they said a manager will call in 48 business hours. I wonder how many hours are gone now since June 26, 2022. Please, please tell me what these errors apply to then? Are they not hardware related? I told them that as the system is under warranty so I want them to either send me a brand new error free same laptop or refund my money as this laptop cost me over CDN$1700. They said not happening even though this is Dell Manufacturing flaw. So I ask those in the management in USA and Canada why is that? Who do I turn to for redressal of my grievance? Whatever number I try to contact Dell on it connects to india customer care. I even changed the system from Windows 10 to Windows 11 and it still is giving same errors infact now the system even hangs up. It does not even accept my pin at times to logon. Videos stop in the middle. Will someone please look into this for me before the manufacturer warranty runs out in september 2022. I am so sorry that I opted for Dell. Where do I go to air my grievance?

I have used Dell since it was founded. My recent purchases will be my last. The INSPIRON laptop became defective immediately. the desk top was missing components. Then came the bad part, what is whimsically called "customer service." A good rule of thumb any company that offshores customer service has, at best, 15 years. That's roughly when Dell did so. My only advise is to ditch any stock in Dell and never buy its products. It is circling the drain. Just horrible.

I use my computer until it isn't really able to keep up and then the new one I purchase is set up so it has as much current technology as I can afford to keep it running for a long time. Generally I can get ten years or so out of one. The last one was a Lenovo, and after they were able to get the printer consistently working (it took about a year) it ran fine. It still runs fine now, but since it has Win 7 I cannot use it on the internet due to support ending so this time I went with a Dell XP8930 desktop. All decked out it was just under $3,000 and should have lasted a very long time, but right away it would freeze up, crash, and then mess up the boot drive. Using my smart phone to get online I figured out how to get the boot order corrected. Tech service was very polite, but was not able to fix the problem. Then one day I was in front of the computer when it happened, turns out that their bloatware called SupportAssist was causing the problem during it's scan. Twice now tech support has "disabled" that program but it continues to do this. They tell me it cannot be uninstalled so now I am to wipe the computer back to factory settings and then have to replace everything (data is backed up online, but it takes days to download it back plus reinstalling everything else that has been added in the 1-1/2 years I have had it). And since the computer did this from day one, there is no guarantee that it still won't do it after the reset. I have way too many hours wasted on the phone with tech support as they fumbled around trying to run into the problem. The tech support people were very polite, but the bottom line is that so far the computer has not been fixed. Sure am glad I got the extended warranty. Run away from this manufacturer as fast as you can. If I could afford to throw this away I would do so in a heartbeat.

Never again a Dell, the computer had software issues from the get go, but didn't need it that much because was working from home using my work laptop, when I realized the performance was really bad three months after the purchase they say the warranty on software is only 30 days and asked for $100 dollars to take a look. The product they sold me was fraud, the computer just does not work as it should, avoid them

If I could award zero stars - I would. I spent ages choosing a laptop - certain key features required (but the only way to find out if they are included is to go into the detailed specification of each laptop). Then, as I need it as soon as is practical - my choice was swayed by the shipping date (3-5 days obviously being preferable to 25-30 days). For what I want - the website suggests I want the extended battery option - except it's impossible to order that on the website. So I endured the most hopeless automated defence system and phoned in - and I get a quote - with a 3-4 week delivery time. Their website leaves out (probably deliberately - they hope people won't actually notice the ridiculously long actual delivery time when they order) what is probably by far the most important information when it comes to when you'll get your laptop. Then the excuses start - that's how long shipping from the US or China takes - which I suppose it would if they were employing Chinese people on bicycles to deliver them personally. Also the 3-5 business days it takes to even ship is based on the level of customisation (such as the larger battery) I wanted. Except that turns out to be a lie, because if I decide to skip that to get faster shipping - it will still take 3-5 business days to get someone to pick the box off the shelf and ship it. Useless. Utterly useless.

Was hung up on 4 times today with Dell costumer service. By 4 different reps.. 90 minutes on hold and having to re-explain myself everytime.. It's like every Indian accent speaking person refused to give me a supervisor, hung up on me or literally would just sit there in silence.. Unbelievable.. There's no accountability.. They all refused to give me an employee id number or last name.. How do i file a complaint with a first name of shumo only. Really, what a joke.. And that's really the name i was given on the first person.. Shumo.. Nice America name. And fyi, I'm an active corporate customer of Dell too.. Dell's customer service is complete garbage with no accountability or supervisors.. I will never buy Dell Again.. Not for me or any of my businesses.. I'll spend more else where if necessary.. At least I'll get a supervisor on the first call, if requested. Good Riddens..

Bought an optiplex and monitor for my business. After a week I learned from my IT guy I didn't need it so called Dell to return, which is within the one month window. Of course when you purchase from Dell you will speak with American customer service. If you return you must speak with someone in India....a truly despicable way to do business in my opinion. They sent a call tag to pick up which did happen but 17 business days later still no refund. Called India again and the guy put me on endless hold never to return. I finally had to have my credit card customer service agent put the money back on my card. Had they promptly refunded my money and had American customer service I would have probably bought from Dell again. Now I will NEVER buy from Dell again!! I advise everyone to do same as have since learned they are known for this scammy behavior.
