I purchased the top spec Dell XPS 13 in November 2025, and it's has been really slow to use and crashes frequently. The microphone and sound are extremely poor quality, making the system difficult to use in meetings. The mouse pad is unresponsive and there are no lines to indicate where it is, so one cannot actually see where to right click. It's basically useless without an external mouse. This is a case of ascetic design over usability. It's extremely over-priced. I decided to take a hit with the $2000 I spent on this junk, and purchased from another company (less than one year after this Dell purchase), which was the ASUS Zenbook 14, which has a much better build, works like lightning, with a beautiful keyboard and build. On another note, Dell customer service is appalling. They do not care about their customers and are extremely unreliable. Do NOT send them any computer for repair, they will destroy it and will not compensate for the damage they cause. After my third Dell XPS 13, and multiple accessories, over a 10-year period, at the cost of easily over 10K+ including an expensive monitor, I will not be using Dell again in my lifetime.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience ordering from Dell. I placed an order on 05/30/2026 for a Canon imagePROGRAF printer for my business. After already experiencing delays, I was delivered a completely incorrect freight shipment — an entire pallet of unrelated computer equipment. The shipment was so inaccurate that I had to refuse delivery on the spot. This is not a minor mistake — this is a full breakdown in order fulfillment. This is especially frustrating because I have had previous issues with Dell, including receiving incorrect equipment in November. Due to these ongoing problems, I was forced to outsource work this weekend, resulting in additional costs and disruption to my business. I am currently waiting for a resolution, but based on my experience, I cannot recommend Dell for time-sensitive or business-critical purchases. I expect immediate correction of this issue, including expedited delivery of the correct product. Going forward, I will only order from Swing Design!! This is my third order in a row from Dell that I had an issue with.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIFIC CUSTOMER SERVICE. DISGUSTING!!!! Bought a new computer 40 days ago. The computer restarts on it's own daily and shuts down regularly. I have gone through all their troubleshooting steps and still does not work properly. They refuse to exchange or refund! Now I know why people only buy Apple products! Customer service is all in India as well, and very difficult to understand them. ANOTHER TECH COMPANY THAT DOES NOT RESPECT THEIR CUSTOMERS TIME AND TAKES ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY WHEN THEY SHOULD!!

It is a nightmare : we bought a battery for my son's laptop and it was May 16, 2026 and on check out it showed the delivery is 28th of May. On the 22nd of May we got an email that the parcel is booked with UPS and we were very happy for that. Today is the 1st of June and the battery is not delivered, there is no tracking, UPS denies having the parcel, no customer care phone number to call, no support...totally we are cut off. Imagine Dell can not deliver a battery, SHAME ON THEM! I chatted with them claiming that I have business then I talked to someone in India and gave me a secret phone number to call : no one should know about this number specially customers who paid them!!!!! The lady I spoke with said she will update me in 24-48 hrs and now 72 hrs and nothing. It is a shameful company. If you are in urgent need, have nerves to burn with anger, money to waste, and above all a desire to be neglected, then you are in the right place to do business : it is Dell. No more Dell Computers

This review is a cautionary message for anyone thinking about purchasing a DELL Alienware 18 Area 51 laptop computer. My computer is fairly new and with very minimal use the key board letter D Broke and after putting in a request for a repair Dell is stating the issue was caused by "accident" and is not a covered repair. The key breakage occurred during regular use. It appears to me that the key board is not a good quality. Now that DELL refuses to fix the Alienware 18 laptop computer without paying a fee for service, I will need to fix it myself. I believe the key board is defective and DELL is no longer a good company to do business with and does not really stand behind its products. I have been a customer of Dell for years but this is no longer the same company that stands behind their products, so sad!

I am incredibly disappointed with the design of the Dell PN556W Active Pen. While the pen itself writes fine when it works, changing the batteries is an absolute nightmare and a safety hazard. To power the Bluetooth features, you have to unscrew a tiny, deeply recessed internal black plastic sleeve to insert two microscopic 319 coin-cell batteries. The tolerances are so tight that the internal mechanism frequently jams and becomes completely stuck. It requires so much force to untwist that I actually injured myself and bled trying to open it.Designing a consumer electronic device that requires this much specialized effort and physical strain just to change standard batteries is unacceptable. Dell needs to completely rework this mechanism to make it user-friendly. Save yourself the frustration and potential injury—look for a stylus with a simpler charging or battery mechanism.

Dell sold me a computer which does not have enough GB for the OS, it took 1 year, now I have 24GB free space and the computer runs badly. I have moved everything to the F drive, all that is left is what I can't move, there is nothing left to do. It is possibly it is because of the updates which are automatic, windows 11 does not allow someone to change this. A computer should have enough GB in the OS to allow for updates.

An ongoing warranty issue never resolved - Dell failed to resolve it multiple times and eventually have resorted now to just ignoring us. Phone calls disconnected, formal complaints ignored, they are just hoping it will go away ad the laptop they sold remains defective since purchase. Luckily it's fairly easy to initiate small claims court matters though we are instructing solicitors as the victim here is vulnerable and Dell has entirely ignored the Equality Act to add to its glowing repertoire of utter failures. But it should not have to get to that. Do NOT under any circumstances buy from Dell. If you run into issues, you are left on your own.

I’m officially done with Dell. I don't care how good their hardware is; the post-purchase experience is a total nightmare. If you’re considering buying from them, be warned: their departments don't talk to each other, and they will run you in circles until you give up. The "Buying" Nightmare: It started when I tried to buy a PC. My orders were canceled multiple times for no apparent reason. When I reached out to find out why, nobody—and I mean nobody—could give me a straight answer. I was bounced from one department to another like a ping-pong ball. The "Subscription" Trap: Now, I’m trying to cancel my Microsoft 365 automatic renewal. Here is the kicker: Missing Features: The option to stop auto-renewal is nowhere to be found on the Dell website. It feels like a dark pattern designed to keep charging you. Incompetent Support: When I emailed CS, they ignored my request and kept demanding a phone number to call me. I don’t want a call; I want a cancellation. The "We Don't Know You" Card: After providing my Customer ID and Sales Order ID, they suddenly claim they "can't find my account." How is it possible to issue an invoice to a customer that "doesn't exist" in your system? Bottom Line: Dell has multiple teams handling different things, but they clearly don't communicate. It’s a disorganized mess. I’m not wasting another second or dollar on a company that treats its customers like a nuisance once they have your money. Avoid Dell if you value your time and sanity.

Dell Warranty Declined – vertical line fault on three month old Dell UltraSharp 40" U4025QW monitor (Australia, Australian Consumer Law) Hello Dell Community, I am seeking advice and visibility on an unresolved warranty issue with a Dell UltraSharp 40" monitor purchased by our family in Australia in December 2025. After only light, careful use (checked on arrival, then used sparingly until the recent start of the university term), the monitor has developed a persistent vertical line on the panel. There has been no impact, mishandling, or misuse. To me this appears consistent with an internal panel or connection fault rather than external “physical damage”. I have uploaded the photo in ChatGpt and the analysis was that 'it looks much more like internal panel failure, which is typically covered under warranty' since, on my monitor, there is no evidence of: - cracked glass (often with branching fracture lines) - impact point (a visible “hit” spot) - liquid ingress marks - pressure damage (black blobs spreading from a point). ChatGpt indicated that the pattern is much more consistent with: 1. Panel (LCD) failure Internal layers of the display fail Causes vertical colored lines or bands Can happen without any external force 2. Driver/T-CON failure The circuitry controlling columns of pixels malfunctions Produces clean vertical artifacts like this 3. Ribbon cable issue (internal) Loose or failing connection inside the panel Again → vertical striping Dell support and the legal team have reviewed my photos but have classified this as physical damage and declined both warranty coverage and sending a technician to explore for physical damage. I have explained that under Australian Consumer Law, goods must be of acceptable quality and free from defects that appear within a reasonable time, and that a premium monitor developing this kind of fault within a few months of light use does not meet that standard. At this stage, I am preparing to escalate to Consumer Affairs Victoria and, if necessary, VCAT, but I wanted to document the situation here and ask: Has anyone had a similar issue with vertical lines on an UltraSharp panel being initially labelled “physical damage” but later accepted as a manufacturing fault? Is there a Dell escalation path via this community (e.g. Dell-Cares reps) that can arrange a more detailed technical review of the panel and the photos? I appreciate any guidance from community members or Dell representatives who may be able to assist in resolving this fairly.

Never buy anything from Dell. They are scammers. I bought a laptop online and it was delivered after 2 months of continuous struggle and multiple phone calls. The laptop was not working and the packaging was horrible. I returned it. It's been 3 months since I returned and did not get my money back. I'm never this stressful in my life calling them back and forth. Avoid this scammers at all cost!

I purchased a Dell Vostro 3520 laptop. After about 2 years, 5 of the characters on my keyboard have started to wear off and the light is coming through from below. I am aware that the original warranty has expired, but this should have never happened. I have owned Apple computers, an HP, a Toshiba and Lenovos and this has never happened before. I just recently learned that my niece had the same problem with her Dell laptop. The basic problem that I have is that this computer was manufactured with a faulty keyboard. I contacted the company, but this issue has not been resolved.

DO NOT GET THE DELL CREDIT CARD! predatory practices, 6 month no interest is only good if you buy the 1 purchase... purchase anything else and you payments get "allocated" to all purchases, not paying off your special financed item 1st... then hitting you with that 6 month interest

Customer assistance appears to being run by AI robots. My computer is 3 months old and the 1 USB port will not connect (devices tried work fine on another laptop). I gave them all the information for my laptop, and they asked me how many USB ports it had and where they were located, so obviously they can't even look up my model. I have now received 3 emails on separate days asking if resolved and each time I reply "no" and no further contact for 24 hours. I have owned Dell computers for over 30 years but never again especially after seeing some of the other reviews.

I've bought an Alienware AW610M gaming mouse to my partner as birthday gift. It started playing up just a few month after I bought it, tried to contact Dell support but it was unpossible, I did give up after trying for hours. The cursor kept jumping up and down while scrolling ,we have tried all youtube videos, nothing helped so gave up, used it like that as it was quite expensive just to buy new one after half a year of use. Now 2 years literally just passed and mouse is unusable, huge disappointment. Techical support is non existent. When tried to message them theirvreply was " We’re glad to see that our Technical Support team has assisted you and replaced the part to resolve the issue." WHAT THE HELL??? When I saw this got so mad. They haven't replaced anything what a lie!! Huge disappointment never again.

I have a 20 years old business and all my computers were bought from Dell. I did a mistake on my last order for a couple of computers that were off the shelves next day delivery. Because we are on a business account Dell will not accept a return even if we were buying the replacement from them. Even worse is that customer Care is so bad in their responses, I am not sure they even read or know how to read the requests! I will not be using Dell again and regret beeing so loyal to a company that is now all about profits.
