“I think it depends on how big your order is depending on how long it takes and whether it is in stock, I had an experience a few months ago where I ordered 2 small items with express delivery which should have came within a few days however when 3 weeks had past I was getting annoyed as I had contacted the dealer on many occasions but no replies, 1 month after ordering I got a email saying they were no longer selling one of the items so I just phoned up and cancelled it. However this wasn't gonna put me down as I purchased a richbrook gear know from the same company and it came within 3 days, exactly what I had ordered and in good condition too so was happy, so I would say if you're ordering a smaller single item they're good but any bigger orders I wouldn't suggest them.”
“Advertise items that aren't in stock. Don't advise when there will be a delay, instead they just leave you waiting. Most recently they kept my card details from a phone order and put another £10 on my card without asking.”
“I've had a set of soft Kumho tyres on order since August 2018 (it's now almost end May 2019) . Paid deposit. They were due in 50 days. Nothing heard. I enquired and yhey were now due in another 5 weeks. Nothing heard. Then 17 days. They have now failed to answer my enquiry regarding delivery for 3 emails in a row. Obviously 4 tyres to them is too small an order for such a big company to bother about but it doesn't excuse the gross discourtesy of not re[lyin.”
“DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE !
We arrived as a family at 4.30 pm as we were travelling from Manchester and the traffic was heavier than usual, we telephoned ahead to confirm they were open until 5pm. We knew what items we wanted as we had looked on the website and our 14 year old son just wanted to try on the suit. Upon arrival there was no welcome or acknowledgment from any staff member, so we made our way over to the karting section and found the suit he wanted, The first interaction we had was from a grey haired individual ( I cant say gentleman as he most certainly wasn't ! ) who informed us that the shop would be closing in 20 minutes so we needed to hurry up, fair enough, so I asked for his help and he informed us he couldn't help us as he worked in the bike section and walked off. I then went to the counter to ask if anyone was available to help us, the same guy told us everyone was busy. I went back over to my family only for the lights to be turned off in the karting section where we were stood !. The same guy then approached again and told us again and told us we need to hurry up, at no point did anyone try to assist us.
I had £350 to spend that day and all it would have taken was 5 minutes to go and get the item we wanted, instead the emphasis was getting us out of the shop !
We left the shop at 4.50 pm and asked another member of staff "is this how you treat all customers?" to which he replied, "to be honest if I turned up at Halfords 25 minutes before closing,,, implying it was our fault even though the trading hours are 9 to 5 pm. In response , If I turned up at Halfords at 4.30 pm , I would expect the same level of service as I would at 9am !.
It was our first visit to this place and our last.
What is the point in posting content on social media almost everyday and proclaiming the excellent customer support on your website when this is the service you receive when you attend ?
As a fellow business owner, I hope this feedback finds its way to someone who actually cares about the profile and reputation of the business , as our expectations were high but the staff members really alienated us as future customers.

I ordered a gear indicator for a 2014 Triumph Tiger Sport from their website.
I entered the year and model of the bike and the webpage said in big bold letters “This part fits your current vehicle:
Triumph Tiger Sport 1050 2014” unfortunately after receiving and fitting this part it turns out that it was not the correct part and was in fact for a much earlier Triumph Tiger that did not have ABS.
When I contacted Demon Tweeks and pointed out that their webpage was wrong, their answer was to check the webpage and point out that in much less noticeable print than the “This part fits your current vehicle:
Triumph Tiger Sport 1050 2014” it said “Non-ABS Models”. I then pointed out that Triumph did not make a Tiger Sport without ABS and that their website directed me to this product.
Their answer was “ this is your problem, not ours”
It seems that they will cling to any excuse rather than provide good customer service - there are plenty more bike accessories retailers around.”
