“Super quality product. Really helpful sales person who took my order for an item that was bespoke style and leather to match another item I had previously purchased. Highly recommended. Only thing that could have improved my experience this time was for the accounts team to have updated the driver that I had already actually made payment in full the day prior to delivery. It was embarrassing to my friend who took delivery of my wonderful chair to think that I had not paid and the driver not wishing to drop off my chair without demanding payment.”

“I have emailed customer services three times now regarding the non delivery of their leather cleaning kit. Promised delivery but just did not happen. Last 2 emails just ignored. Not impressed. Extremely poor after sales service. Taken my money but they have not fulfilled their order obligations. I will not use or recommend them in the future. Let down. Following this review seen above the company made contact and sent me the missing item (in fact sent me two) within 48 hours. Many thanks”

“Nice sofa designs bought a leather suite but leather is very thin but saying that i looked at a lot of sofas from eg sofologey dfs scs ect and there all the same now paper thin leather not made to last any more”

“Ordering was easy online, nice chair which was delivered on time. However I wish I had got a swatch before ordering, as it looked grey in the picture but is more beige. There was a small chip in one of the back legs, which I covered with a pen! Very comfortable chair.”

“The leather of the sofa was good but the beading was a strip of shiny gold that did not look high quality. However your excellent customer services person Kim Gentry was quick to sort things out and we are now delighted with the individual dark beading. And Kim even refunded our delivery charge without me asking.”

“The leather and the workmanship on the Italian sofas I bought are excellent. I had to buy slightly smaller sofasthan the ones I wanted because they come in one piece and the ones I wanted wouldn’t fit through normal height doors (many sofas these days are designed so the backs or arms remove to ease delivery and these don’t). The ones I ended up with are lovely but smaller than I would have liked and as a result are a bit less comfortable”

“The order was completed within the specified period and the chair appears to be of very good quality although I have only had it a few months so time will tell. It is very comfortable and elegant looking and great value for the price I paid and is the centre of attention in the room, standing out like a beacon. Everyone who sees it mentions how lovely it looks and how 'expensive' it also looks, being very classy. I would recommend these people but I do have one complaint. The material on the chair I ordered was not the one I ordered, (I ordered cheetah)but because I did not want to wait another 6 weeks for the correct one to be delivered I accepted the one they delivered. However, it does look stunning in my room being a Zebra pattern and my room of an African style, just hoping it doesn't get dirty on a regular basis being a fair amount of white in the pattern It would have been nice if they had offered some sort of compensation for the error, but they didn't. All in all though, really pleased.”

“Looks beautiful, good quality leather.product, However, the mattress could be better, also there is no protection for the seat cushions from the support springs when in closed position, we are using a blanket which detracts from the looks slightly. Ours came without a fire regulation ticket sewn into the structure, this has been supplied but how do I now fix this in? Trying to donate our old one was impossible without this sewn in.”

“Pleased generally with my purchase of an arm chair, if there was one thing to say it was there were a couple of small chips of wood that had come off the rear feet, but I have painted over them and I didn’t bother to complain. It’s not noticeable unless you look especially.”

“We ordered over the telephone, the lady was very polite and helpful, also sending us samples so we could choose the colours. We decided to go to the shop and glad we did, the set up is very good and plenty of choice, in fact we changed one of the chair sizes which was not a problem. The delivery was the day and time they told us, the 2 delivery men was professional and took care with getting our chairs into the house. Yes I would recommend Designer Sofas and already have done.”

“Ordered chesterfield sofa and 2 chairs. Lead time was longer than indicated on website but once made, delivery was fast and efficient. The furniture is good value for the price, and really comfy!”

“Great Sofas, Delivery guys not that good. They could not get the sofas into my living room. Told me I need to remove my double glazing ( front windows). When I got home me and my wife got the sofa into the living room without taking out my double glazing windows.”

“We ordered a 3 seater Chesterfield Sofa in Modena Aubergine. We already had a 3 seater sofa in the same shade from an alternative company (from years ago). The sofa arrived and we instantly realised it was the wrong shade of purple; turns out Designer Sofas 4U have 2 shaded of Modena Aubergine?! We refused delivery and spoke to customer services. A replacement in the correct shade was sent and in most respects we are now very happy with the sofa. We have one complaint. The website states that the sofa is hand studded which it clearly isn't. You can clearly see that the studs are connected in a chain and glued in place. We expected hand studded to be individual studs pushed into the arms (not glued).”

“We are delighted with the sofa. When it arrived in boxes we were told we would have to assemble it ourselves. We were not aware of this when we bought it. We gave your driver's a tip and they did help somewhat. That is why it's a 4 star and not 5”
