I bought Xiaomi 12T Pro and Its Promotions Didn't Come I bought a Xiaomi 12T Pro by paying 800€ from DID Electrical's website, it was written on their website that they will give a tablet(Xiaomi) and a 100€ loaded card/check as a gift if you buy the phone. I bought the phone on the date this campaign was valid, but they only sent the phone. The tablet and the €100 gift card were a lie. They deceive the consumer, they sell products with false promises that they don't provide and promotions that they do not give. I have screenshots as a proof. I feel scammed, charlatanism is not an effective business model. I won't buy anything from these liars, never again. THEY RIP ME OFF. Don't let them rip you off too, don't buy anything from them. They will send your order incomplete, they will not fulfill the campaigns and promotions they promised, they will not give your gifts and they will act as if nothing has happened.

I bought electric hub with recycling fee included. The delivery guy, refused to take the old appliance, i called the company and left the msg, someone got back to me, and eventually told me i had to pay 29.99 euros, i told her why? I explained the situation n she said she would speak to her supervisor and get back to me. That was yesterday. I woke up this morning with DID msg that they will be here today 18.11.2022 between 9am and 12pm it's now 12.46pm and i am still waiting. No call or text to inform me what's going on, no apologies. Worst way to treat their customers. I have called back to them and i was td maybe the driver is stuck in traffick no excuse whatsoever for this behavior. I now have to leave the house as i had other plans for today. Never again DID,!!!!

I order oven for delivery on saturday and my daughter with ASD expecting the oven cause she want to bake the next day,i ring did finglas on friday to make it sure i will get my oven delivered but they forget to load the oven friday in the van,they its a human error,thats fine and they said it would be deliver today tuesday between 12 to 3pm and no show up of delivery,the guy rang me 4:05pm and i am late to collect my daughter😔kudos to the guy who delivered the oven,he is so nice and friendly

On October 13’ 2022 I bought APPLE 13" MACBOOK PRO 8-CORE CPU, 512GB SSD SPACE GREY. I attach a copy of my receipt for your information. I am writing to you because I was promised that I would get the laptop by Saturday October 15’ 2022. However when I checked on Saturday your staff mentioned that my laptop was wrongly delivered to a different store and later when I offered to collect it from that store they mentioned that it is not dispatched from the warehouse and that I would have to wait till Tuesday, October 18’ 2022. Hence I asked the team to ship the laptop to my residence and paid the shipping charges. On Tuesday I get a notification from DPD that the shipping request was raised on Tuesday itself and when I rang them DPD mentioned, they only received the shipping data and not the actual package. We then called DID Terryland store and they were clueless about the order and said the package was already shipped, we had to inform them that DPD did not receive the actual package. DID personnel mentioned that they will investigate and get back to us but no one called us until Wednesday, October 19’ 2022, they called us gave the DPD tracking number which we already had and we were promised that we will get the laptop the next day as they had escalated the situation and stated that the laptop was in transit to DPD and hence the same was not visible on tracking. We offered to wait for an additional day. Since we had no information on the laptop, and the tracking status on DPD showed nothing different the next day, we went to the store (on Thursday 20 October’ 2022) met the store manager (Adeel Ansari) and he promised he will get back to us with an update, when we called the next day i.e. on Friday 21 October 2022, the store member stated that they had no information on the order and they will ask the store manager to ring us back when he in tomorrow (as he was unavailable on Friday- this he had mentioned while our discussion) Today is Saturday, 22 Oct. 22 and we still have no update on our order, the store assistant promised me a call back from the Manager first thing in the morning but I haven’t received one till this time (noon 01:40 pm) We are paying for a laptop which we have not received yet and its been more than a week and we have no one ready to take ownership and the service that we received by far was the worst and is absolutely unacceptable. We had to ring DID, DPD multiple times to get an update. And not to mention the mental and emotional trauma and frustration.

NEVER AGAIN. I ordered and paid for a Bosch intergrated Fridge/Freezer on 1/8/22 in DID in Airside.I stated specifically what I wanted, and the Salesman appeared to understand what I ordered...4 day's later A Whirlpool Sliding Hinge was delivered..I phoned DID but got no reply, so I called to the Shop and explained what happened..got no apology whatsoever .I met a different Saleman this time , and got another wrong delivery a full week later, couldn't believe it.I called to DID again today ,and a different Salesman informed me tha Whirlpool don't do intergrated Fridge/ Freezers ..then told me that Bosch intergrated Fridge/ Freezer wasn't in stock and when it would be available..never once did I get an Apology...I went to Curry's next door and got sorted in no time...Certainly will NEVER do Business there again...Mary Mc Donald

Bought a new TV from DID a month ago when it stopped working. Phone calls to customer service are not returned and email response while initially quick (3 hours) became very slow (12+) to respond and push the same mantra which apparently involves DID asking the MANUFACTURER to send 'engineers' to assess. A week later and nothing. Nowhere near good enough. A device that new should be returned and replaced without quibble by the retailer you buy from. Seems trying to support Irish businesses leaves you worse off in the end. Don't believe the 50 years in business outstanding customer service reputation nonsense. That USED to be the case. Not any more. Paper won't refuse ink. They won't tell you the hardship involved trying to get your basic consumer rights. Only spend your hard earned cash with those companies with DECENT customer service even if they have Crocodile Dundee doing their adverts.

Worst company i have ever had to deal with. Thought i was buying new iphone online from D.I.D. Electrical 2 and a half weeks ago. When it came through the post, it wasn't new buy refurbished. I then went on to their website and seen this in the small writing, only when the details were expanded. I plugged it in and when fully charged started using it. I noticed the battery was going down quickly. About 1 percentage every 20 seconds. The fully charged battery was gone flat within about 40 minutes. I rang them up 2 weeks ago, explained everything and was told i would get a ring back soon. Never did. Rang again about a week and a half ago. The girl was all apologies. She sent an email to her boss and then sent me an email explaining this and she would be in contact soon. 7 days later i emailed her asking for an update. Received no reply. I rang again today. The same girl answered. I asked about the situation. She told me she had talked to her boss and that I would have to bring it into a store so that they can fix it. I asked her why she had not communicated this to me before now. She said she was sorry about any inconvenience and she was off sick a few days. I told her the phone is a faulty phone and I would want a full refund as is allowed under law. I have bought a different phone already instead. She told me she couldn't do that and that she will see what she can do for me and needs to chat to a boss. I said when will I expect to hear back. She said before 6pm today which was about 8 hours later. I didn't receive the reply before 6. Please do not buy from this company.

5 members of sales staff on a Monday morning in April and after 15 minutes we had to go and look for one to assist us. We were buying an ex display tv, the girl could not find the stand for it so we asked for a reduction in the price of a wall bracket, she declined and was prepared to lose the sale but after showing her the price of replacement legs on Amazon she agreed to €25 off. Two lads then attempted to lift the tv off the wall, unsuccessfully. All in all, we had been in the store over an hour and decided to give them our number for them to call when it’s down and ready. A day has passed and still no phone call! Yes it was ex display and reduced but it was still a €500 sale. Very bad customer service, it was like everything was too much effort

Very poor customer service across all of their services. I sent 11 emails and only got 2 replies.i had to ring customer service in the end and was told that my order was delivered but I didnt receive it. I rang again and was told that they messed up the order and it went to a different country. They told me that a manager in Lucan branch would contact me that day but I had to ring him instead the next day. Apparently he wasn't asked too contact me but somehow he had some knowledge of my order. I was then told that there was none of the item left in stock and there wasn't nothing that can be done. I refused the refund and demand my order. I was promised a replacement but I still haven't got my order after nearly three months. They were blaming each other and using the lame excuse of COVID.

I rarely write reviews but in this case I'll make an exception. I purchased an electric kettle from D.I.D. which developed a fault. I visited my local D.I.D. store in Kilkenny to return it for a replacement. The sales assistant checked his records and informed me that there was no record of the purchase and asked if I had a receipt. I stated that I for the most part I had always dealt with the store for various products and never had a problem previously. I informed him that I did not retain a receipt as it was my understanding that each purchase would be logged on their system as a matter of course and that there would be no requirement for retention of a receipt. He informed me that the store was too busy to do this unless the value of the product was 100 Euro plus. On questioning this he became noticeably irritated and after a while agreed to a replacement informing me that he did not have to do so. I found his attitude unacceptable and informed him that I would be raising it with D.I.D. central. Prior to my departing one customer came up behind me and he said now you see what I mean by being busy which I think speaks for itself. The customer at D.I.D. is obviously secondary to the store being too busy!! so I 'll have to review my purchasing patronage in future when it comes to D.I.D. and they may find themselves one customer short in future and I'll be happy to pass the knowledge of that on to my friends. Absolutely shocking service from DID Terryland Galway Waiting on a voucher by way of a refund for a faulty washing machine since September 2021. Been told so many times to call to store to collect the voucher from the manager as they can’t seem to issue the voucher by email. when I arrive there the manager is either on break, in a meeting or went home early? Absolute ridiculous have been given the run around by theses guys so many times, I will call you back or call later, same story every time ‘or there must be some mix up, we will get that sorted for you and we will call you later’ Oh sorry the manager, who is the only guy who can issue the voucher is on holidays, call back in two weeks? They haven’t a clue. Never again will I buy from this store

Terrible service!! Ordered something in November and told would be delivered before Christmas. I received a despatch email to say item with courier and to wait 7-10 days. When this time passed I contacted DID Electrical as no tracking information provided only to be told (very rudely) that the item is out of stock? It was never actually despatched despite receiving confirmation emails. To make matter worse the same thing has happened for a second time after waiting again 2 months!! Still no apology or explanation other than an automated response to email to say its out of stock and will be with me soon. Can't get through to anyone on the phone despite waiting upto 40 minutes at a time and the online chat facility is just as bad. Won't be using them again

Bought a printer of your store in blanch when I dis cover it's broken I return it got the run around in the shop brought explained my rights via consumer affairs yet your staff insisted on me breaking that contract by ringing Epsom then spoke to like s child only to find the staff didn't even know how to run said d equipment

Awful shocking despicable company!!! DO NOT PURCHASE. Online store is a scam. Charged in November for earbuds that are still not here. They have ignored all calls and emails. I left a review on trust pilot 2 weeks ago and got an email in respose to say they were dispatched and would be here in 2 to 3 days, still no sign! All I want now is a refund so I can purchase from a real shop. They need to be closed down as they are scamming people and I will be contacting consumer rights. It is THEFT!!

Extremely bad service, ordered washing machine online on 7th December, supposed to be delivered within 3 -5 days. Cancelled order on 17th as couldn't be without washing machine any longer. It's now 7th January and I'm still waiting for refund

Ordered a TV online over a month ago now. Literally no sign of it. Asked for an explanation but told it was on it's way. Supposed to be a Christmas present. Appalling service. Will order from foreign shops from now on. You know the ones? They actually deliver what you order. If DiD want to remain in business, simple things like delivering the product on time will work. Useless
