My money was taken for an order. I emailed last week to make sure the item was in stock, I went onto webchat yesterday to confirm item was in stock in warehouse. Today, 22 December I've arrived at the warehouse and my item is not in stock. This is a disaster 3 days before Christmas, really bad service. Its not the first time I've heard of this happening either, happened to my sister recently

Bought and paid for a freezer in store, over a week ago in tullamore. Was told it would be ready for collection during the week. Gave it a few days, checked..no not in..try Friday...nope . Saturday..nope...go in this morning..yes it's ready for collection...great. I go to get another car to take it , arrive back..eh...no that's not here. No won't be before Xmas. Check for another...no none Something similar..no none. How come it reads 10 in stock? ... maybe over sold!! What an absolute joke. A number of other customers in store looking for stuff they ordered over a month ago ..still no show. And others looking for refunds for orders not fulfilled. And you try to give local stores the business....what's the point

Disgraceful company. Ordered and paid 2 weeks ago. Checked Monday to make sure everything was good and was told I’d have my order in 5-7 days only to receive a call after 5 this evening to say we won’t have it. Do you want to wait or want your money back. Little help to me when it’s a Christmas present for my young child.. snotty customer service.. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE VERY DISAPPOINTED. god knows when I’ll have the money back to try struggle to get a replacement present by Christmas

Paid online for 2 drones on 4/12 which I was advised were in stock. Received nothing. Phoned Mountjoy Sq. shop yesterday as all emails were ignored. Was told today by the guy in Mountjoy Square that they don’t have them and won’t have them. These were my children’s Christmas presents. This matter must be resolved immediately along with all the other unfortunates on this embarrassing thread for the Houlihans. You have enough information detailed in this message to find this transaction and remedy. My children should not go without while fancy extensions are being built. I again ask you kindly fix your mess by 12pm tomorrow, please. Thank you

Bought a washing tat broke not even 6 mths after. Took 4 days off work for replacement delivery dates that was no shows. The week before Christmas and I've no washing machine. Been waiting 5 weeks for a machine that never shows. I'd give 0 stars if I could. Awful customer service when I rang the shop. DiD do not care about their customers. Would not recommend this shop. Terrible experience.

One star is too much! Terrible for communicating with their customer; I've been waiting a month for a tv to arrive for collection. I have received emails saying it is on its way and another saying it is ready for collection and when you get to the store there's nothing there! Call customer service and there's no answer, messaged them on Facebook - nothing! Very bad service - will not order again!

Bought a Chromebook for my daughter so she could draw digital art. We don't have much, I ordered and paid for an "instock" item over a month ago. I opened a support ticket online but DID support closed it!! No Chromebook, no more money, and nothing to hand her for Christmas! Disgraceful service, complete lies about stock. I don't want to drive up to Dublin because of covid, but I have little choice!

Be careful ordering online from these. Ordered husbands watch using click and collect on Nov 30th. Nothing for the next 2 weeks got in contact via email was told they were waiting for stock and that it would be quicker to have it delivered by courier. At this stage I'm worried it wouldn't be there before Xmas. Asked the girl why it said it was in stock for click and collect online if it wasn't. No answer to that gem of a question! Got told it would be out for delivery Monday gone and I'd be sent a tracking number. Its now Wednesday. No watch, no tracking number and I'm waiting listening to that awful music on hold for the past hour.. Watch probably won't be even here by Christmas. Awful service to say the least!

I order a gas hob when I was buying a toaster and told I could collect next-day.I have been down 3days in a row to be told by a very rude manager that I had to pay first which no one informed me.I cancelled it and will go elsewhere.Also the girl serving me was slopping chewing gum in my face .I manage a retail outlet and would not tolerate this behaviour.I and my grown up family were loyal DID customers for many years.

Impossible to get through to been on the phone for 40 mins and been hung up on so I called back once again I gave up waiting after 45 mins as there was a possibility of being hung up on again. I have been waiting on my fridge and oven for weeks now and I cannot get through to them . Absolutely terrible customer service

Wrote a review awhile back and Wayne got in touch to ask what the problem was. I explained and he apologised and offered me ten percent off my next purchase. So I decided to buy a tv for my husband for xmas. Got it delivered to my neighbour to keep it a surprise. She stayed in Wednesday all day but alas no delivery so I rang wednesday evening and was told ohh dear must be because of storm Barra so I said fine no problem. Was told it would probably be delivered between 9am and 12. Email came wed night saying it would be arriving Friday so my lovely neighbour waited in again. Rang DID head office waited one hour got cut off rang again and got through after 40 min wait. Was told logistics could not be contacted but I would hear soon. Waited 2 hours rang again waited 40 mins got through explained again about no delivery......was told Wayne would ring but he didn't so rang an hour later and was told by a lovely girl that she would email said Wayne and he should ring me in a few minutes. Alas again no call back at now 16.40. So my friend rang Blanchardstown only to be told my tv was NOT EVEN ON THE LORRY. So thats two days wasted and no phone call from head office who have my money since monday. Disappointed is an understatement but that is lesson learned.

DON'T buy online from DID shocking service..any other store that does click and collect let's you see what's ready for collection but DID doesn't they just take your money, now it's impossible for them to answer phones or email. Will be shopping elsewhere in future.

I ordered a fridge, washer and dryer and dishwasher. Lovely man Christy came installed the washer but couldn't install the dishwasher, apparently to fit the two of them next to each other we needed extension pipes. He took back the dishwasher. Okay, no problem, the man explained to me what to buy and I bought it. Ordered dishwasher with installation again. Order arrived with two men and there is an obstacle again. The fittings were wrong and I asked them to take it back, the Irish guy was extremely rude and arrogant, continuing to make an argument why he wouldn't take it back. I asked him to let his manager know that the dishwasher wasn't installed as was done last time and the refund processed quickly, but he replied with "its none of my responsibility".

If there were no stars DID would get it. Bought a faulty washing machine, it took weeks for DID to say they would sort it and three months later still no response or solution found just false promises. Orla from DID promised a solution finally one month ago after I publicly made a bad review and I’m still waiting a month later. I will never buy from DID again and it looks like it will have to sort it in the small claims court. Appalling service. No other words can describe this company.

Dreadful customer service. I ordered a TV but changed my mind and rang to cancel the next morning, was assured order was cancelled and that account wouldn't be debited. Three days later courier arrives with it, I rang again and was told order would be cancelled (obviously wasn't done already), courier returned TV. Two days later DID debited my account. can't get through on phone, have tried emailing, no response.

They sold me a dishwasher that they did not have in stock and could not obtain. A few days later when they realised their mistake-they promised a comparable product at the same price. When that item was not delivered on the promised date, at least 4 phone calls each with 15 minutes of on hold time were made only to find out that the newly purchased item was not in stock. Each phone call was met with confusion and a promised call back. Not one call back was received.No one seemed to know what was going on necessitating more time on hold.
