Total Fraud! TheTelephone number disactivated, no way to get in touch. The reservation number is no longer recognized since it was days ago, so the online form is not accepted. Keep away!!!

Awful company. AVOID using them. You are better off using the ferry website directly so you have more control over your booking should you need to book a seat, food, or change or cancel your reservation. We learned this the hard way and it cost us over 600 euros!!! What a SCAM.

They provided incorrect information and when I told them this meant I would have to cancel, they made it extremely difficult to do so and the cancellation fee kept increasing with each attempt I made. You should give an option for zero stars as that would be the only acceptable option in this case.

This is scam. We have done a ferry booking from Singapore to bintan and we had to cancel the booking due to visa issue. However, Direct ferries refused to do the refund stating that local operator refuse the refund. However, we checked this with local operator to know that direct ferry actually didn't make a cancelation request from local operator. And direct ferry didn't respond when we inquire about this. They don't have a contact number and we always receive an automatic reply for all the queries we made

Unfortunately, I had a very negative experience with this company. There is no real way to contact them in a timely manner causing major issues during travel. On two separate bookings with this company I was notified (and then not notified) of multiple departure time changes with no way to contact the company for the correct time. In once instance I arrived at port several hours too early and in another I missed the ferry completely, even though I arrived 1 hour early as instructed by Direct Ferries, and was forced to purchase new tickets on site from a third party. After an infuriating amount of time spent navigating their website and finally finding a way to contact them I received an automatic response that my reference number was invalid and my ticket was closed.

Direct Ferries is the worst company anyone can travel with, , I purchase 2 tickets from Sorrento to to Capri on line and when we got to the pier their tickets were not honored, they told us that we needed some kind of tickets that were never sent to us. at the pier in Sorrento going to Capri, we Had to buy new tickets. On that day I wrote them an email explaining what was happening to no avail, they never answered. I have written several emails and there’s no answer on their behalf, I requested and demanded a refund and nothing. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE THEY WILL ROBBED YOU.

I agree with everyone here!!! I picked an afternoon sailing for my fiancé. Her departure time was 4:30am and her arrival time was at 1:30am. Had they said that there were no afternoon sailings for the day I booked I would’ve picked an alternate day.

BEWARE!! the slightest mistake and there is no return, no way to quickly get in touch. You might end up forced to buy another ticket at a high price with no way to get any compensation. Their app and web sites can be very confusing presenting false informations, P&O and Irish confirmed they have no way to contact them in case of error.

Terrible service. Don't give refund when ferries are cancelled. Ignore emails. Book with the ferry company direct.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. After weeks of attempting to amend a return Caen/Portsmouth booking and paying an exorbitant amount to do this, they took the money but did not let Brittany Ferries of the new booking. We arrived late at the port late at night to be told that we did not having a booking. Brittany Ferries squeezed us on but we were forced to spend in the night on seats, having lost our cabin reservation. Over a month later, we are STILL fighting for our reimbursement. It is impossible to phone or email Direct Ferries - you are forced to communicate via their website and each request is freshly created and closed by them, taking more than a week to prompt a reply. It has been an absolute nightmare.

Don't get scammed! I booked a ferry on their website after Googling "Ferry, Liverpool to Dublin". I live in the US and foolishly assumed that the listings were for that routing! Not until I got to the Stena Line terminal in Liverpool was I told that my ticket was from Holyhead, Wales - NOT Liverpool! The Stena agent was kind enough to book me on the Liverpool-Belfast trip at no additional cost, but the trip was 8 hours instead of the 3.5 I'd expected- and I had additional costs to get from the ferry terminal to the train station to take the train to Dublin and then another taxi to my hotel! Additionally, the refused to refund the ride that I booked through them from the Dublin terminal - a total EXTRA cost of about $200! And, when I requested a refund, I was basically called a "dumb American!"

This company is a scam. I booked a ticket with “cancellation coverage”. Upon receiving the tickets, I realized there was no indication of where the ferry port is on the ticket or anywhere on the website. I cancelled the ticket (given it has coverage) and they only reimbursed me part of my money. This company is a scam. I doubt the tickets I bought were even real. DO NOT USE.

I bought 2 trips from Dover to Calais and back for £143, but unfortunately got the dates wrong and had to change them. The site allowed to do the amendement and charged me £35 extra. Later I received an email stating "Unfortunately your booking cannot be amended", after being charged for this. I wrote over 5 or 6 messages on different days, since there is no phone number or customer service available, and a week later still never got any reply. The email only states that I have to pay more to get new dates, after which I will most likely get charged again and end up with the same message stating "Unfortunately your booking cannot be amended". My trip day is coming and I lost in total almost £200, was charged twice and I still don't have any trip and no refund or any contact. This is the worst company ever, and a scam. Avoid this company and just but the trips directly to the ferries or you will lose all your money and getting nothing in return, and you won't even be able to communicate with them.

The website works until you need to ask for support. From that point on you are in trouble. In my case, I had to change my return ticket to an open one. They told me that they did it, but in the system it appeared that I had travelled (so I couldn't manage my booking any more). Every time I am contacting the support I have to wait 3-5 days for a reply and the reply doesn't solve the problem. For the time being I am not in a hurry, but I already feel that they will keep dragging on and in the end, I will have to buy a new return ticket...

Direct Ferries downgraded our cabin, didn't tell us, didn't offer refund. After complaining they agreed a £53 refund by email. They never made the refund. Now their customer support are simply evasive and I can get nowhere. I never received the refund. Avoid using Direct Ferries like the plague, they add no value and evade their responsibilities. Instead book direct with the ferry operator, so much more professional.

No proper customer support, cancelation fee without prior notice The ticket for my trip to Catalina Island has been purchased from directferries.com. When I contacted a local company who worked with direct ferries, I have been told that I could cancel my ticket free of charge 24 hours before my trip. The ticket I purchased from direct ferries was canceled one month prior to the trip. Only 57$ was refunded for the 78$ ticket. The customer service number is unavailable. I won't do business with them again.

Whilst during covid, I was able to move my booking, on the return leg, my cabin which I had paid a premium, was removed. I have emailed 3 times and not a single response. There is no customer service when it comes to refunds.
