Paid for custom fit and because of this ended up with 2 x 9 Irons and no pitching wedge. Had to wait until other person contacted with same problem to bring a resolution to the issue. Not that impressed really.

Where do I begin?! Went to Direct Golf as id seen the TaylorMade Sldr Irons advertised in a magazine and all over the front page of their website. The Teeside store is nearest to me so went there to try the demonstration iron. The chalkboard in store showed the irons as being on sale also. After a rather dull welcoming i was told they probably could not get these irons and they would only come in 4-pw rather than 3-pw that I wanted. The less than interest sales assistant said he would have to fire a few emails off. So i left the store and I knew by the disinterest i would not be getting a response so i decided to ring the head office who informed me they had 7 sets of the irons I wanted!! After another call to the Teeside store they were still disinterested so I ordered the clubs online and were supposed to come on Saturday. Direct golf quote in their email they use Dpd couriers when in fact they use Parcel Force so i did not get my clubs on the Saturday after paying £9.99 to do so. After another call to head office i was informed of the courier change and my £9.99 would be refunded. Fair enough. I believe Direct Golf are the only place you can still buy the SLdr irons so I had to stick with them however this is the first and last time il be purchasing anything from this shop. If it wasnt for me calling head office they would not of had a sale...oh and the head office number is an 0800 number so i was charged another £6 for the phone calls! Anyway rant over, im off to enjoy my new irons...happy golfing!!

I ordered a golf bag - which the advert said came with a free umbrella. Then got an email saying the item ordered was out of stock & discontinued. Rang for a refund....to then be told it was the umbrella that was out of stock! The bag was then dispatched and is fine, but the experience was less than great. ps - still waiting for the umbrella!

I have no complaints regarding the time taken for delivery. Item ordered on the evening of 12 May and received on the afternoon of 15 May. But you didn't deliver the item I ordered. My order was for a DGUK Battery Connector. You sent a FWY Battery Connector. Looking at the illustration of the DGUK Connector I thought it would connect to my battery terminal points that are 6 inches apart. That is why I ordered it. The FWY Connection points are 3 1/8 inches apart. I will be returning the FWY Battery Connector.

Although the service I received from DirectGolf was first class, easy to use online ordering , goods ordered and received on time as advertised. I had ordered a John Lettters golf travel bag for a trip to Spain. When I received it , everything looked OK and ideal for a full set of clubs and a lightweight carry bag. On reaching the airport and placing the bag on the baggage escalator the cover ripped at the top (lighter part of the bag) where the carrying handle is stitched to the cover. This bag has not been designed in a strong enough fashion to carry a full set of clubs.

Sent wrong items twice even after contacting customer service department after initial deliver. When re contacted again to explained sent wrong item again after also putting letter in the bag with return did not really seem bothered and no real attempt to resolve or find alternative. Not great customer service would not recommend or consider in the future.

The product and delivery were spot on. When I tried to return the goods to the shop In edinburgh I was disappointed with the lack of stock for exchange and the staff attitude to try and help me. Further, when I read the returns policy I wasted a trip because they could NOT give me my money back as suggested in the policy, rather misleading, I now have to contact the store by phone and pay further postage to return said item then wait for my money to be refunded, rather shabby. I have bought a few items from this online store and never had a problem, unhappy now.

Recent experience was pretty disappointing having brought from DG many times previously. I ordered a pair of shoes, price was too good to miss. I received two emails in quick succession, one confirming the order and that the item had been dispatched followed almost immediately by another advising of a refund being made with no explanation. I called DG and established the shoes were no longer available and that the refund email should have explained this clearly. The Agent I spoke to confirmed the issues and offered to provide alternative goods to the value of an extra £15 on top of the cost of the shoes chosen. This was appreciated and the right thing to do but it here was nothing else I liked in that price range. Disappointing that in this day and age out of stock or unavailable items are not flagged up and that the second email offered no explanation as to the issue. So on this occasion, poor I'm afraid. PS I ended up getting the shoes elsewhere.

I ordered a golf bag with delivery time specified within one week. Money was withdrawn from my credit car within 12 hours!!!! I heard nothing from the company, so after 8 days I phoned the company. They apologized and the excuse given was that they bags had not arrived from the supplier, but they were expected within the next few days. Nothing arrived from Direct Golf for 7 days, neither did they bother to contact me. I phoned again, more apologies - same excuse. In the end they did provide me with a more expensive golf bag for the original price I paid, but the price difference turned out to be minimal as other discount golf suppliers were offering the same bag for a lot less than Direct Golf. Aldo the Ping golf bag has problems with the lining were the clubs are inserted. I just can't be bothered to go through the hastle of returning the bag - BAD EXPERIENCE.

I reserved to collect a 56 degree LH wedge offline to the Huddersfield Leeds Road store. I received a text the next day saying the item had been dispatched and would received a phone call in the next 48 hours to let me know its arrived. It has now been a month and had no contact from Leeds road saying it has arrived. Needless to say I have gone elsewhere to buy a wedge. On the opposite end of the scale however, I also have recently visited the Stadium Range store, where I received quite the opposite service. We were dealt by a young guy called Ash, who did everything possible to make us feel welcome and allowed us to try some irons out. I would not hesitate to go there next time, but stay well away from the Leeds Road store in Huddersfield

I recently bought some golf locker prong step tees on-line. They have proved to be of very poor quality - they break so easily lasting only about 4 holes on average. I have been a customer of Direct Golf for many years and am disappointed that you sell goods that are not up to the job

Having spent quite a lot of money in the last year at your shop in Dundee, I am quite dismayed to find that the points supposedly accrued are not being added to my account. I also bought a Powakaddy which was supposed to include a free bag, this to be sent from powakaddy at a later date. Despite registering as required this never did materialise.
