I ordered a Taylormade 5 wood on line at what I thought was a good price ,I paid extra for next day delivery which still made it cheaper than going to American golf .the club arrived with no head cover when there was clearly one in the 4 pictures relating to club on the web page and also the club had strike marks hence not a new club .I complained via email and got a reply stating no head cover comes with this club and they also failed to mention the fact that the club had been used . It would have been cheaper to have purchased the club from American golf and at least I would have got a club that nobody else had used and a head cover would have been included in the price

Have ordered regularly for some time without problems, although postage charges are very high. I have been trying to return an item post Christmas as it was too small and have had a very poor experience. In the preiod through to early January I had ne success using the number 08000 139139. Last week I did get through and got a return number. on making a final check I found the postal address has changed from Long Marston, York [YO26 7NH] to Shirebrook [NG20 8RY]. Since then I have been trying to call to make sure I use the right address and am getting a message saying the number is temporarily out of order. Help please! Paul - 02890 225118.

paid for next day delivery service so my order would be delivered on my day off,but parcel never arrived. after receiving parcel i checked bank balance and sports direct had charged me twice for the same order.unhappy customer

I brought a golf bag for my husband when he opened it it had a sale tag on it stating reduced from £79.99 to £59.99 ... I paid £89.99 !! I complained and the answer I received was that a mistake had been made by an employee prior to the Xmas sales . I complained again and was given a £10 refund ... Needless to say I am not impressed and will not recommend this company.

Wrong golf socks sent so I sent them back, I have not heard anything from DG don't know if I'm getting refund or are they sending me the correct socks. Suppose I'll have to wait until my C/card bill comes in. G

Since the aquision of DG by Sports Direct, stock in their retail outlets is virtually non existent. What stock is left, is sparce and obviously been on display. Cannot place orders for 'Brand 'names at moment either. Sad, because DG were a first class outfit in the recent past. I have spent a large amount over the years with them, but I am afraid I am now having to go to American Golf, or other on line Golf suppliers., Nix, Solihull

Stormberg trousers were a good deal but appear to have just been a clearance. Since Sports direct have taken control Direct Golf's brands and selections have massively gone down hill. Premium brands seem to have gone and Slazenger and Dunlop appear to have taken over....I don't think I have a polite word for the quality of these brands.

I ordered two pairs of Slazenger trousers - one "winter" and one "normal" - both size 36 waist and 31 leg. When I received them they were sized 36 Regular with no indication of leg length. When measured one pair was 30.5 ins leg and the other 32.5 ins. How can there be 2 inches different in the same size? I have kept the shorter ones but returned the longer ones to my nearest store. At least they have agreed to refund my Paypal account but I shall not be purchasing any more clothing online.

After returning my faulty shoes it took 4 requests, 25 days, before a replacement pair were dispatched to me. If I had not chased the replacement shoes (4 times) I have no idea how long it would have taken to get the replacement pair

I bought two dozen golf balls as xmas presents for my son- in- laws, balls arrived quickly but one box containing a dozen balls had three balls lying loose instead of in a sleeve as they should be, also box was scuffed and obviously had been lying about for a while , not good enough as a present in my eyes, I don't think I will hurry back to purchase any goods. DG stock goods you can buy in Sports Direct, rubbish basically. They now use Hermes to deliver goods. They threw a Druh belt buckle over the fence and left he package in the rain........(which also clothes in it).....Avoid and go elsewhere

Fast order and delivery but package contained only one item ordered, not two. Also, courier left package on doorstep so that the package got soaked. House was occupied all day and if the door bell had rung it would have been answered. Prompt response to my complaint - have been advised that the second item has now been despatched - hopefully by a different courier.

waited 4 weeks for delivery. You then notified me to say you could now deliver. I replied to say I couldn't take delivery until 3 Nov which you acknowledged. 2 hours later you notified me again to say order was sent. I am now back from holiday and have to travel 9 miles to Parcelforce office to pick it up. Hardly worth it for 3 golf gloves!!

Ordered a NEW putter and the putter came through which had been used and was also centre shafted. I contacted customer service who sent one out two days later but the warehouse should be checking all orders before leaving?

Not entirely DG's fault, apparently they had computer problems which delayed despatch of the order (a load of golf balls) for about a fortnight. However, no information was forthcoming until I emailed to enquire why the order after over a week was still 'pending' when the situation was explained. I then received an email informing me the problem was fixed and did I still want the order to which I replied in the affirmative. A week later still no order, contacted them again and the order, for some reason, had not been despatched - which to be fair was done immediately, but not before I had had to buy some balls at a MUCH, MUCH higher price (it was a good job I won some in the 'twos' competition in the meantime, which alleviated the pain in the wallet a bit).

I ordered a pair of Footjoy Dryjoy Tour shoes. I wasn't able to process my voucher code online so I had to go to my nearest store (Tunbridge Wells) to redeem the voucher. The transaction went through and I was told the shoes would arrive 2-3 days later at my home address. A week later the shoes hadn't arrived. I called the store and was told it was due to computer problems; that it would be chased and that they'd be a further 48hrs. In the following 2 weeks I had to call the store another 4 times. The story changed a number of times. Eventually the store told me that the company was being taken over, that I'd been given a refund without being notified, that the shoes were no longer available and that they weren't being told anything from head office? I get the impression they knew this from the start but I had been given the run around, causing a 3 week delay in my order! Annoyingly I'd had to do all the chasing and wondered when I would have been told had I not chased the delivery? I checked with my bank over several days and the refund never materialised? Yet again I called the store and was quickly signposted to head office. They confirmed a company takeover and apologised for delay. The refund had never been processed. Head office despatched the shoes and complementary socks/6 balls with next day delivery. Female at head office was very polite, but a month delay in total was simply unacceptable, with a string of tales along the way. In a competitive online market, this service was poor and I'd take my business elsewhere in future.

I ordered tee pegs which are difficult to find in pro shops. They sent me the wrong kind, ones which I could easily have bought in several of the pro shops of clubs I have visited recently. What a waste of money and time. Hope I get a refund.
