Whilst I appreciate that prices are keen on everyday items, I went to Direct Golf a couple of months back and bought a set of clubs to replace the very old second-hand set I was using. As a golfing ignoramus I fell for the advertising about getting fitted etc. I wanted to try a set of Ping G30s but the salesman wasn't very keen to let me try them. I hit shots with 7 irons from about 5 different ranges of clubs and eventually settled for Taylor Made as the most comfortable of the selection I had to try. It was only whilst speaking to a professional a couple of months later that it became apparent I should have been measured properly for length of club, been given options for shaft flex and different types of grip that I realised I had made an error and should have gone to a 'proper' pro shop. I feel like it was an opportunity wasted and now wonder how much more I could have got for my £1,200?

To be asked to pay a further £30 to have my clubs custom fitted despite spending over £1000 was abit of an insult if i'm honest. I wasn't told that there was a cost involved until i received a return phone call. Disappointing really

I am still waiting for my purchase which I made on Monday 31st August. I paid the extra for next day delivery which did not happen, Customer services have kindly said they will refund the postage I paid. Parcel Force have yet to deliver my parcel, they claim to have made a Delivery Attempt yesterday but left no card to say this,so where they went remains a mystery. Currently waiting in another day for the purchase to arrive. Only then will I be able to review the product.

I paid for my item before 4pm ( IBANK50939279IM ) and received confirmation at 3.37pm. I took advantage of next day delivery and paid the surcharge. It didn't happen . I received an email the next day @ 08.35hrs advising of dispatch --- obviously neither processed correctly nor in time for next day delivery. Becuase of bankholiday weekend and it seems your courier does not deliver on a Saturday I am still waiting. I particularly wanted the GPS for Sat 29th ! Th eonly bright spot is that your customer service accepted the responsibilty and have effected a rebate of extra postage --- takes up to 10 days !! I will be on th elookout

Impossible to place an order for multiple items kept crashing. Had to use the telephone ordering line in the end. They were very efficient and advised me on the best price using offers advertised .

I chose to collect my purchase from the Lincoln store. When I placed the order, I received a message telling me that I would be informed when it was ready to collect. I never was informed; I was able to see from the parcel-tracking facility on the ParcelForce website that it had been delivered to Lincoln earlier that day and waited a couple of hours before phoning myself to confirm it was ready to collect.

I was disappointed that my full order was delayed for some time as a result of one of the items being out of stock. When you eventually suggested a substitute I had to inquire as to which item in my order was missing. When you established that I would take a substitute, the delivery was quick and efficient.

I got a new taylormade driver at a great price but, Direct Golf let me down. Paid the extra for next day delivery but it never came. Phoned up to find that sorry, you won't be getting it today. Although I did get it the following day. Have been told that a refund us on its way, it's not been paid back yet. Either have next day delivery or not, but don't mess people around.

On the 05th August I ordered 3 pairs of Galvin Green trousers, one pair was not due in until 19th August so for whatever reason the whole order was held back and it was only when I chased that the two, in stock, pairs that they were sent. Whereas, if I had ordered individually the order would have been sent out. The Out of Stock pair were due in on the 19th August, as yet they have not appeared or have I been advised of any delay. Not a great customer experience on this occasion. The good news is that the quality of the products I have received is excellent, just let down by the service.

Deceit, confusion, delays, dissatisfaction are all words I would use to describe my experience with Direct Golf. Your attractive prices convinced me to spend my money with you buying two gold bags: a cart bag and a stand bag. However, the price is the only aspect of the transaction that satisfied me. Both bags I ordered were given delivery dates due to them being on order. Both of these bags did not turn up on time, one of which was then discontinued. You chose to notify me of this change after the delivery date that you informed me of. I was then told to choose another bag, which I did by choosing an item that was 'In stock' on your website. I was then informed that this was wrong and that the bag was not in stock. I am glad I did not spend more money on deceitful stock levels, but how many other customers experienced this same deceit? I shan't be using direct golf again in a rush and will shop elsewhere. Ben

Club for my Grandson was deliver to the wrong address they then delivered it to here when my Grandson was here and he recognised what it was . surprise wasted! Very poor!

Items ordered are out of stock and not notified. Still not received part of order, had to telephone to find information on the delivery date. Not happy with service

I entered into a purchase/seller agreement based on your product only to find you had advertised goods that you never had in stock - not happy and not a good way to do business. Customer service was excellent but i really should never have dealt with them if you had advertised what you actually had in stock.

I ordered a replacement battery for my golf trolley. I waited in to take the order and the wrong style battery had been sent. Quick call and was told it will be rectified the next day. Next day the incorrect one was collected and a new one delivered (again I waited in). The new one that was delivered was the again incorrect (exactly the same as the one the day before and totally different to the image on the website). Another phone call, pictures taken and emails sent and was told you didn't even stock the battery I was sent. Finally today (the 3rd day I've waited in from work) it is replaced with the correct battery. The plus side it was rectified quickly and with no fuss. The downside is I've now waited in 3 times and not once did anyone apologise. I also asked for maybe some pro v 1 balls to compensate for the fact I've had to wait in 3 days - i was told they woukd see what they could do. Nothing arrived.

My delivery was over 4 weeks late. I chased my order up once and was told it would arrive the following week. It didn't. There was absolutely no communication about the delay in my order. All in all, very poor service.

Paid for the golf trolley item was in stock then received email saying out of stock 3 weeks later 3after sending 3 emails I was told the free bag offer was no longer available I then cancelled order ,
