The worst chemist to get chronic medication from . Absolutely frustrating, lack of contact , deliveries not done on time . Incorrect medication delivered

Ordered something paid for it. App showed it was in stick. Got a telephone number to let me know it is out of stock. My account was credited. Ordered again few weeks later in the morning. Went to collect in the afternoon. Order was not processed. Received a telephone call next day to let me know the person dealing with orders was not at work. Would not recommend online ordering. System is not working. To collect orders is a total nightmare

Good afternoon. I changed from Zeevenwacht Cape Town to Sitari Fields Cape Town for collection of my chronic meds, because it is more convenient. As the queue is always very long at the pharmacy, I phoned my order for collection. I get to the counter and there's no bell. Another gentleman comes and goes to stand at the next counter. The pharmacist comes and goes to help him. Without explanation to me. They take very long. When she eventually comes to me, I told her I'm upset cos the reason why I phoned to get my order ready, was so that I don't have to wait.

I had the pleasure of engaging with Simile Thabethe, who is the Pharmacist Assistant at Dischem and she deserves the highest praise for her outstanding service on March 21st which was a Public Holiday. Despite the challenges posed by the day, Simile went above and beyond the call of duty to assist me, demonstrating exceptional professionalism and dedication. I had encountered numerous frustrations while attempting to inquire about the availability of my medication, having been cut off from the switchboard multiple times. However, Simile's unwavering commitment to customer service shone brightly as she not only answered the switchboard but also took the initiative to personally check the pharmacy for the medication I needed. Her proactive approach and genuine concern for my well-being were truly remarkable. What truly sets Simile apart is her warmth and friendliness. Despite the pressures of nearing the end of her workday, she greeted me with a smile and engaged me in delightful conversation, instantly putting me at ease. It felt as though I was interacting with an old friend rather than a healthcare professional, which speaks volumes about her exceptional interpersonal skills. Simile's exemplary performance reflects her dedication to her role as a Pharmacist Assistant and her commitment to exceeding customer expectations. Her exceptional customer service, unwavering dedication, flawless execution of duties, make her a shining beacon of excellence in the medical community. Her positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile make her a true asset not only to the medical field but also to her employer, Dischem. i went to Dis-chem bedford centre, to give in my script that has been the same for many years, the lady behind the counter was extremely arrogant and proceeded to tell me she could not load my script due to the fact that there was one schedule 5 item on the script. I explained to her that my Doctor always sends a script to me and A Dischem Branch to be loaded. She continued to be rude to me and I asked her if she was a pharmacist, she said she wasn’t and I asked to see the pharmacist. After he explained to me that the Doctor had emitted to send them a copy, which I understand, but when she returned she continued to belittle me and told me I was wrong, that is why I was angry. I was angry as I had an unqualified person who had no customer service ability trying to serve me, what has happened to customer service, three months ago the very same Dischem dispensed the incorrect medication to me but I had to understand when they caused serious damage and I could have taken the matter further. These people who are not qualified are given too much responsibility and do not do their jobs correctly. Why should I continue to spend my hard earned money in a store that does not understand or appreciate their customers. I went to another dischem branch and they were very kind and explained that all the items on the script could be dispensed but one which I then mailed the Doctor to let him know that he had forgotten to include Dis- Chem as usual. Please Dis-chem do not give power to people who do not know how to handle customers as this will harm the your business more than you know.

I bought a facial cream prescribed by my Dr. It's a small cream cost over R400. The pharmacist at Randpark Ridge mall did not mix the meds properly as prescribed by my doctor. Messed up my face very badly. What a waste of my money and left my skin damaged. Last week I ordered the same cream from another pharmacy in centurion not part of dischem and my face is looking much better @Dischem train your pharmacists or upfront tell us if you don't know what your required to do

COMPLAINT CORNUBIA 60 MINUTES & DISCHEM ONLINE Hello, REF 60 min - Cornubia I ordered 6 cans of baby formula 27th Feb 2024 just around 21h20 on 60 minutes for next day delivery between 10am to 11am, the app showed available stock. Paid for it R1594, got a reference number. Next day 28/02, a lady Jabu Mkhize calls me to tell me no stock in store and that she will need to do a refund. Refund will take 5 to 7 days. Told her it's not fair to wait 7 days for my refund as their app showed stock available at Cornubia as you can choose the store. I asked if she can check other Dischem stores and use that payment to secure Formula , she can't do that. She cancelled order on system, no credit/ refund details provided. She promised on 28th Feb that refund will be done, as I advised that I cannot wait 7 days to feed my child for a system error that is not my fault. I called on the 29th, spoke to a Portia who gave Jabu msg and told me that if it was a online order they would have secured the formula or tried to. BTW Jabu called back after my call around 10am, I missed her call. I have called back 3 times since and still no return call from Jabu Mkhize, no refund reflecting on app or on bank account. Where is the refund? EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED! 28th Feb - PMB - Woodburn Square Went to check on formula, a pleasant black gent checked on system, called around for me. No stock available. KUDOs to this gent, very patient and helpful. Checked and told me 3 stores in CPT has stock. REF: ONLINE ORDER 29th Feb I then did an online order for 6 can of formula, paid for it, ref nr. Hopinv to get stock from CPT that was on system on 28/02. Got a call on Monday saying only 2 cans can be secured, she will have to refund the balance. I asked lady to please check CPT branches as well, she replies that she can't do that as she is Gauteng and the online order only comes from Gauteng. I asked why is that not stated on app. I asked her to please check on which stores in CPT has and let me know, I will contact them myself. She promised to call back, but to date did not. She just went onto system logged the 2 formula for delivery and closed the sale query with credit on my app for the 4 cans. Issues I have is the ffg: - If there's no stock at Cornubia, why did the 60 minute go through on app. -Online order should state only stock in Gauteng will be sent, this is not a app that considers national stock holding. - When is someone going to call with feedback on refund and where was the money refunded to for 60 minute order. - When am I going to receive feedback on which stores in CPT has stock and its contact numbers? ADVICE TO FELLOW CUSTOMERS, some of the DISCHEM STAFF don't care about the service they render. Your problems and your refunds does not matter, their time is too precious to waste on a paying customer! Both my payments were only R1559+ R1594= R3153 in total, maybe it's too little to raise concern with them.

Please tell your driver of JJ 11 KB GP. he is likely to die if he overtake in an intersection pass a 4m trailer turning right.. If I do drive over him, as he has no regard for the rules of the road, his own safety or that of other road uses that might wake him up. Today 13:00 at Malibongwe & Boundary in Linden The details to report this kind of driving has been scratched off as it seems he is a regular at it... Please do not apologies as per you KRM SOP rather take action. Don't sene ma an e-mail

Subject: Complaint Regarding Poor Service and Mishandling of Medication Order Dear [Dischem Customer Service], I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I received during my recent medication collection at your [insert location] branch. Despite sending the prescription script twice with clear instructions for collection, the process was marred by unacceptable incompetence and negligence. On both occasions, I provided detailed notes regarding the collection, including all necessary information. I was assured by one of your representatives that upon receipt of the email, I would receive an immediate call. However, after waiting for 20 minutes without any communication, I had to initiate contact only to be told that the order was being prepared and that I would receive an SMS once it was ready. Unfortunately, this promised notification never arrived. Subsequently, I dispatched a driver to collect the medication, who waited for over an hour at your premises. Despite the lengthy delay and multiple exchanges, the order was still incomplete, missing several items clearly specified in the email. Most distressingly, upon inspecting the package, I discovered that my vital Trenvir medication was omitted entirely. This level of incompetence and disregard for customer well-being is utterly unacceptable, especially when dealing with chronic medication. It is distressing to think that despite clear instructions and a seemingly empty store, such critical errors occurred in the packing process. As a loyal customer of Dischem, I am deeply disappointed and disillusioned by this experience. It reflects poorly on the entire franchise and undermines the reputation of the Dischem brand. I implore you to investigate this matter thoroughly and take immediate steps to rectify the systemic issues causing such failures in service. I urgently request a follow-up regarding the missing medication and an assurance that measures will be implemented to prevent similar incidents in the future. Furthermore, I seek clarity on the managerial oversight at the [insert location] branch, as accountability must be upheld. I trust that you will address these concerns promptly and comprehensively. Corine Howard at Dischem Table Bay Mall is always extremely professional, friendly and helpful. Yesterday, 7 February, Corine went to extra lengths to ensure that my new prescription was correctly processed. She took time to respond to my query, contacted my cardiologist's rooms to clarify and also support her understanding of the changed situation. Corine had to e-mail information as the cardiologist was unavailable (in theatre). She ensured that she had two available contact numbers and contacted me today to confirm medication and dosage of new medication. NB Corine printed new labels for existing medication regarding adjusted dosage to avoid any confusion. Her knowledge, time, professionalismand pleasant demeanour are all very much appreciated.Thank you, Corine!

Always waiting more than 20 minutes in the prescription queue amongst other sick and contagious people. There are always other pharmacists behind the desk who ignore the queue whilst only one works. Not to mention the blatant islamaphobia of the CEO.

This has been the worst experience i have had to endure, especially coming from so far to the store. Firstly placed my order yesterday. 10h30 decided to go collect. Get to your store, the Gentleman at the front woffelling, then takes my order # 3 x and the actual contents which was ordered. After waiting another +-20 min, the lady comes down forgot about the order, Thn he calls another lady, takes a while then they say they dont have stock and called my Husband, probably at the same time I was there LOL. My order was taken on line no problem, then to be told when i get ther no stock with all the incompetance to go with it. wow what must i say, I just walked out as i cannot deal with this ! common man first it was the covid what darn excuses you going to make up now. Just plain lazy and cannot do the job!

I phoned yesterday just after 2pm to book an appointment for today at 1pm at Park Meadows. I asked for the lady to check if the Vitamin B complete injection was available for the appointment. I was told someone would phone shortly. I am still waiting for the call back???? The appointment was not made and now they are full for today. Judge for yourself.....
