Although the size chart is shared across several styles, the fit can vary quite a bit depending on the fabric and cut, and I truly apologise that this one didn't meet your expectations. The lack of stretch is definitely noted, and we’ll be looking into the product description to make sure it's as accurate as possible. “I have been buying these lovely dresses for around two years now,they are retro styles of yester year.They are made very well using good materials ,the cotton ones are more for the summer while the other material they use is thicker and heavier more suited to the winter days.They are a varied designs and have names for the styles.Generally speaking they are good but it would be nice to have more different materials used to make them more interesting”

“Lovely quality retro style clothing. Excellent online service. Fast dispatch and delivery. Free returns would be amazing as it’s a bit of a risk ordering if unsure of size and then paying delivery and return costs if an item doesn’t fit.”

“Lovely choice of dresses, it was hard to choose! I ordered a few as wasn't sure about the fit/length/colour. Order was processed and arrived quickly and I was very happy with the quality of the dresses. I kept my favourite and returned the others. The only slight negative about the shopping experience was that there are no few returns. I didn't want to chance sending without some sort of proof of delivery as the contents were worth £90 and I couldn't afford to lose that if the parcel went astray! Once return received by the company I received my refund within a few days.”

“Lovely dresses i find I can size down one with the Amanda style But the Billiy I need true to my sizing , I think I love these a little to much as iv bought 9 dresses recently much to my husband's anoyance .I would definitely buy from Dolly again if I see something I like”

“Beautiful, but although it says to upsize...I would upsize twice over your normal clothes I.e if you are a 14 go for and 18. as it is a VERY VERY tight fit to a standard dress size. However would def buy from here again, stunning clothes!”

“I loved the dress, but the fact I have to pay for a return, if I needed to return, when I've already paid for the delivery. Will prevent me from ever ordering again.”
