“The dress I order was beautiful. The pattern and the colours went together wonderfully. But unfortunately it was to big for me. It has been returned, but I am still waiting for my payment to be refunded.”

“Great fit but not 100% on the colour as it's much brighter than the picture. I couldn't return as there was no invoice enclosed or any other paperwork for that matter. So I'm stuck with it. Its a shame as I would have probably sent it back and chosen the sage green instead.”

“First off, the fabric quality and construction is top notch. I work at a zoo, so the prints are PERFECT for the office and zoo events! The dress designs are fun and extremely flattering to any figure, which isn't something you normally find. I was skeptical how they would look, since other retro brands run small. If anything, I'd say Dolly and Dorry runs a little big. Not in a bad way! The dresses are SUPER comfortable and soft. Only because I wear them to work, I do wish some of the off-shoulder dress prints came in other styles. The reason I give them a 4 instead of a 5 is because the pockets are sewn in really low. I found that my dresses were a lot longer than the ones pictured on the models. I'm 5'9", so they shouldn't be hitting me as low as they are, even without a petticoat. I love that my phone fits in my pocket without it being obvious (also yay pockets!), but it ends up hitting my knees when I walk because they are so low. Thankfully I sew so these are all issues I can fix, and they definitely won't stop me from buying tons of Dolly and Dotty dresses in the future. Overall, GREAT dresses and amazingly fast shipping to the States! Just know you may need to alter your dress a bit. It's 100% worth it, in my opinion. I'm excited to see what other awesome animal prints they come out with. (Secretly hoping for something with rhinos). But having a gorilla dress to open our new gorilla exhibits and a koala dress to wear when we welcome our koalas? PERFECTION!”

“I was so surprised to receive my dresses so quickly. The plaids are quality material and long enough for my tall frame. At a recent dance I received so many nice compliments. It moved quite well especially during turns. The flirty fifties dress comes to just above my knee so my crinoline is much too long but I can adjust. That fabric is thinner and will be cooler for the summer. So far I am very pleased with the dresses and the company. I’m sure I will be a repeat customer.”

“The dress is stunning. It’s a perfect fit and very flattering. The service was terrible initially and the dress took longer than I would have expected to arrive however eventually it was sorted out and I’m very pleased. I would consider using them again but would probably stay clear of preorders”

“Probably not your fault but I paid £8 for next day delivery and it didn’t arrive until the day after, it didn’t fit anyway, but I must say my refund was nice and quick, still £8 out of pocket though, might order again, will see!”
