I am very pleased with my fridge freezer, so far everything is working. The person who delivered the F/F was very good. However I was very disappointed because the item was cancel on two occasions. I waited at home on the Wednesday and Thursday all Morning cancelled all my appointments. I received a call in the afternoon stating it will be delivered on Thursday that too did not happen. Eventually on the third day it finally came.

Great customer service and delivered quite quickly but why did my cooker hood come on a huge pallet that the delivery guy insisted we had to take as it was part of the delivery. An inconvenience to say the least!! The cooker hood box was about a quarter the size of the pallet.

Fridge freezer is a great job, but after paying all that money I think it was a liberty to take an extra £45.00 off me to remove the doors. Everyone knows that an American style fridge freezer won't go through a normal standard door with the doors on. Currys wouldn't have done that!

Hi James I am sorry you felt the £45.00 charge was excessive , let us explain.. We price our appliances extremely competitively , we do this to give the customer the best possible deal . In many cases customers do have double door access to the rear of their property so allowing for the door removal in the retail price would to be too general and unfair to those who do not require the service. If we were to offer this inclusive of the price the retail price would simply increase as the margins are so low . Our drivers and fitters are trained , qualified and insured to carry out these tasks , again this comes at a cost but one of the main reasons for the charge is liability . We are completely liable for any damage to property or the machine , our insurance costs are very high to allow for this protection . We do explain to the customer, prior to order, the costs involved , so that the customer can make an informed choice . I hope the above explains our position . Best Regards Donaghy Bros

Purchased a luxair hood. Screws missing that are used to install hood not in the bag in the box after delivery, a bit disappointing, however hood working perfect, but chimney part not completely secured, guess we will have to wait till new year. Can we get the missing screws etc..?

Hi there, mixed review, first stage of experience very good - as in finding us the model we wanted in short lead time (we were let down by an order placed elsewhere so delighted when you found one). A little annoyed when advised the delivery date was changing day before arrival, I had moved meetings etc to be home, so then also had to move plans the following Monday to again be there for delivery. The next part is not directed at Dmaghys but to Stoves. Having had the cooker installed we found one of the wok burners wont stay on, all instrutions followed. Had a long wait to get through on phone, and then when through was advised wont see an engineer until the New Year. Absolutely understand that with Covid situation there is a strain on us all in so many ways, but the call handler didnt seem too interested - he said priority given to other more pressing issues. Again kind of get that, but having spend a good deal of money on my partners dream cooker this has knocked the shine of things somewhat!!!

Driver failed to make contact prior to his arrival.This was a minor inconvenience so I chose not to make an issue of it.However the appliance was supplied with no books etc.and I would be grateful if you can rectify, Thanks Pat Byron

Order was placed only to be then advised that the product was not available. Email received stating a similiar product was available at the same cost. No comparitive info supplied. Upon checking out the product it was deemed an acceptable alternative and was accepted. Delivery was on the day advised. But no horizon of when it would be delivered so had to stay around the house all day. It was only delivered at 5.30pm. Delivery driver really not friendly at all. Would still order from Donaghy Bros due to free delivery.

The product I ordered was perfect and it was delivered quickly. My only issue was to do with trying to contact Donaghy Bros. The phone number listed would not work from a mobile and an important query that I submitted via a message option went unanswered.

Very pleasant delivery driver however he was not sanctioned by your company to take away the old fridge freezer even though we paid extra as per WEEE fund.

Placed an order with a fridge freezer. Pay additional as wanted to choose deliverty date and times, but end up not be able to, the seller did refunded me money. Then the delivery was schedule in the morning but did not arrived until over 3pm. The driver was rude and just left the machine at the door step. Me and my family 3 people moved the machine into our house and asked the driver to wait 2 mins as we wanted to connect with power make sure it works before we sign any paper. The driver refused to wait and left. Very disappointed.

Good service slightly marred by unhelpful reply to a call about the delivery time. I wanted the reply to a simple answer - how can I find out when an appliance is arriving? - and was made to feel as if I were nuisance caller. That was unnecessary and annoying.

I was very pleased with the service,then when i opened the package it was'nt what i wanted, so to return it you looked for a fee of 120stg which is outrages,so here i am now with something thats of no use to us and to expensive to return.

ordered an appliance but could not complete purchase as item was out of stock and wait was too long for new stock to come in. was disappointed as only found this information out after hearing nothing for a few days and then me contacting them,not good customer service!

I was so pleased to be able to order this particular fridge from you as it appeared you were the only stockist in the UK. BUT on the day it was delivered it was manhandled off the lorry by the sole driver and dragged along the ground without a trolley shedding the polystyrene base and being knocked against the door. It remains in the garage until it can be brought into the house and I am concerned about the condition of the fridge but cannot comment until the wrapping is removed.

The only supplier I could find that had the particular fridge i wanted in stock. Very quick and efficient shipping as well as good communication throughout. Deducted 2 stars as the delivery driver was so rude and unhelpful, leaving a very heavy fridge on the pavement (I had to convince him not to leave it on the road, as it seemed too much of an effort for him to bring it to my house)

Maybe it was the damaged during transit but the package certainly looks like the item may have been a return that has been resold. All internal protective polystyrene was smashed. Item looks OK fortunately.

Hello I have not got my fire yet hope it comes soon. had a call. asking if I would accept a shop soiled one. which I did and asked for a discount for it - not received an answer yet on that as it was. out of stock. nice lady but. still not got it. Any ideas when it is coming. please Thanks. 21st September

I haven’t yet received the item I purchased. Whilst I am aware there was an apparent delay in the vendor receiving the item, I just received a curt message that there would be a two week delay.
