Passed off delivery. Would not help and delivery when "paid" for was terrible. 83 yo lady left with un-wrapped freezer and upset. I was not there as I thought I'd paid for a 2-man delivery which delivers and un wraps

Paid for item told it was out of stock after expecting delivery and they couldn’t get any more in . Item is now available again on website for £50 more . They did refund my money quickly though

Purchased a cooker hood online. Received an email to say the item was going to be delivered to the couriers in a couple of days and once they’ve received it, I’d be given a delivery date. I was told to expect delays due to the current issues with HGV drivers. I then received another email a week later to say that the item wasn’t actually in stock (some sort of error with their stock taking!). I wouldn’t have minded if I had been notified on the day it was supposed to have been shipped to the couriers. It would have given me a little more time to source the hood ready for the kitchen fitters. Instead, I managed to find the hood but it came a day too late and as yet, hasn’t been fitted. Really disappointed with the service. If you can’t fulfill an order, please notify your customers immediately. The only reason why I’ve given two stars is because you issued a refund without any lengthy delays.

Unfortunately when your item was being prepared for dispatch we noticed a stock discrepancy online and we had mistakenly oversold on this hood. It was an error at our end and we apologise for the inconvenience caused. I know that our team advised that we had more on order and that there were alternatives in stock but appreciate that at this point you preferred to get a refund, which as you noted we processed straight away. Dear sirs Last week I eventually received my freezer and microwave. The previous week the delivery driver refused to stop on the road as he believed that he was blocking the traffic. This despite there being many hands to assist the offload. The delivery company said they would return with a smaller van to be able to get up the drive. This was very annoying as I had paid an extra £100 to yourselves to ensure that there was an extra person in the van to assist with getting the goods up in my steep narrow drive. The following week they arrived with exactly the same van and dropped the goods and took them up the drive with my assistance. The second person did not help. I am therefore complaining about the £100 that was paid to yourselves for no benefit and the very poor service that ArrowXL provided. I am refurbishing the house and have had goods of all shapes and sizes successfully delivered. Yours was the first failed delivery and the first time that I paid extra for the delivery. I look forward to your response and a refund of my £100. Regards Grant Stenhouse

Hello We are sorry for the delay in your order being delivered to you. The item has left our warehouse and is with our courier Arrow XL. They like all couriers are facing various struggles in terms of driver shortages and disruptions to the fuel supply. As a result there is a slight back log with their deliveries. Thank you for placing an order with us, our Warehouse team advised that your item was dispatched from our warehouse on Thursday 22nd and would arrive with our UK based home delivery company on Monday 26th. And that from there the third party company would draw up their own delivery schedule for the following 5-7 days. Unfortunately at this point when the order has left our warehouse we cannot give you an exact delivery date, however you were provided with the delivery company details and were advised that they would call you to confirm the delivery date 1-2 days prior to delivery. When requesting a replacement or refund for an item that was faulty out of the box, an induction hob (although out of the 14 day window) this was rejected. Donaghys also refused initially to assist in negotiating a repair for us saying it was something we had to contact the manufacturer on (this was still within 6 months of purchase). They eventually did do this for us, the engineer visit failed to fix the issue. Donaghys then attempted to get a second visit from an engineer which we declined as this was running into several weeks without a working hob. Eventually Donaghys accepted the item back but only after stating consumer rights. The two stars is for a well laid out store, good sales team. I will likely never be back to Donaghys as the returns policy is a complete disappointment, fobbing customers off when something goes wrong but selling you the world at the same time.

We're sorry to hear you have been disappointed with your return request. We believe the sales team did explain at the time of purchase that the hob was a plug in 13Amp hob and therefore there was not enough power to run all hobs at the one time. In order to arrange a return, we needed to contact the manufacturer Blomberg to inspect the item before we could either refund or replace the hob which we subsequently did. What can I say? There is no customer service to talk about when delivery is to the kerb. I’m a woman in her 60s with a husband in his 70s and this was a BIG Fridge Freezer. So, I ordered & paid for the fridge, you had it delivered to the kerb, end of story. No customer service worth talking about really.

Hello Mrs Whelan, we are sorry to learn that you were disappointed in the delivery service. We currently offer kerbside delivery to the South of Ireland - which means to the nearest point of access. If the driver can access your drive way then it will be delivered as close to the property as they can get. We realise that this may not be suitable for everyone so we always ensure that the customer is aware in advance of the delivery arrangements so that they can arrange assistance or even cancel the order if the delivery method is unsuitable. Bought 2 Beko larder fridges. Ordering was straight forward but advised delivery would be kerbside only. Had to purchase a trolley at £40 to enable getting them into the house. Definitely not ideal!

Hi Susan, For deliveries outside of NI we use external courier services and customers are advised at the time of ordering and upon dispatch that it will be a pallet delivery upfront with delivery to nearest point of access so that you can make appropriate arrangements and cancel the order if this is not suitable. We also offer an upgrade service to a two man delivery service to enable transport of goods into the premises if preferred. Kind Regards, Donaghy Bros.

I ordered a washing machine had to wait for nearly a week for a delivery date. Then I emailed the company asking to give me my delivery date. A couple of days later they responded that they did not have the item in stock and suggested that I buy a more expensive model. I asked for a refund, which was promptly issued. But I lost nearly 2 weeks hoping to get the washing machine from them and then eventually ordered it from someone else.

The dishwasher I brought was £50 cheaper and in stock through this company. However I wish I had paid the extra £50 as it was delivered 10 days after the delivery date and the delivery guys just through it through the door, it looks like it has been rolled down the road

My Miele Fridge/Freezer arrived with 10 diffferent user manuals .... Geman / French etc but not one in English. I called to request an English user manual and was advised to print one down from the internet. It became clear that the fridge / freezer was for a European market as it had an EU plug. I have 10 other Miele items and all have an English user manual. I dont think a printout from the internet is acceptable and request a Miele original user manual be sent ASAP

We have also requested a proper instruction manual to be sent to you directly . For your peace of mind we checked with Miele regarding the operation and warranty .Miele have confirmed the machine you received will work perfectly in the UK and is fully guaranteed . Wasn't happy the way they handle their business because they don't even know how many item they have in their stock and when a customer buys an item,after two days they send a mail stating that this product is out of stock and they have some different model if i would like.

Good price. However, the delivery company used decided to abandon the package, (worth hundreds of pounds and a Christmas gift for my fiance), on our doorstep while we were out. This created two problems. 1. the package is clearly marked as a Kitchenaid, and so anyone passing by could easily identify the value and take it. And more importantly 2. When we arrived home my fiance saw the package, and now knows what shes getting for Christmas. Not very happy.
