Ordered a dyson which arrived faulty, sent email asking for an exchange or refund and following their terms and conditions they would collect. I got a reply simply stating to call dyson which I thought is not my problem to do so, replied this in an email and no response for over two weeks. I send four emails in those two weeks with no reply. Luckily I paid through PayPal or so I though as I opened a case with them and PayPal couldn't even get a reply, another week passed so I escalated the claim and till PayPal couldn't get a response, a failing on PayPal as well which I am also complaining about as they have not kept in contact with me. This is still ongoing and over a month has passed and I still have this dyson to be collected and my refund to happen. I would not recommend this company, today I also made a decision to call them on which the girl I spoke to thought it highly amusing that I haven't had a Working Hoover in all this time, but actually seemed to get the accounts manager to respond via PayPal. I am utterly disgusted and will never use this firm again.

Received email letting me know that delivery would take place on Friday 24th , at 3.30 on that day , having taken the day off to take delivery, I had not heard anything, so decided to phone , found out that my goods had not arrived in the warehouse yet . Surely I should have been informed of this beforehand. I have just wasted a whole day waiting . Still not sure when I will get my goods even though I paid for them over 2 weeks ago.

Great service, very knowledgeable staff with good advice - Malcolm. Cooker delivered by Graham and Caher who were very friendly and punctual - rang me first to say on way which was really helpful .

Ordered a Stoves double oven and the transaction was really easy and delivery was prompt. However we then found out that the grill tray had no handle and found if very difficult to source I feel Donaghy Bros could have been more helpful with at least a part number as opposed to " really sorry but can't help you, contact STOVES ".

In the middle of a new build and Donaghy Bros and Richard Duff particular were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Despite stock challenges with Covid-19 and new 2021 stock lines from all manufacturers, Richard was able to source what I needed and at a price that could not be beaten. He and Donaghy Bros will be getting plenty of business from family and friends over the next few months.

Whilst in the hospital after having our second baby and realising because she was early she was so tiny that she wouldn’t actually fit into the buggy I had thankfully I found the buggy I wanted a bugaboo fox in the colour I wanted on the Donaghy Bros website I called and spoke to Richard who promptly assisted me I could pay for it over the phone and it was shipped and delivered to my door in two days - such fantastic service. A pleasure to deal with a company so reliable and efficient. Product is as photographed as described. Very happy mum.

Be warned, this is not an electronics business as they claim but a sharade. They undercut the market with prices that are a telltale - they are not interested in the profit but in collecting your sensitive personal data especially for high value purchases, enabling identity theft and data misuse. They advertise items they don't have and their customer service is the worst I have ever seen. Avoid to avoid disappointment.

I ordered a £500+ Dryer from Donaghy Bros on Thursday evening as our old one gave up, it was showing as In Stock with a 3-5 working days, the following day I received an email to say the item was in Stock with their Home delivery company in the UK and they would be in touch with me to arrange delivery......and that was the last I heard. The following Tuesday I rang the delivery company and was told that they didn't know anything about my order....I contacted Donaghy Bros who said that there had been a mix up and the item wasn't actually in stock in the UK and that they were awaiting a delivery of stock from the manufacturer and they weren't sure when I would get my dryer. After contacting Donaghy Bros on Wednesday I was told that it would be delivered on Monday so I arranged to work from home so I could be there when it is delivered, after again chasing Donaghy Bros Friday morning I have been told that it will now be delivered on Tuesday....... Not once have I received a call/text/email from them keeping me updated, all in all pretty poor customer service !

Company did not respond to emails enquiring about delivery date for the order. They promised that courier would call on a particular day to confirm the delivery date but they did not. Waited in all afternoon for delivery on the date eventually notified but the courier failed to turn up - citing a technical fault with the delivery vehicle as the reason. Appliance eventually delivered two days later but at a much later time than promised. Only praise I can give is to the online sales team who I spoke to about the problems - they were courteous and helpful. Also rather silly that the request for this review was received over two weeks before the appliance was delivered.

Paid a lot of money for a Rangemaster Elise cooker in November. The hob is not working. When I rang Donaghys the girl was of no help, wasn’t interested. Just gave me a number for the manufacturer. Sitting now with a very expensive cooker not working over the holidays with children to feed as the guy is off for a week. Would not buy here again as no aftercare whatsoever. Very disappointed.

I managed to source my Elica Switch through Donaghy Bros which was very difficult through mainland uk suppliers . I was on a timescale for fitting and although they ran behind on shipping date they pulled it out if the bag and made sure I got it the next week. I got an apologetic email from James Donoghy the MD which was excellent customer service and shows a pride in the company name. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!! I ordered a Neff oven (hide and slide doors) at a cost of nearly £900. The item was delivered but as I was having my kitchen refitted it wasn’t ready to be fitted instantly. It was left in the packaging for safe keeping. When I opened the packaging I instantly saw that the oven door was completely smashed on the inside. I had owned the oven less than 30 days at this point (so under the consumer rights act 2015 should be entitled to a full refund). A refund was not offered. A Neff engineer attended to replace the door but when he took it out of the packaging he noticed a large dent underneath the oven. This was detailed in his report along with the advice of going back to the retailer if it affected the operating of the door. He also said it was strange that given that I had brought the oven so recently that a new one wasn’t immediately sent out. The door does not operate correctly and it quite frankly looks like something off a whoops counter rather than costing £900. They are now refusing to refund/ exchange the oven for one in full working order. Avoid this company at all costs. Sadly you only find out how good a company is when something goes wrong, I will never use them again and I would strongly advise others don’t either. I have now contacted my bank to try and recoup the money but if necessary I will be going to the small claims court. Absolutely outrageous service.

Dear Customer We understand your disappointment with this situation. However, as per our terms and conditions, which you accepted upon placing your order with us, we clearly state that customers must check and inspect the products before accepting the delivery and if any damage is identified then the customer must reject the item and return it to the delivery driver. This product was accepted on the 20th of November as being received in good condition therefore it is reasonable to assume it was free from damage/defects and possible to assume that the damage occurred post-delivery. There was clear packaging around the front glass door of the oven which if it was smashed would be very obvious. Damage was not reported promptly to either the courier or ourselves and it was only 27 days later on the 16th December that we found out about this. As such we were unable to accept a return of this item and instead arranged for a repair visit by logging a service call with Neff on the 17th December. We apologise that we cannot be of more help in this matter. Kind regards Donaghy Bros

Donaghy Bros accepted my order for an expensive TV last night and took the first payment in a Klarna agreement. I received an email this morning to say they'd cancelled my order. They said-"I have been advised there was an error on our site and this model was only available for delivery within Northern Ireland. We are unable to dispatch to mainland UK". No courtesy either in the email or on the phone when I called them. This felt like bait advertising and amateur customer service. Because the payment was processed through Klarna, I won't receive my money back for another 7 days. Disappointed and angry with their customer service. Avoid this company if buying from England.
