Avoid at all cost, especially if from the south! Brought us damaged Miele washing machine. Driver left by the door without proper handover. Donaghy do not refund/replace it, saying they have an e-signature. We have to go for a chargeback with bank now. A lot of hassle and stress.

Hello Andrei, We are sorry to hear of the issues with the appliance. The courier advised us that the item was delivered to the outside of your property in perfect condition but the images you have provided us show the appliance inside your property with damage. The POD we received from the courier does not mention any damage reported upon delivery. The courier provided us with images showing the appliance in their warehouse with no visible damage, which we have forwarded to you. From this footage, it is evident the machine was dispatched from their ROI hub in perfect condition and secured and delivered on the pallet. From the images and POD our courier has provided, neither we nor they accept that the damage happened whilst in transit to you. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept a return of this item. Paid a lot of money for a Rangemaster Elise cooker in November. The hob is not working. When I rang Donaghys the girl was of no help, wasn’t interested. Just gave me a number for the manufacturer. Sitting now with a very expensive cooker not working over the holidays with children to feed as the guy is off for a week. Would not buy here again as no aftercare whatsoever. Very disappointed.

Tried with 2 emails to sign up for discount code, both times when payment was pending approval I wasn’t sent the waiting for your approval on banking 365 app.

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!! I ordered a Neff oven (hide and slide doors) at a cost of nearly £900. The item was delivered but as I was having my kitchen refitted it wasn’t ready to be fitted instantly. It was left in the packaging for safe keeping. When I opened the packaging I instantly saw that the oven door was completely smashed on the inside. I had owned the oven less than 30 days at this point (so under the consumer rights act 2015 should be entitled to a full refund). A refund was not offered. A Neff engineer attended to replace the door but when he took it out of the packaging he noticed a large dent underneath the oven. This was detailed in his report along with the advice of going back to the retailer if it affected the operating of the door. He also said it was strange that given that I had brought the oven so recently that a new one wasn’t immediately sent out. The door does not operate correctly and it quite frankly looks like something off a whoops counter rather than costing £900. They are now refusing to refund/ exchange the oven for one in full working order. Avoid this company at all costs. Sadly you only find out how good a company is when something goes wrong, I will never use them again and I would strongly advise others don’t either. I have now contacted my bank to try and recoup the money but if necessary I will be going to the small claims court. Absolutely outrageous service.

Dear Customer We understand your disappointment with this situation. However, as per our terms and conditions, which you accepted upon placing your order with us, we clearly state that customers must check and inspect the products before accepting the delivery and if any damage is identified then the customer must reject the item and return it to the delivery driver. This product was accepted on the 20th of November as being received in good condition therefore it is reasonable to assume it was free from damage/defects and possible to assume that the damage occurred post-delivery. There was clear packaging around the front glass door of the oven which if it was smashed would be very obvious. Damage was not reported promptly to either the courier or ourselves and it was only 27 days later on the 16th December that we found out about this. As such we were unable to accept a return of this item and instead arranged for a repair visit by logging a service call with Neff on the 17th December. We apologise that we cannot be of more help in this matter. Kind regards Donaghy Bros

Donaghy Bros accepted my order for an expensive TV last night and took the first payment in a Klarna agreement. I received an email this morning to say they'd cancelled my order. They said-"I have been advised there was an error on our site and this model was only available for delivery within Northern Ireland. We are unable to dispatch to mainland UK". No courtesy either in the email or on the phone when I called them. This felt like bait advertising and amateur customer service. Because the payment was processed through Klarna, I won't receive my money back for another 7 days. Disappointed and angry with their customer service. Avoid this company if buying from England.

Poor customer service & delivery time was a lot longer than they stated,it would be. The delivery company they use were rude & unprofessional & let them down yet they were not willing to hear the feedback I wanted to give to them about Arrow ! The ONLY professional member of the team I dealt with out of 3 people was a lady called Laura, she went above & beyond to do what she could to rectify the problem. I will never use this company again

I had to give one star as there isn't the option of no stars. Very disappointed with Donaghy Bros. They took my order when they didn't have the stock to cover it and I had to belatedly order from Amazon to get the product I needed. I won't be using Donaghy Bros again and if anybody asks me about their level of service then I will answer in the negative.

Purchased a Le Creuset pot online that was supposedly shipped the following day. After 5 days the tracking info still said the same thing: parcel not picked up yet. I contacted them, and received a reply that they were sorry for the delay and they would ship now (so, again??). Took delivery of my order a further 2 days later. Basically they told me they had shipped it when they hadn’t, and a good 6-7 days were wasted with me just waiting around. That’s not the worst part. The Le Creuset pot arrived in bubble wrap and a big brown cardboard box. No original box or plastic clips that LC pots always come with. How can I give this away as a Christmas present when it looks as if I’ve just taken one of my own pots and stuck it in bubble wrap and cardboard?? When you buy a brand new (and not cheap!) product, you expect to get the original packaging with it. More alarmingly, the rim of the lid and pot is very dark in colour and rough to the touch. Any fan of LC will know that the rim is not bare cast iron, but coated in a transparent base coat. This pot, however, does not appear to have that. I have plenty of LC pots, and none of them have such a dark, gritty feel to the rim. It really makes me wonder if Donaghy Brothers are an authorised seller of LC products. Finally, their prices are often above the RRP. Unfortunately, they were the only ones I could find with items in stock of a particular colour. My advice is, if you can avoid buying from them, then save yourself the headache and do so.

In May 2020 we ordered a number of appliances from Donaghy Bros for our new kitchen based on reviews and customer satisfaction rating. The order was confirmed and all items available. In November 2020 we paid for order and awaited the delivery of all items. Subsequently, I was informed that the Neff microwave oven we had ordered and availability confirmed, had been taken and could not be located and was most probably taken to fill another order. After checking and numerous calls and emails by me, the microwave oven is unavailable and now it will not be available until after Christmas. As our new kitchen is designed specifically around this Neff oven and it is not available in any other suppliers, it is an incredibly frustrating experience. My interaction with Donaghy Bros has left me feeling that this is my issue and tough that my oven wouldn't be there for Christmas Dinner, etc. This is not customer service and unacceptable from a company that professes to have excellent customer service. Currently, I am in limbo with no updates or efforts to rectify the situation.

Actual Box was slightly damaged on the corners and smugged and it seems this item was opened before and repacked again .

I am very dissatisfied with Donaghy Bros. I ordered a Miele appliance costing more than £1000, which arrived damaged and with a broken glass door. Now it seems that replacement is not considered and I have to wait for Miele to approve and make a repair
