I don’t have too much to review - I haven’t received my order yet. Ordered a car seat in 25/04/21, got an email on 27/04/21 saying it would be delayed by a couple of days but as of yet I still haven’t received it or heard anything further.

Hello Laura, please accept our apologies regarding the delay. Unfortunately this is outside our control as we are still waiting on the manufacturer to delivery the item to us. I believe our web dispatch team was in touch with you on the 27th April to advise on the delay. You can of course cancel your order at any stage and obtain a refund or order an item that is in stock if you are not in a position to wait? Appauling! The efforts i have had to make to get a failed extractor replaced or repaired. Still not fixed. We are now getting there but shouldnt be like this. Seems they just want to sell not deal with problems.

Hello Rob, our apologies, we have incorrectly assumed that since our Customer Services team last spoke to you, and send across the manufacturer details in order to report the fault, that the matter was in hand. When the details are passed to the manufacturer/engineer, we do not have any way of knowing the progress (or lack of) unless the customer keeps us informed. The hob on my new Rangemaster Elise induction has never worked correctly. I reported this problem three months ago to Donaghy Bros who passed me on to Waterford Stanley. Three months later I am still waiting on Waterford Stanley to fix it!

You advertised and sold me an item which you did not have in stock. You refunded me quickly but it doesn’t detract from the fact that you took my money under false pretences.

I have to ring the beko repairs as the beko upright fridge I purchased isn’t working as it isn’t refrigerating at all. My meat order that I bought on Thursday has gone bad, so I now have no meat to eat for the week until I receive my pension to buy more. I also have a disabled brother living with me who is also without meat now also.

Great service until it came to delivery.. Goods arrived at my house unannounced No text to arrange delivery No delivery notification Rang courier number for 2 days no answer.. Rang store no answer No receipt Very bad communication .. UNBELIEVABLE very disappointed.

Ordered and paid for a Bosch washing machine on 6/3/2020.A few days later I got an e-mail to say it was out of stock even though it was still being advertised on your website.Very annoyed so went elsewere.Was hoping to buy an oven and hob but bought it elsewhere too.

Hello Catherine We take every care to ensure that our website reflects accurate stock levels but unfortunately in this scenario there was a slight delay in which this error occurred. We see your original order was placed online on the 4th March and we emailed you 12 minutes later to advise that regretfully we had oversold on that particular model having sold the last one just minutes beforehand. We advised that we had more coming in a couple of weeks’ time or could offer a similar alternative which could be delivered the next day. While you had initially said you were happy to wait for the machine to be restocked, we understand this order was then cancelled which we processed quickly for you. All communication regarding the error was almost instant, we offered the choice to wait on new stock, to purchase an alternative machine or a refund. While we understand your disappointment, I hope you would agree that there wasn’t much more we could have done in this scenario. Hi Noel, Unfortunately as Laura explained in your email exchange we cannot take the fridge back without its original packaging as it could not be transported back to our Warehouse safely without it. The other factor in our decision on this is because our stores are closed (in line with Covid regulations) which means we cannot sell it as ex-display even if it arrived here undamaged. When the goods are signed for it is expected that they have been checked and that the customer is happy to accept them as per our terms. Not sure why the reviews are so good. Maybe okay if nothing goes wrong but we were sold a faulty machine and they won’t replace or exchange just keep sending an engineer out, leaving us without a washing machine for weeks at a time. Worried when it get to a year of owning it they will turn around and just say it’s not there problem now.

We're sorry to hear that you have had difficulties with your product, as per manufacturer guidelines this falls under a repair warranty and we can only replace/refund the washer/dryer if an engineer confirms it is irreparable. I ordered a kitchen aid from Donaghy Bros back in December and when I opened the box the whisk attachment was missing. I contacted Donaghy Bros and was told they had contacted the supplier and a new one would he sent out. This never happened and I have now chased this up 4 times and still 3 months later have not recieved the missing attachment. Appaling customer service!!!

We purchased this oven in 2018. The problems are two fold: Donaghys initially were very helpful but only when the oven was purchased did we realise that it was to be delivered to the entrance to the drive ie more or less to be left on the street: how were we meant to carry it up the drive and into the house? Donaghys washed their hands of helping us with this. The second problem is that the cooker's fan has now broken down and has had to be replaced: this expensive oven is less than two years old and requires repairs: so not a good purchase. Pauline Briody

Hello Pauline, all customers are advised at the time of purchase that pallet deliveries are conducted as a one man service and the item will be wheeled to the nearest point of access (kerb side delivery). Any lifting / carrying is at the drivers discretion. Extremely unhappy with the service and no one actually helped me resolve my issue, I want a refund for a faulty item which was sent out twice and just fobbed off by staff on call.

Purchased an American style Fridge Freezer and Built-in Microwave. Fridge arrived fine but microwave was damaged. They told me to get it installed and they would send out a new one when in stock. New one came in damaged, they told me I would have to collect a new one myself despite an 8 hour round trip. I told them I couldn't drive 8 hours during lockdown, they said they would speak to their dispatch team, five months later they are telling me if I want another one delivered I will have to pay and extra €40. After arguing with them back and forward they are offering to take the damaged one and refund me. That would leave me without a microwave and a Kitchen that was modified for this model. I have paid for a tradesman to modify the cabinets and instal the microwave. They couldn't care less for their customers.

Brilliant to deal with until there was a genuine issue at which point the engagement on resolving the issue was not at all helpful and most certainly did not try to help in anyway. An easily rectifiable issue not rectified. Customer satisfaction 0. Recommend to friends- no way.

I have.purchased a hoover on 26/12 from their websites where delivery information was 3-5 working days. Two weeks later I still have not received my item despite reaching out to the seller. I have been informed ot should be delivered 5 days ago. I have Not received any update on delivery and I am very disappointed with that service. Would not recommend this seller as it is unreliable.

RETURN POLICY STINKS 21 DAYS WHEN MOST COMPANYS ARE 100 DAYS YOUD THINK THEY WOULD BE MORE FLEXIBLE SINCE IT WAS A XMAS PRESENT ORDERED EARLY !!! NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN

Very poor service and customer support. The cooker hood I ordered arrived very late and has since proved to be faulty. Tried to ring several times for customer support but keep being told that the person dealing with my enquiry is not in the office and they will ring me back…of course, they do not ring me back and I have to keep following up myself. Won't be using Donaghy Bros again.
