Got fridge it was left in middle of kitchen floor for 2 elderly people to sort out. Told they don't fit it in. Should say this on site. Most places will fit or offer it with sale

Donaghy Bros provided good service, but their distribution providers fell short. They did not deliver on the day that was arranged and did not contact me to warn of a problem. As a result I lost a whole day of work waiting for the goods in vain. We rearranged the date and they promised to inform me of the time of delivery first thing in the morning. That did not happen either. Shame delivery service is so unreliable.

How do I review a non-event? Donaghy accepted my order, accepted my payment, processed my order and six hours later informed me they had run out of stock? Really? After 'processing' my order? To be fair I was offered an 'upgrade' to an older (more expensive) model. And yes, I did receive a refund promptly, but what do I review???

They advertise items they don't have in stock. Delivery took ages!

It took two weeks to tell me you actually didn’t have the item in stock. I’ve had no washing machine for 10 days now and it’s getting really annoying. Some sort of compensation would really be appreciated. Maybe you could refund the delivery charge?

Not a great experience. I tried to buy a £630 dishwasher and ended up cancelling because of delays and poor communication. I sent an email with an initial query. No one responded. Then I received an automated email saying someone would be in touch to arranged delivery in 3-5 working days. No one contacted me. I rang to chase up several times and after 10 days was given a delivery date that didn’t work for me. But because everything was going through a third-party supplier, the hassle of trying to change it made me give up and ask for a refund. On a positive note my refund was processed quickly.

I was surprised at how quickly the product arrived as it was from NI but then discovered that I could not register the product guarantee as the documentation enclosed was only valid in the Republic of Ireland and NI. I had to contact Miele direct and they asked me to submit the Model number, Seriel number and a copy of the receipt. That was over a week ago and I have not yet had confirmation.

Hi Charles, See below extract from Miele warranty details. "II. Guarantee conditions This guarantee will only apply where: 1. The machine is purchased from an authorised specialist retailer or directly from Miele in either an EU member state, Switzerland or Norway, and is installed within one of these countries. 2. Proof of guarantee (invoice or completed guarantee form) is produced at the request of the service technician" So not to worry, your guarantee is valid and will be confirmed by Miele. Product arrived fine, waiting for delivery was not so good. First a delay of a week on when it could be shipped. Driver went away the first time because bell didn't work (he called once and then his phone was off for the next 2.5 hours so I couldn't call him back). Second delivery attempt, driver left a note outside the door and I received no call (he said he called and their was a network error?), third attempt they called me around 6am!

Price was good, promised to deliver the following day (Friday) so had old integrated fridge taken out and food in cool bags ready for the new fridge. I called them at 3.30pm on the Friday and they said that it was not out for delivery and could not give me a reason why. Then said it would not be out until the Tuesday! What made it worse is that the owner got one of the office girls to call me back with the news as he didn't have the courage to do so himself. They did not even follow up, bad service. Next time I will pay a little more and go to a reputable company.

The purchase transaction went through quick and efficient ‘how ever we were going away when it arrived ‘on our return used the product ‘and was very disappointed as the vacuum when fully charged only lasted 6minutes on full power’this was not acceptable ‘so my husband rang your company and was told to ring dyson ‘’as we were not happy with product and it was brought from your company ‘I am sure it is up to you to offer refund .i am looking into this to find out ‘and I will be contacting you ‘I did not feel this was good customer service ,

Good online deals and initial customer contact let down by very unreliable and inconsistent delivery experience. I ordered two high end appliances. I was quickly informed by Donaghy customer service that one item was out of stock and would take about 10 days to be delivered, which was not a big deal. It arrived then at the promised time but, after banging violently on my door before noticing the rather obvious doorbell, the very rude delivery driver dumped the large double oven, still on a pallet, on the street outside my house and drove off. I am doing a major house renovation and have had literally hundreds of deliveries in the past weeks and months - this was by far the worst. Meanwhile the other item, an integrated dishwasher, which was supposed to be shipped immediately actually arrived later than the oven, more than two weeks after I ordered it, though I received no delivery information until the day before it arrived. At least they de palletised that item and brought it into my house. Anyway, after getting small change from two grand for two appliances and then having those delivery experiences, it's safe to say that I won't be using Donaghey Bros ever again despite being Irish myself...

The vacume was fine However we were let down by delivery....we were assured that the machine woukd be arriving in tine for a trip to relatives for which this was to be a present... It did not arrive and we had to leave empty handed and have since delivered it ourselves....very unhappy

Initially I had an excellent experience and rated you very good. Very quick delivery just before Christmas, within 2 days of my order. I now find that the item has been reduced by £20.00 within a week of my buying it and am very disappointed that you are unwilling to refund the diiference, as Dyson would have willingly done.

Not great - the range cooker we had ordered arrived with a dented front control panel. We are now having to deal with Stoves to get a replacement. Disappointing.

Im still waiting for my dryer 2 weeks after i paid for it and on your last e mail i have to wait another 2 days just to find out if its in the country and you ask me for a review on how well youve done. Finish the job first

Unfortunatley the delivery was delayed as apparently the label had fallen off the package.There could not have been any communication between the courier and Donaghy Bros as I had to chase it up myself. The product was fine when eventually received.

The sale and the delivery went through O K. The only problem was that I had no idea on what date or time it would arrive at the house. All that happened when I put the tracking number into the Parcelforce site was, Number not recognised. I had no notification from Parcelforce what date or time it was being delivered and in fact it just turned up one day when I could well have been out. Thats my only complaint.
