The price was very competitive but when I order a ceiling fan, I was told it was in stock and would be send out. 7 days later I contacted your Customer Service Department and was told your supplier was out of stock and I'd have to wait 5 weeks until back in stock. I had to get an alternative model. Your CS adviser was polite via emails but I should not have been placed in a situation where I had to re-order an alternative model. Therefore a rating of "acceptable"

Excellent product at a keen price. However delivery was very slow - over a week to travel the 100 miles from Kilrea to Downpatrick is unacceptable and uncompetitive with other on - line traders. Several phone calls to very pleasant staff member needed before parcel force finally got it here. Would make us hesitate before ordering from you again.

I ordered a hob that was in stock when I placed the order but 'apparently' had subsequently sold out! This gave the company the opportunity to offer me a replacement product. As I needed it to fit in with builders, worktop fabricators etc I had to accept. The order didn't come until the 3rd date, and was then left lent up against the outside of the back door in the dark!!! Luckily my daughter saw it in time to catch it before smashing to the floor. Who leaves a fragile product against a door that opens outwards? I am yet to use the item.

The product was very competitively priced. However the delivery using Parcel Force was disastrous. For this reason l would not order again. I asked for compensation as l had to drive for 3 hours in total to collect from a depot that was miles away ! However nothing was forthcoming.

They used a third party courier and lost control of the supply chain. When my delivery didn't arrive on the expected Friday afternoon they were unable to track it until the Monday! Then it was promised for midday but didn't arrive until 4pm. Only kerbside/pallet delivery was available and I had to make my own arrangements. All in all it was a LOT of trouble, but I am happy with my new fridge freezer. Oh - and the ice bin is missing from the freezer. So if you're getting a large appliance delivered to U.K. mainland be warned!

Product exactly as described and competitively priced. Despatched quickly. However, the delivery company used (Parcelforce) was awful and the worst I have experienced. I won't be buying anything using Parcelforce again.

After getting an estimated delivery when I phoned, I later found that the Dyson Vacuum cleaner was out of stock and established that it had in fact just been dispatched. It arrived two days later. It would have been an excellent review if I had been notified by email at each stage of the transaction. Bill R

We ordrerd a cooker hood on 8th June; it said it would be delivered in 3-5 working days. On 13th we were told it would arrive with them on 15th and be delivered by Parcelforce in 48 hours. As we were going away on 17th we asked if it could be delivered to our daughter next door instead. No problem. On 18th we had a message from her saying it had not been delivered. As she was going away on 22nd I asked her to contact Donaghy Bros to see what was going on. She rang them and they eventually rang back to say that the courier said it would not be with them in time so it would be held till they returned on July 2nd, but it would probably be 4th. On returning home she found two 'failed delivery' cards, asking us to rearrange delivery for another day. We did this on 4th and arranged delivery for 7th, as she would be at home most of the day. Lo and behold it arrived on 5th, just as she was going out.

Company did not respond to emails enquiring about delivery date for the order. They promised that courier would call on a particular day to confirm the delivery date but they did not. Waited in all afternoon for delivery on the date eventually notified but the courier failed to turn up - citing a technical fault with the delivery vehicle as the reason. Appliance eventually delivered two days later but at a much later time than promised. Only praise I can give is to the online sales team who I spoke to about the problems - they were courteous and helpful. Also rather silly that the request for this review was received over two weeks before the appliance was delivered.

Good price for Dyson upright.........Order confirmation emailed promptly..............then communication stopped? No despatch advice received?....No delivery advice received? Then........this Review Request arrived a day before the goods arrived? That's asking for trouble isn't it?

Our experience was mixed: We called Donaghy Bros to check they had stock on the product we wanted. We then asked what the delivery timeframe was and they informed us that if we placed our order that day (it was a Tuesday afternoon), it would be with us on Friday. We had originally ordered this product from another supplier but found out the day before we were supposed to receive it that they were out of stock (showing in stock online!). On learning Donaghy Bros had the product in stock and could deliver in 48 hours we proceeded to cancel our other order and placed an order with Donaghy Bros. On Thursday I hadn't received any delivery information from Donaghy Bros so rang them to find out where our order was. I was informed that somehow they hadn't processed our order so it wasn't going to come. They told me it would arrive the following week. It was a bit frustrating, but on pleading with the staff they did expedite the delivery and it arrived on the Monday instead. Well done for the good customer service in resolving the problem and getting it to us quickly, but points off for messing up the order in the first place!

I bought a tefal steam generator iron. The packaging was dreadful. The outside of the box had two dents and on opening the box, the polystyrene was broken in several places and there were 'polystyrene bobbles" all over the iron and unit. There was no damage to the machine itself but it spoilt the enjoyment of opening the package and worry that the iron might not work . I do not know if the fault is with packaging by the company or the actual delivery. I was very disappointed . I am giving an average rating because of packaging issues. Communication for order was good .
