Good communication before the order, after placing the order poor communications. Delivery cancelled twice without any valid reasons.

When I first considered buying a cooker from Donaghy Bros the response was excellent, however, I was disappointed that having bought the cooker I did not receive any response from an email enquiring whether or not the company knew of an advanced manual. This is because neither me or my wife have yet sussed out how to pre-program the oven so that a meal is cooked when we return - a major reason for selecting the cooker we purchased. I had hoped that perhaps there would be a DVD or something you could recommend.

Hi David, Thanks for your review, we really appreciate it. I'm glad you were pleased with our service. I have struggled to find the email that you have sent. It may be that you sent it via our website? We have a new website launching soon and our current website has had some changes made to it to keep it live, it may be that these changes has led to a problem with us receiving emails from the site. I will look into this, as we wouldn't want to be missing out on hearing from our customers. I have spoken with Electrolux to see if there is an advanced manual, unfortunately there isn't, they have said though that they'd be happy for you to ring them and they'd be able to help you with the programming of the Oven. Failing that, please feel free to give us a call an done of our sales guys will be more than happy to help. Thanks again, John

Hello I am unable to give any feedback as I have not yet received my Neff Hob which I am still waiting for, I have had notification that it will be delayed but wondered if you could look into when I will receive my goods, then perhaps maybe I will be able to give an overall rating. Ordered a Dyson product, delivered in 3 days and quite a bit cheaper too so no complaints there. Downside , had to set up password to login to their website to track order progress where other websites just email you parcel tracking number so you can follow delivery progress on couriers website.

Hi Suzanne, Thanks for the review, we really appreciate it. It's good to hear feedback. The current tracking system that we have in place, I would agree is not ideal. We have taken measures to improve this though, we will now be manually emailing customers their tracking details. This will be a temporary measure though as I can reveal that we have been building a brand new website that is due to launch in the next few weeks. Our new website will have a tracking system in place similar to other website like you've mentioned, so we're confident this will resolve any issues with tracking. When I ordered on 29th August online, the product was showing " in stock" and would take 2 or 3 days to deliver. As it was a bank holiday weekend for England thought that it would take a week. Still waiting though - 7th September. Also noticed that the goods have gone onto my credit card account!

The delivery was not as quick as we were led to expect from website in that it took 7 days from date of order. For us a vacuum cleaner is quite important and going a whole week without a cleaner was a test of patience.

Hi Margaret, I've checked into this for you... Our records show that delivery did indeed take 7 days. However I can see that you placed your order on Monday 17th August @ 10.26pm . We processed your order the following morning. Our site quoted 3-5 working days, (working days exclude weekend's of course) meaning that going on our quoted 3-5 working day delivery, Tuesday 25th August would be the 5th working day. I can see that you signed for your item on Monday 24th August (the 4th working day) Please let me offer my apologies If you felt our site was in any way misleading regarding delivery times. It was never our intention to, I would just like to point out that we did deliver within our quoted time frame of 3-5 working days. If you are planning any further purchases in the future, please contact me direct and I'll keep you right with prices etc. Kind regards & apologies for any confusion, John

Chose this store as they were the most competitively priced for the specific item we were looking for. Were therefore disappointed that the website did not accurately reflect stock levels in the store so we had to wait longer than expected for our delivery to be made, but could not fault John in customer services for following up the order and getting back to us. Delivery firm was poor on communication but that is not the store's fault, and driver was most helpful when he actually did turn up with the item.

We are currently addressing the problems that you had with the Delivery Company, it is always our intention that we offer a good price, but more importantly - Good Customer Service. We would hate to be let down at the last hurdle by delivery companies, so please let me offer my apologies for the lack of communication from them. Communication is vital and we'll be working hard with our delivery company to improve this. Ordering online was straightforward and delivery was within 4 working days. However delivery was made to the billing address and not to the specified delivery address as requested. The postcode on the parcel stated the specified delivery address but the actual address (road name) on the parcel was the billing address. Would have given more stars if not for this error.
