The courier used by Donaghy Bros was very unprofessional. He called me only 10 mins before his arrival and lucky my son and wife were at home. There was lack of communication between him and my son and left the freezer I the garden whilst it was raining. My wife intervened and told him to bring it inside. He refused and only when my wife said give me the trolley I will move it, that he obliged to move it inside.

The freezer was excellent but the delivery was shocking. My freezer was dumped on my drive and I was told by pallet line company that he could not bring it any further. Considering I am over 70 years of age and unable to move it I had to ask my brother who lives 15 miles away to bring a friend and carry it into my house. The delivery driver refused point blank to even bring it to my door. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE Too much health and safety rubbish no consideration for the elderly.

I have no real complaint with the store, the items were reasonably priced compared to other stores, both the items i wanted were in stock at same time. The delivery period was good. My complaint was with delivery. Firstly i was told i wd receive a call to advise a delivery slot, which didnt happen. I was told the items would be left at kerbside. Considering these were a v tall larder fridge and an upright freezer this is absurd. I said if they couldnt be put in garage they wd have to take them away. So i was told they wd b on a pallet, as if this wd solve the problem, in stead it made them too tall to get in garage. The driver didnt offer to remove them from the pallet and seemed to find my situation amusing. His unhelpfilness was nothing to do with the current Corona virus situation, as he wasnt wearing a mask, so wasnt concerned about near contact. It is just disinterest in providing any sort of helpful service. Do they leave a kettle at the kerb too? For this reason only i wdnt order from them again.

Good ordering process and quick delivery times. However, I found the delivery process confusing. Advised by Donaghy Bros that they would advise when items dispatched. This did not happen, all I got was a txt from a delivery company giving a date for delivery of something, that when I tried to track was not recognised. On phoning them they could not identify the order, where it was from or what it was. Only one one item due, but on further checking found the other item due for delivery in 24 hours, without any advance notice. Additionally, on arrival and checking the items found the stainless steel hob had been scratched by a burner plate not secured properly. Complained to Donaghy Bros, but as the item was due to be fitted the following day I asked for the consideration of a reduction in price. This was refused, stated that they would only replace but did not have the same item in stock or a date for any new stock. Not the best for customer relations

Price was very competitive, but delivery timescale was very poor. Had to chase the delivery company and make numerous telephone calls.

Slow to respond to my problem and unhelpful. Pure Cool fan costing £460 is not fit for purpose and company is not flexible regarding return. Even Dyson allows returns, especially as I thought the fan was malfunctioning, And so contacted Dyson first which wasted time. Would never buy from Donaghy again.

I was very happy with the fast delivery. But I had to call Customer Service because I had a problem with the product and the person on the phone was very rude. I was not angry at any point, I was just making an inquiry and the guy almost shouted at me. I had to ask him to please tone down. In the end he helped me with my question and solved the problem, but two stars down for how he treated me at the start of the call.

I’m very pleased with this product, fast delivery etc but my one criticism is about the website it wasn’t very user friendly seem quite dated.

I placed an order for a carry cot and had to phone the company to get an estimated delivery date. They were very polite and helpful, but I had to cancel my order because they couldn’t guarantee delivery for over a month. They sent me an email stating that they have refunded my money.

The packaging was very inadequate, the box the iron was in was torn and very bent and I was surprised that the iron seemed intact. However the iron arrived relatively quickly considering it came from NI and I live in Surrey with the current Covid situation. Also Donaghy offered a competitive price.

I ordered the canopy based on the fact that NI deliveries were 1-2 days. It wasn’t until I checked why I hadn’t received the item I was told it was not in stock and then a second message said it will be mid March before I can expect it. The guys were very pleasant in their messages but if this had been highlighted at the point of sale I probably wouldn’t have ordered it. Delivery from mainland was about a week so I could have waited that long if I had known. To be honest the main reason I didn’t cancel was the fact that I like to support local businesses if I can and I bought all the appliances for my house about 7 years ago from Donaghys and they we super to deal with. Plus I travel a lot with work so getting time to sit down to cancel and order from someone else was too much of an inconvenience. I’m slightly disappointed at how this has went and there hasn’t been any offer to compensate in anyway. I’m putting it down to one of those things - but perhaps it’s something that could be looked at in terms of the website.

Delivered on time and good communications regarding delivery date and time but there is a step up to our ground floor flat and it was unhelpful to refuse assistance to bring the dryer into the building.

The dryer is fine, good product at a good price, the purchase process was good too. The delivery was a little more troublesome as the wait for delivery was longer than I had expected and the 1-2 days notice of delivery was only 15 minutes. The delivery driver wasn't able to find the dryer on the lorry so returned the following day without notice. With no one home and to save longer delay I had it left in the drive to await my return. Not ideal but it worked out
