“I think ebuyer is a good site to buy from - clear and informative but I was unable to avail of free delivery because I am from Northern Ireland. So while I would recommend people to look at this site I would let friends know about the delivery charge.”

“I do not personally like having to set up an account just to buy a product. Now, having my details and not signing up for any further information, who knows where my email address will be sold to! Also, as a software trainer and designer, when setting up the account, the fields that are mandatory should be marked that they are mandatory. When I completed my address, I did not want to list my telephone number so left it blank, only to be told "not a valid phone number" - no surprise as I had left it blank. I find that sort of information farming intrusive and unnecessary from a personal point of view.”

“I have just ordered an LG G4 brown leather phone, order num 23093230. I have found your pricing to be very competitive & it is very easy to use your website but I think your top of the page statements are a little misleading (Free delivery on orders over £49.99* Order up to 11pm for next day delivery) as when first seen leads customer to believe next day delivery is free & does not state free delivery is 5 days which means a wait of a week !!”

“Site not bad, I found the product quite quickly but I had to search to find out if the printer came with ink carts. This information ought to be up front with the brief product description. Price of printer very good though.”

“The site & products are very good and deserve a much better rating, but the checkout enforces Verified by VISA, which is a terrible system and makes the entire purchase difficult. If the item ordered wasn't urgent and needed for the next day, I would simply have gone elsewhere.”

“The payment page requires javascript to be active but gives no feedback nor warning that this is the case, it just fails silently with neither a error message nor a loading icon, nothing. That's very bad UX IMO, it caused me to have to reenter my details several times as it was not apparent what the failure was. <noscript> ain't rocket science. The search on the site is very annoying, tracking down what I want seems much more difficult than it did several years ago. Some compatibility information when choosing components would be useful too. Feedback as to which items will cause a free delivery to be removed from the order and which items will prevent a next day delivery would be useful to. One gets an "!" on the order screen, but the items could have been excluded much sooner in the selection process if it was known that they'd not be available next-day. IMO the site is just good enough, the experience is quite brittle. A good example is that one needs to constantly re-select the "sort by" option as the site resets it to "relevancy" and away from "lowest price"; silly. Another good example is the price selection, who selects a band of £10 in which to purchase computing goods - there should be a range selector. Using the site one feels like you're entering a battle to get it to spit out the items that match your selection. Compare uk.pcpartpicker.com which is a relative joy to use.”

“Ebuyer use Yodel, as we all know Yodel do not delivery on time SO as long as ebuyer USE yodel I cannot recommend them, AT the end of the day service is key and the parts ordered JUST DO NOT turn up some times for days.”
