“Sold my friend a walker the brakes broke the lady in the shop tried to fix it but she couldn’t so told her to come back to get it fixed
So she had to leave the shop with an unsafe walker with no brake if she sits on it it goes flying she gets on the bus it goes up the isle to get it fixed you have to put in a complaint to there insurance company they don’t have customer service department
Disgusting treatment to a vulnerable person”
“Sold a faulty reconditioned scooter. Five months down the line and only used three times because it propels into the road when it should be stopped. Problem still not resolved by Eden. They are very helpful until they get your money”
“Wheelchair not fit for the purpose! So many problems with it . Customer service is terrible. "Why do the care staff use the brakes they shouldn't be"!!!! No refund offered they have blamed the care home. Foot plate, arm rest (a few times) and now the brakes are broken. I asked for an engineer to look when I and the care manager was there. No, they turned up and blamed the staff without speaking to any of the staff. We haven't had this wheelchair a year yet and it's been out of action more times then it's been used. Please don't go to this company , it is a waste of money and time. It's got 1 star because it hasn't got a thumbs down to give.”
“Absolutely appalling service. £3000 wheelchair admittedly mis-sold to user but company refusing return for a refund. Emails of complaint not replied to, phone calls not returned. Avoid at all costs. This company takes advantage of vulnerable elderly people. Unfortunately unable to give 0 star so 1 star is generous.”
“My mother in law bought two mobility scooters and a curved stair lift from their Selby store. They assured her that they buy everything back... three months after the stairlift was fitted (1 month of which she was in a hospice), she died.
Called them up to ask about buy back - they are not interested!!
You are better of renting one - there are companies on Ebay etc who charge approx £500 to rent for 6 months (which sadly is usually long enough for your loved one). If they are still here after 6 months, you can pay about £50 per month for extended rental.
***In short do not BUY a stair lift from this company or any company - rent it, which is far cheaper and no headache when you loved one dies***”
“My mum bought a scooter and a recliner from Eden Mobility. My mum sadly past away only having those less than a week. Went into my local store to ask about a refund, I was told their headquarters would contact me, they never phoned back. They are good at taking your money, but their customer service is SHOCKING!. I would never recommend this company to anyone”
“Sold me dad a £3500 stairlift 4 weeks before he died now offering to buy it back for £300. Absolutely disgusted and appalled by their bland profiteering”
“Poor sales more interested in making profit from vulnerable customers, selling unsuitable products for the intended evoironment where they are used.
Wouldn’t touch them with a barge pole in future.”
