“Clean, nicely decorated and homely flat situated just minutes from shops/pubs/takeaways. The bus stop is also just at the end of the road so ideal for travelling into the city. Would stay here again.”

“Very comfortable accommodation with good facilities. Lack of a blind on the velux in the twin room was the only problem (see earlier review), although the children put up a blanket which solved that for our stay. A fuse went while we were there and that was sorted out immediately by the friendly and helpful owners. You are provided with milk, biscuits, tea bags etc, plus a bottle of wine, which is very welcome if you want to take a break after a long drive getting there. Parking on the street is also straightforward.
The city is within walking distance (if you have more time try the attractive river 'Waters of Leith Walk') and the buses were also very convenient and easy.”

Frequent buses up to town but nice to walk it if you've got the legs (about 35mins)
Shared areas a bit shabby as always but entering the flat is like arriving at an oasis - bright, clean and airy with a great view over the water”
“The apartment was really great, located in the centre of the old town with all of the festival in walking distance. Lots of decent Restaurants and cafes on the doorstep.Very well equipped and spacious, and a friendly helpful landlord - a great choice all round!”
“Had a great stay,beautifull flat with a brilliant view of the converted docks - so relaxing.Flat had everything we needed and had a warmth too it.So handy for buses up town and a small walk to ocean terminal.Some nice frindly pubs and restaurants a couple of minutes away.Had a great weak and the weather was perfect.Would definately use the same flat next year for the festival if we can. “Wir waren 4 Tage in der Wohnung. Die Wohnung war völlig ausreichend für 4 Tage. Mit dem Bus der aller 2 min richtung City fuhr sind wir sehr gut zurecht gekommen und waren in 20min Mittem im Geschehen von Edinburgh. Zur Erholung dann morgens oder Abends direkt am Strand zu sein war fantastisch.
Ich würde direkt wieder buchen. Die Betreuung hätte auch nicht besser sein können!”
“Our stay on the boatel couldn't have been much better - it's so central that we were able to walk nearly everywhere or catch a bus from a couple of hundred yards away. There are so many 'facilities' on board that we only used a small proportion of them - the massage chair was very welcome after a day of wandering around watching Fringe shows and I really should have tried the foot-spa but just ran out of time. The smaller kids loved the bunkbeds - my 12yr old just fitted in the larger one - and my teenage son really enjoyed the DVD library and watched loads of them on the flat screen tv in his cabin. We could have spent the whole week on-board and not bothered with the Fringe shows and still have had a great holiday.”
“The flat is very close to the centre of the city, so you can easily walk to the Royal Mile. It is very well equipped (and everything is labeled). Small but cosy. We had a wonderful time there.”
“Service and accommodation first rate. Staff were more than just helpful as they even offered to store bags after checkout so that we could attend festival shows. Everything worked perfectly. “This flat was the ideal solution for our one-week stay in Edinburgh. It is situated in a pleasant, quiet district with nice surroundings, easy access to shops, restaurants and buses to town. Walking distance to centre approx. half an hour. The flat is light, airy and very well-equipped with great dining area in the bay window.”

“The flat has been refurbished to a high standard and is bright and airy. It is not in a central location, but the area is pleasant and quiet and there is a good bus service every half hour to the city centre; journey time 10 minutes. On street parking available. The landlord is very obliging.”
