“We travelled up from the south to spend a few days in Edinburgh and didn't know what to expect of the accomodation and we were late arriving. But we had a very warm reception from the owner who showed us the apartment and what a delightful and spacious ground floor apartment it was. Everthing we required from fully equiped kitchen, two large bedrooms and an enormous wood pannelled, high ceiling lounge. Our stay was so comfortable and luxurious surrounded by art and arrangments of flowers we had to force ourselves to leave and explore the city. Charlotte Square was in easy reach and a bus stop outside the terrace provided alternative access to the city centre. I can't praise the accomodation enough, situated in a glorious terrace off the main road and excellent value. We will certainly be returning.”
“Beautiful house and very spacious. Although parking is at a premium two small vehicles can be parked in front of an adjacent garage. Well worth a second visit as it is also within walking distance of Edinburgh.”
“Delighted with our stay in the flat, which was warm, comfortable, spacious, tastefully decorated and fitted out to the highest specifications. It made an ideal base for our explorations of Edinburgh and its surroundings. Looking forward to returning!”
“Myself and some colleagues stayed in this flat whilst attending a conference at the Puma Carlton and Raddison Blu. It was well located, a short walk from the action, but on a quiet street.
Inside the flat is clean, comfortable, very spacious and incredibly well equipped (especially the kitchen). It was like having a home from home.
It is also worth mentioning that the bedrooms have decent thick curtains which actually keep out the light - very useful as we were staying during summer solstice!
I would recommend this flat to anyone planning a trip to Edinburgh. For the price it was extremely good value.”
“This flat was immaculate and in a good location with excellent transport links even though most attractions are within walking distant. The landlord was very accommodating with arrival and departure times. Quite a large deposit was required but as this is returned it does not present too much hassle.”
“Fantastic apartment, ideally situated in the city centre. It was very well styled and decorated giving a nice homely feeling, the apartment included all amenities needed. The only one negative point I would add was that a few more mirrors or a full mirror would have been ideal. But all in all fantastically priced, welcoming, lovely apartment.”
“We recently stayed in this New Town apartment and really couldn't fault the apartment or the service we received. Throughout the booking process I found the landlord to be helpful and understanding in respect of my enquiries. Our meeter was equally helpful both in the run up to our stay, and when we arrived at the apartment to collect the keys.
The apartment itself is modern, spacious and well equipped - the photos online really don't do it justice! The apartment is also in a really good location, close to Broughton Street and only a 20-30 minute walk to Prices St/The Royal Mile.
we would definitely recommend this apartment!”
“What a great location! I initially planned to stay in a hotel but found this to be cheaper with all the extras. By the posted pictures I expected it to be smaller. When I met with Jane and she showed me around I was amazed. Large rooms, great living room with a fireplace and views. Kitchen had everything and stores and restaurants on the street below. Thank you Jane! If I get back to Edinburgh I will stay here again.”
“Highly recommend this flat. Tastefully decorated, new kitchen and bathroom. Cozy and relaxing space. Sweet little garden area. We would definitely stay here again. The pub next door is full of friendly people when you just need a pint at the end of the day.”
“We were a group of 7 adults and this flat was ideal. It was plenty big enough, clean and in a perfect location - just off Princes street. I would definitely stay again.”
“I found this house very well equiped and everything anyone would need. It was clean, and it was brilliant to have our welcome pack containing Milk, bread, coffee/tea there when we arrived after a long journey rather than having to wait until we got to a shop. I would certainly stay there again.”
“We enjoyed our short stay in this flat very much. How nice to be able to view the castle from one side of the flat and Arthur's seat from the other!
Thanks for putting the cot for our 2-year-old into the double bedroom, he slept very well in it. And great that the flat is equipped with all those car-toys, he was delighted!”
“Location: Handily situated with easy access to buses and trains to the centre, and by car to the countryside and the east side of the city. But driving in city centre ... !!!!!
Interior gave the impression of a 'lived-in' flat rather than a soulless aparthotel type of accommodation. Very much to our liking, Equipment plentiful and comfortable. Kitchen - all that could be asked. Being a ground floor flat, very convenient for less-than-mobile nonagenarians”
“The apartment is very well located - within walking distance of Princes Street, and there is a good bus service. There are nearby supermarkets which makes picking up those everyday groceries convenient, with the added advantage it can be done on foot.
The apartment itself is nicely furnished, lovely and light and homely. Everything is provided that is required for a comfortable stay.
Edinburgh Flats provided an efficient service and Angie, the greeter, was also at the end of the phone if any further assistance was needed after checking in.”
“Good jogging along the Water of Leith walkway. Excellent seafood restaurants and pubs in short walking distance. Regular buses to Edinburgh from just round corner. Free parking. Wifi. Nearby Tesco means self catering is easy. Well equipped kitchen.”
