“The flat was very well equipped with all mod-cons required for a comfortable stay. The welcome was very warm. There was plenty of room for all the family. There is a bus stop directly opposite the front door which takes you into the centre of Edinburgh in approx 5 mins. There is a selection of local shops, takeaways and pubs within easy reach. Murrayfield stadium is around the corner from the flat (although we did not go there ourselves). Landlord supplied excellent information regarding the flat, local area and events (we stayed during the fringe festival). The only minor problem was slight traffic noise as the property is on a main road. Really enjoyed our stay in Edinburgh and the flat was a welcome break at the end of very hectic days!”
“If you don`t have a car you will need to be up for a10- 15 minute walk to the bus stop where the buses are frequent and nearly all go to Princes St.
The house is well presented and clean with all you need for a comfortable stay . It is in a very quiet residential spot and I would use it again.”
“Conveniently located in the beautiful Dean Village and close to river walk, Princes St, Charlotte Sq etc.
Well appointed 3 bed apartment on the ground floor of the old school building - but there are lots of stairs within (the flat is on 3 levels)so may not suit everyone!”
“Good location - owner very polite and helpful when he met us with good contact before we went - everything we needed was in the apartment - now considering staying again next year.”
“This was an excellent find especially for during the festival. Excellent location near to plenty of bus routes into the city centre an located near to plenty of shops and restaurants. The flat it's self was impeccably clean and comfortable for four people, having all the facilities we required for the weeks stay. I would happily rent this flat again.”
“The keys of the flat was in a little box in the main door of the buliding so we could access at night the first day entering a code that the patron gave us by mail. We didn't pay any damages deposit. Everything were clean and the flat is very quiet.”
“A very comfortable, convenient, extremely well-equipped modern flat with high quality fittings, about a 10-15 minute easy walk from the Royal Mile. An excellent base for a visit to the Festival or to Edinburgh at any time. Large Sainsbury's, Marks and Spencer outlet shop and TK Maxx nearby and a taxi back from most Festival venues costs around £5. Bus stop just around corner too.
Welcome pack included all essentials plus luxuries like chocolates and beer, extra bedding and towels were readily supplied for further guests and the washing machine and dishwasher made easy work of housekeeping duties. 2 bathrooms mean no disputes when 5 people stay.
Only 2 low points, first being the allocated parking space, so small that guidance is needed and wing mirrors need folding back before entering it. Second, although the shower itself is efficient, the very small tray is almost triangular, with an inward folding door, so even the size 10 member of our party was unable to move about once inside the cubicle.
All 5 friends staying in the flat during this Festival period agreed we would recommend it to others and would happily use it again.”
“This was a lovely apartment, roomy, clean, modern and well appointed as described, with a handy Sainsburys shop and cash machine 2 minutes away. The buses into the city and dock area were very frequent and reasonably priced for a day ticket. Also it was a short drive to Portobello beach for some fresh air.”
“The flat is well equipped and we had everything we needed for a four night 'Fringe' stay (we were not in a great deal!) The central location was a big plus. There were six of us which was fine. We felt that it would be a bit cramped for eight. Glyn was very pleasant and helpful. All in all we had a great stay.”
“Thank you for providing two bedroom house in Edinburgh. We enjoyed the great city and the festival.
Short walk to the house from the bus stop for Airlink coach from the Airport. Close to the banks, shops, resturants and buses.
Landlord are friendly and helpful”
“Arrived at this flat on the Thursday and was greeted by the lovely landlords who are very friendly and helpful. The flat itself is really nice with everything you need for short stay. Extra touches like leaving tea, milk and biscuits were very thoughtful. The flat is situated just off Leith Walk and it's a short walk from town so very convienient! Don't have any complaints about my stay and would happily stay there again. Special thanks for letting us both stay and for the lift to the bus station!”
“We really enjoyed our stay at this flat. It is very close to shops, cafes, restaurants and local/night bus services but remains quiet due to been located at the back of the building. West End within easy walking distance.”
“Very comfortable 2 bedroom mews cottage in a quiet central location with lots of restaurants within 100yds of the front door. Can highly recommend this well equipped property and hope to stay there again.”
“We had a wonderful stay at this flat which had all of the conveniences that one could wish for when taking a break in Edinburgh. The closeness of Princess street & Arthurs seat meant that one could choose the kind of short break that one wanted; hitting the bar & restaurant filled high streets or enjoying the breathtaking view from the top of Arthurs seat. Angie was always available to answer any questions & sort out any problems. This flat was a perfect base for exploring the Edinburgh fringe as well as the surrounding areas. If I had one complaint (& it’s not even a complaint really) it would be that I couldn’t get the WiFi working, but this was not such a big deal.”
“The apartment is small, but very nice and cosy. The location is very convenient, being just some ten minutes from the Royal Mile, and very close to a department store. The owners are very kind, and always ready and willing to help.”
“We stayed there for 3 nights, like it and feel here like at home. It's very nice flat situated in the center with a view to Firth of Forth. Is easy to get to the tourist attractions in city by bus - bus stop is really close. Big shopping center is also close / 5 minutes walk.”
“This 3 bedroomed flat was very spacious with large bedrooms. It was very well kept with wonderful views of King Arthurs Seat.It was a 20 minute walk to the middle of the Royal Mile. Would recommend this flat to anyone.”
“Well appointment apartment in great location for anyone looking to explore Edinburgh. Very close to the centre while at the same time offering free parking & a number of lovely walks along canals & other wooded tracks. We enjoyed our stay hugely.”
