Very central location, easily accessible from the train stations. The apartment had exactly what we needed for a short break, including a travel cot. Definitely recommend.

Great location near bus stop to get easily to the sights and round corner to Tesco. Really quiet spot. Great double bed and kids slept fine on the sofa bed. Helpful support from Lorna and Mandy who rent it out. Good wifi. Easy to get to station on foot or bus.

Alll the mod cons, about 20 minute walk from centre of town but with shops for supplies near by. Unfortunately there was a horrible rotten egg smell in the kitchen which was either coming from the fridge or behind it...apart from that it was a nice apartment. swimming pool and sauna was nice but the gym is not really a gym as not in working order.

We enjoyed staying in this well-equipped flat in Leith. A visiting grand-child enjoyed the view of the ducks from the living room window. We all enjoyed proximity to eating places in Leith, and also easy public transport into central Edinburgh. And we appreciated the abundance of free parking close to the flat. One quibble: the flat was freezing cold when we arrived, admittedly on a very cold day in April.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this flat and would definitely stay here again. It's lovely and very spacious. It's close to several wonderul shops and an amazing deli. The owner was very communicative and bent over backwards to help us before, during and after our stay. The only drawbacks we found were that it's located directly above a Pizza Hut. The aroma would waft upstairs and was too tempting to resist on several nights. Perhaps you're stronger than we were, but this could cause a problem if you're watching what you eat. Also, there were dog hairs in the flat. Although we didn't bring a dog, we're used to this fact of dog life. If you are sensitive to dog fur you might think twice.

Located in a cul-de-sac, assuring a quiet stay, the flat is clean and newly renovated. Shops and pubs are available at short distance. The kitchen is well equipped and a good quality internet connection is available. The only little drawback is if having a car, spaces are only available to Edinburgh residents, it has to be parked a little distance away (about 1km).

This extremely spacious apartment has a wonderful southfacing lounge with bay window. The dining kitchen is well equipped, and the flat is cosy. Bedrooms are large and comfortable, and the situation peaceful. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, either towards Princes Street or nearby Stockbridge. Even closer at hand is Waitrose. There is a wide choice of frequent buses, and Haymarket station is less than 15 minute walk away. The owner is helpful and attentive, even welcoming us with vases filled with flowers. This was an excellent choice for our family with three teenagers, and we would readily stay here again.

Very central location next to the bus stop to the airport and near from the bus and train stations as well (10 min in normal walking). There are food shops very close. The flat is very comfortable and well heated. It's quiet (this is a pedestrian street) although we could hear the seagulls in the morning. It's very pleasant to come back here after a good day of walking and sightseeing.

Good things: - perfect location for most sights and amenities - amazing views from the flat - very well equipped, stylish design and spacious living area Bad things: - the window blinds let nearly all light through, so hard to sleep past 6am; also, the flat gets very hot unless all windows wide open - with windows wide open it gets very noisy; supermarket delivery van from 7am every day, also noise from nearby building site

Stylishly decorated throughout, with good amenities. Clean and comfortable. Convenient location, less than a mile from Waverley station and near cafes, supermarkets and bus routes. Need to be reasonably fit to cope with stairs and hills.

This flat is in a great location right beneath the castle so brilliant for sight seeing and getting around using public transport. The entrance hall is a bit off putting when you first arrive, but the flat is comfortable and well equipped for a short break and had all bed linen, towels, loo roll, soap etc. Also had lots of family friendly restaurants and supermarket near by. Thank you very much Glyn.

Highly recommended, a beautiful old style apartment, huge dining room with high ceilings, huge bay window, large dining table would seat 8. Big comfortable sofas and a wood burning stove, the lounge is definitely the star! Well appointed kitchen, quality appliances, large larder fridge freezer, dual cooker, dish washer. Single bathroom, bath, electric shower (slightly disappointing) toilet, not massive but quite functional. Bedrooms well furnished one double and one twin beds. Very comfortable with quality linen and towels, quiet and shutters in all rooms. Parking (not mentioned in the advertisement) is in the next street, 5 minutes walk away, although for 2 cars. Location is good, 15 minutes walk to Centre of down and easy drive to the airport. Decent supermarket 2 minutes walk and good cafe at the bottom of Coates Gardens. Ignore the recommended Italian though, lousy food and very expensive! Overall a lovely place to stay. Would definitely go back

Very friendly welcome from Nina. Beautiful quiet building in a central location, walkable from city centre. Very spacious bright living room. Could be done with a lick of paint throughout but very good value and would certainly stay there again.
