Flexible and helpful arrangements for entry/departure. Comfortable beds, high standard of linen/towels. Modern kitchen appliances/ample crockery/dishwasher/flatscreen tv, wifi. Better value and added freedom compared with any hotel option for a large party.

This flat was perfect for us. It was clean, modern, and spacious - the owner was very helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! We'll be coming back next time we're in Scotland!

We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning before too long. The flat is up 4 flights of stairs, which will not suit everyone, but it is cosy and well appointed. Communication with the owner was great and the milk in the fridge and Kit Kats waiting for us were a lovely touch.

We had 3 nights in this flat. Right in the heart f the Royal mile - so close to everything. The flat was well set up and had god showers too! We were very comfortable. Would recommend to everyone who can negotiate steps (no lift and on fourth floor).

A thoroughly excellent 1 bedroom apartment which is comprehensively equipped to a high standard. Location is ideal, with bus services, shops, restaurants and the like only a few minute's walk. A huge bonus, too, is the ample free parking! I would certainly strongly recommend this apartment - and would definitely stay there again.

The flat is excellent and so well-located in central Edinburgh ! It is really nice to live in the very centre of the city, facing the castle and with pubs in Rose street itself. The flat is confortable, modern and prettyu with wooden floors. Do not hesitate !

This very comfortable 1 bedroom flat in Newington is very well positioned for travelling into town. It also has a very pleasant outlook over Arthur Seat. The decor is clean and bright and this flat is well equipped in all rooms. Holyrood Palace is walkable through the park. We would recommend this flat to our friends.

We have just enjoy a superb week in this comfortable well equipped flat. It's in a fantastic location close to all central amenities with supermarkets and restaurants on the doorstep. A short stroll to Hollyrood park and yet peaceful. Sun floods in through the windows making it warm bright and airy! Don't hesitate - get it booked.

The apartment was a good as the pictures. We were shown all necessry details about apppliances etc we were suprised by the quality and cleanliness of the place. It was excellent value fro six people and a taxi into Edinburgh town centre was around £10 cheaoer than the bus. I would defnately stay again and recommendthe aprtment to friend and familyh.

We spent a lovely three nights in the flat in March 2013. The flat is beautiful and in a wonderful location. The service you receive is second to none and we look forward to staying here again on our next trip to Edinburgh.

We had a very enjoyable stay in this flat. It is a stones throw from the city centre but in a beautiful, quiet street. Walking distance to both the city and the botanical gardens (which are well worth a visit). The flat is really nicely decorated and clean. We had 2 small children with us and it suited us perfectly. The only down side was the storage heaters and rattly sash windows..... but the electric heater sorted it out so that we were never cold. We will stay again....

Went up to Edinburgh first weekend of May, 3 of us stayed at the flat, met by Stephen the owner, he was extremely helpful and friendly, the flat perfect in every way. Location brilliant just a 15 minute stroll into the old town and castle. Would recommend highly.

We loved this flat. It was nicely appointed, bright, warm, and well-appointed. The location is absolutely perfect. We had planned on buying bus passes, but found we did not need them due to the central location. The people involved with the rental were helpful and friendly. We plan on staying here again and highly recommend it.

Good, comfortable, well-equipped flat, located close to city centre. We found wifi slow but this may have improved. Log fire a bonus.

Spacious lovely flat in great location with all the mod cons. We've been travelling the UK and this was one of the best places we've stayed in! The bed was really comfortable. Highly recommended!

We stayed at this 1 bed flat in early May '13. Initially we thought it was further from the centre than we wanted but in fact you can walk to Princes St in 20 minutes and the buses in nearby South Clerk St are very plentiful. You can also easily walk to Tollcross through the pleasant Meadows in about 20-30 minutes. The flat is on the 3rd floor but not a difficult climb at all for an able-bodied person. The views of Arthur's Seat and Salisbury Crags from the living room are spectacular and make you want to get out and climb 'em. Actually the walk to the very top takes about 30 minutes, well worth it as you get a 360 deg view of Edinburgh and even on a dull day you can see Fife and East Lothian easily. Gillian and Alistair have done everything (and more) to make visitors welcome and the attention to detail is fantastic. We shall be back!
