What a beautiful apartment. I felt so at home here. I had everything I needed, and most importantly... sharp kitchen knives! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a cozy place to stay with tonnes of space and a really comfy couch :)

I highly recommend this apartment in picturesque Dean Village. Close to the city centre and situated beside the river with beautiful walks on all sides. The facillities are excellent and the lovely ambience added to our enjoyable stay in Edinburgh.

This is a lovely apartment that combines the charm of old Edinburgh with the convenience, comfort and cleanliness of a thoroughly modern, stylish and superbly appointed open plan apartment. The kitchen is modern and spacious with top-notch appliances. The furniture is really comfortable. A short walk to the middle of Edinburgh (no need to use the car at all), close to the festival theatre. We loved it!

The flat is a spacious, modern flat within walking distance of all the main tourist attractions and the fabulous city centre. It has all mod cons and a very luxurious feel. The bed is enormous and furnishings are of an extremely high quality. You certainly won't be disappointed with your stay.

We had a great weekend in Edinburgh. The accommodation was first rate. It was very clean, warm and very well equipped. The owner was very friendly and very hospitable. Location very good. Will rent again.

The flat was everything we wanted. Everything was as advertised. The four of us staying there could not have asked for anything more. It was the perfect choice for a week stay in central Edinburgh. I highly recommend it and would stay there again.

Excellent base for a stay in Edinburgh. Walking distance from main sights & just off bus route if needed. Flat has 'wow' factor - imaginative conversion of former school. Comfortable & well equipped. Tucked back from main road yet supermarket, shops etc just across the road. Will use again.

This is a lovely cottage which is well maintained with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay inc plenty of storage for all our own things. We quickly felt at home not least because of the warm but not overwhelming welcome from the owners. There are great coffee shops, bars, restaurants and a supermarket on the door step as well as handy bus stops to take you into city centre and beyond. The Shore is a lovely historic location and on lazy or rainy days there is plenty to do round about inc 5 min walk to Ocean Terminal. I almost wish the weather had not been so kind so we could have just stayed home at Timber Bush, curled up on the sofas, watching films and reading, but maybe we will get to do that next time? We will certainly be going back! Thank you, Janet for introducing us to Margaret, Bill and Timber Bush!

This Apartment is a little gem, recently stayed there for a weekend with my family (5 Adults and a baby) and I have to say it totally exceeded all my expectations. It's situated in the perfect location for exploring the City/Castle and other tourist bits, with the added bonus of being surrounded by good restaurants and pubs. The Apartment itself was well equipped, clean and very comfortable. All in all we had a fantastic weekend in Edinburgh and staying at this place played a large part in helping us achieve that.

We were delighted with both the flat and its location. The flat is warm, comfortable and tastefully decorated. There was an excellent welcome pack of milk ,butter, bread etc. the kitchen was well equipped with plenty of plates and cutlery and all you would need. There is also a splendid garden by the river. Dean Village is a real secret haven, only yards from the bustle of the city. It is not only a delightful spot in itself but an ideal base for exploring the city. We were delighted with it.

I was staying in Edinburgh with a friend for a weekend of shopping, sightseeing, eating and other girly treats and Davie Street was a perfect location for us. We were close to Holyrood, the Royal Mile, the castle and Grassmarket and a short taxi ride to and from Waverley station. We loved the fact it was an old Victorian school (you enter through the "Juveniles" door) and it had been very sympathetically restored with high windows, ceilings and natural light. This gave it an extra feeling of space. It was extremely modern inside with a lovely kitchen and all mod cons. We had chosen to eat out apart from breakfast time and there were two Tesco supermarkets within a 5 minute walk plus a 24 hour (I think) CO-OP only a little further down the main road for our food shopping. There were a number of local restaurants, also within a very short walk, and we ate at an Italian one night when we were too tired to go into the heart of the city. I would certainly go back and would be happy to recommend it to anyone.

Great location. Thought it would be far out but only a 10 min walk to Princess Street and easy access to the Grassmarket as well. Clean modern accommodation with all mod cons in a nice quiet area.

Lovely flat situated just outside Edinburgh city centre. We were a party of twelve who used the flat as a base for a weekend in Edinburgh. Ronnie the host was superb; very welcoming and allowed us to feel right at home.  The flat was spotless and the furnishing was to a high standard. There are lots of amenities in the local vicinity, including cosy pubs and convenience stores.  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back in the future. Thank your for a brilliant weekend.

Unlike others we have stayed in, this flat was clean, comfortable with all fixtures and fittings to a high specification. The flat was light and airy and during a cold werkend was lovely and warm. The location is excellent and suited our purposes. The flat is not suitable for those who struggle to walk as it is situated on the third floor of a traditional building with no lift. We would definitely stay again.

We had a very nice time at this lovely groundfloor flat. Everything was to a high standard (salmon and wine in the fridge! that was so nice!). The location was great, very close to the meadows. We were lucky with the weather and were able to sit in the a little private garden (in February!). We definitely recommend this flat!
