“We had a great stay here over Christmas while visiting our son who is on fellowship at the Univ. The flat was spacious, top quality, very comfortable and worked well for our family! Its location is wonderful, although the noise from the street in the wee hours is a minor detractor. (people leaving bars and the trash collection) We would have liked to have laundry detergent provided. The only major problem we had was the outside key to the building door was VERY difficult to operate. A few times we spent several mins. trying to get in. All in all, we would stay here again!”
“Ideal centrally located very nice apartment just behind Princess Street, containing everything you could possibly need (even the very comfortable extra beds we requested). The owner couldn't have been more helpful from making the initial booking to helping with our parking arrangements over the New Year Period. We had an excellent time and would without question stay there again if we are ever up in Edinburgh in the future.”
“Stayed with my partner and another couple for 3 nights over New Years and it was the perfect base. The flat is kitted out with everything you could need for your stay (including towels which was a surprise)and is very comfortable and wonderfully decorated. It is about 15mins walk into the city center, the walk is slightly up hill but we managed easily and we aren't the fittest people!
We loved our time in Edinburgh and this great flat made it so much better, would definitely stay here again.”
“This was a lovely flat with amazing views, very clean spacious and comfortable and in a perfect location. We stayed over New Year's Eve for the Hogmany festivities. We were within easy walking distance of all of the events and numerous restaurants and bars. There is a Sainsbury around the corner for groceries. The only downside was the super expensive parking in the building (£20 per night). But I suppose you could find something cheaper if you looked around a bit more. I would definitely go back to this apartment next time we are in Edinburgh!”
“There were 6 of us staying in the flat visiting Edinburgh for Hogmanay and the New Year.
We found the flat in great condition in a prime location. Princes street, Grassmarket and the Royal Mile all within less than 10 minutes walking distance.
Glyn (the owner) was most helpful.
We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and without doubt would stay in this apartment again.”

Only one complaint: NOWHERE to hang towels/clothes in bathrooms.”
“My husband and i stayed here over hogmany with 2 friends and the flat was perfect for our purposes. So easy to get there from the airport on the bus (15 mins)and only 20 mins walk into the centre. the flat was spacious and very comfortable with everything you might possibly need. the kitchen was brilliantly equiped, lots of tv channels, free wifi. Gill met us with some lovely breakfast items on our arrival too. I would definitely recommend it and will be staying again if available on future visits to edinburgh.”

“Brian,the owner met us at the Ferguson Appartment, he made us feel very welcome and was very pleasant. The appartment was a great size and had everything you needed for a home from home stay. After our long journey it was lovely that Brian had left a welcome pack this included milk,juice, shortbreads ,chocolate, tea and coffee.
The appartment was in a fantastic position, a 10 minute walk took you right into Princes Street.
The appartment had private parking,this was great as we parked the car and forgot about it for the weekend.
We had a lovely stay and are hopeing to go back soon.”
