The location is excellent: near The Meadows, short walk to city center, Lothian bus accessibility to everywhere, but away from congestion and traffic. “First time I've been to Edinburgh, what a fantastic place to visit. I was with the wife and four children. I'm sure they will remember it for years to come. We spent 3 nights in the apartment, it was quiet and close to all the tourist attractions we wanted to visit, and there was free parking and wifi. If I was to visit again, I would probably want this apartment again as I would say it is excellent value for money.”
“Have just returned from a week's stay in this property with my family joined by French friends who travelled over from Lyon. We were all very impressed with the house and the space and resources supplied. We had quite a cold and damp stay but the cosy, warm and welcoming 'home' at the end of the day kept us very happy! Ron, the landlord, is an excellent host who was so helpful and thoughtful. If, and when, we return to Edinburgh we would definitely hope to make a return stay.”

“We booked the apartment for a conference followed by a birthday weekend and it worked perfectly. The apartment is beautiful: huge rooms, gorgeous period details and well furnished. Having two bathrooms was very useful. I love the Scottish Colourists so the prints added to the attractiveness of the place. The Welcome basket was very, erm, welcome! Also appreciated simple things like pepper mill and decent knives. Location is great, close to Stockbridge, easy walk to Princes St, Waters of Leith five minutes away. I would thoroughly recommend this apartment and suspect all the others in the building are equally good.”

“the only thing that could improve the flat would be wall mounted mirrors in the bedrooms close to an electrical socket as it would facilitate hair drying. (especially for ladies) Apart from that the flat was excellent and we enjoyed our stay”
“This apartment was even bigger and better than we thought it was going to be. it looks just like the pictures, although you can't see just how spacious the living area is in these. the owner Liz has thought of everything that you could possibly need for your stay, and had even left us milk and sugar for drinks which was very welcomed as we were arriving late in the evening.
The apartment is also perfectly located, just a two minute walk until you're on the royal mile, we didn't need to get a taxi or public transport for our whole stay.

Wonderful view of Arthur's Seat from the living room. Great to have 2 bathrooms. Free wifi was also very useful. Would definitely stay here again!”
“We loved our week at Timber Bush and would thoroughly recommend this accommodation. Margaret and Bill have thought of every comfort and we instantly felt right at home. We arrived late in the evening to find the central heating on for us so the house was lovely and cosy, and there was a very welcome bottle of wine chilling in the fridge. The lounge/dining room is comfortable and spacious, all beautifully decorated. We loved the kitchen - especially the dishwasher - a welcome addition as we were entertaining friends and family during our week's stay - who wants to waste time washing dishes on holiday?! Lovely comfy beds and good quality linens and bedding. As far as location goes Timber Bush is hard to beat - seconds walk from Sainsburys Local and Newsagents, countless bars, restaurants, bus stop for town. We can recommend King's Wark Pub and Mimi's Bakehouse to name only two. Thanks to its courtyard location Timber Bush is a haven of peace and quiet when you come inside and close the door despite this all being on your doorstep. 10 out of 10!”
“This flat is in a wonderful location just below the castle and central to the city. Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile, and other city centre attractions are nearby and the Grassmarket is just outside of the door. Don't miss the Farmers Market on Saturday's on Castle Terrace around the corner.
The flat is beautiful. It was in perfect condition, very clean, and exceptionally comfortable. We never came across the need for something that wasn't there. Lynne made us feel very welcome. We really enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return!”
