“Have just returned from a 3 night stay, a 50 year reunion with Edinburgh flat mates . We shared a flat in Morningside in the 60's.
The facilities and position of the flat are excellent but the personal care of the owner made it like staying in a private house but one with more bathrooms than home! The nearest free parking we found to the flat was a 25 minute walk away. Advise abandoning car if pos as very near bus stop.”
“Lovely, roomy flat, well equipped and comfortable, about 3 minutes' walk from Bristo Square and the heart of the Fringe. Plenty of space for visitors and props, good shower and WiFi, and clear information to hand on how everything works. Also - lovely neighbours.”
“great apartment, it was really more than i could have dreamed of for my stay in edinburgh, the view to the back over the river is amazing, the flat is comfortable and beautiful, the location is perfect. great stay!”
“A very comfortable apartment, not missing any details. The kitchen is very well equipped, after long walks was comforting to feel at home. It was an experience that we repeat. If we're lucky and we find a house like this on our vacation, we forget the hotels. My family and I have been delighted. Very close to a supermarket to buy.
Interact with the owner through e also has been easy and enjoyable. Worth it when we arrived everything was in order sy the weekend. Good luck on your trip.”
“Located off the bus lines 7, 11, 14, and 21 (thus giving easy access to the Old & New Towns), the flat is in a quiet residential area. All appliances and furnishings are to a high standard - there's nothing shabby here, though we did find the kitchen a bit cramped. The ceilings are very high and the whole place feels airy and spacious. For those with small children, there are several playparks within walking distance. The only thing that bothered us was the building's common stairwell up to the flat. It is dark and does not look well-maintained at all in comparison to the flat and building exterior, in fact it was downright scary even when the lights came on in the evening. However, the flat itself is tastefully done up: the first picture of the living room and bay window is certainly an accurate depiction of its character.”
“Everything was thought of in the very comfortable flat. The welcome basket was a pleasant surprise, also milk and fruit juice to save rushing out to the shops.
Waitrose is an easy walk, as long as you are prepared for a hill, but you are in Scotland!!!”
“Have just stayed in a lovely, clean and very well appointed flat in central Edinburgh. It was excellent, and so well equipped even down to bin bags and tin foil. I absolutely would recommend this place, it's stunning. Great location, and every need met, what more could you ask for ?????”
“Great value for money, this one bedroom flat was well outfitted with all modern appliances, very clean and comfortable. Only 100 feet from Portobello beach promenade and short bus ride to the centre of Edinburgh.”
“We had a thoroughly enjoyable few days in Edinburgh made especially so by the superb apartment. The decor and furnishings were beautiful and everywhere was immaculate! We were able to walk everywhere from this central location. Although Rose Street is a busy thoroughfare, especially on the Saturday evening, we were not disturbed as the bedroom is at the back. I would recommend this apartment to anyone!”
“Fantastic panoramic views of Edinburgh from lounge windows. Lovely touch with welcome pack. Flat was immaculate and within ten minute walking distance of Princes Street. Appreciated welcome and tour of flat. Would definitely book a stay again. Having a private parking space was definitely a plus.”
“This house was magnificent, way better than the pictures. Would highly recommend it for large families. Hopefully we will have an excuse to come back again!!!”
“This flat is lovely - cheerful, immaculate and well appointed. Everything you could possibly need and more. Bedding and towels all lovely quality and freshly laundered. Kitchen also very well equipped for proper cooking. Great shower too.
A great base for exploring Edinburgh as it's so central.”
“I don't usually take the time to write a review, but I really wanted to let people know how good 3 Randolph Crescent is:
- Fantastic central location
- Lovely friendly and helpful landlady
- Beautifully decorated and furnished
- Well equipped
- Very reasonably priced
I would not hesitate to recommend the apartment to any large group of people coming to stay in Edinburgh for a City Break.”
“I rented this flat for a period of two weeks. This is an excellent flat for elderly and people with restricted mobility. My dad uses a wheel chair because of a back problem so it was very convenient for us renting this flat which has a quick access to the building entrance. The flat has plenty of space in the living room which was excellent because we had people coming over all time. The flat has plenty of cuttlery, and electronic appliances so there is no need to bring stuff with you when you move in. The flat is in excellent condition and the neighborhood is very nice. Excellent location from city centre, train station, supermarkets and shops. I highly recommend it.”
“The apartment is wonderful. It is well equiped and modern and lovely furnished. We felt us happy and welcome in this apartment. Perfect meet and great service. Kind and nice contact with Ann who kept in touch to ask if everything is alright. Easy to go to the city. This will be our first choice for our next stay at Edinburgh. Absolutely recommended.”
“This flat is in a perfect location, in a really quiet cul de sac just off the Leith Walk and within 15 minute walk of Princes Street. Well equipped, modern and clean with good sized rooms and secure access. Private parking is right outside the door.”
“Loved staying in this flat - it's spacious, immaculately clean, nicely decorated, only 10 mins by bus into Princes Street and the Castle (buses are frequent). It's also fully stocked with basic necessities like coffee, tea, salt, pepper, cereal, shampoo, soap, hair dryer etc, plus some complimentary muffins and milk. We visited in October and the heating worked well, making it a very warm flat.
It's on the third floor, so quite a few stairs, but was very managable (and good exercise!). We didn't find it too much at all.
The owner, Derek, couldn't have been nicer or more helpful... a delightful man who went out of his way to help us.
Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.”
