“Booked to stay for 5 1/2 weeks while working in Edinburgh. Welcomed by Angie, who supplied fresh milk and biscuits. The flat was immaculate with a fully equipped kitchen, very comfy bed with soft sheets, wifi etc. It was ideally situated for work and close to the city centre too. I'm back in Edinburgh soon and would definitely stay again. It's my first time in a holiday flat, but I much prefer it than staying in a hotel.
Thanks again to Angie.”
“We stayed in this excellent apartment for 3 nights when visiting Edinburgh for the Wales 6 nations weekend. There were 4 of us.
The rooms are very large, comfortable and well furnished. The kitchen is also well equipped with a good sized dining table.
The new town on the edge of Stockbridge is a lovely part of Edinburgh to stay in. The location of the flat is extremely quiet but only 10 minutes walk into the centre of Edinburgh (George Street/Princes Street).
I would thoroughly recommend this apartment.”
“We're just back from my sister's hen weekend & had a brilliant time in this apartment. It's very spacious, clean, light & airy and has excellent facilities - washing machine, tumble dryer. The views from the rooftop terrace are amazing - would be great when the fireworks are on over the castle! Although we didn't use the pool area, it's lovely too with a small gym & sauna. The owners are very helpful & friendly too which was great. Would love to stay here again.”
“I spent a week in this flat and I could not have been happier with it. It is on a relatively quiet street that has a view of the castle and it is only about a 15 minute walk to the Royal Mile and closer to Princes Street. The TV room and the kitchen are actually separate rooms, so there is plenty of space and everything you need in a flat in the heart of Edinburgh!”
“During the last week in January and first week in February we stayed at the above apartment in Portobello. The flat was excellent, but most of all I would like to mention the service that was provided by Angie Reid and her team. We had some problems with the central heating controls and within minutes Angie and her team had solved the problem and followed up to ensure everything was OK.
We have stayed in many locations in UK and around the world and it is nice to see that someone responds to any problems that might occur, it gives you confidence to return.
Thanks
Peter”
“Very easy booking process and someone was on hand to pass on keys and explain how everything worked. Flat was large, warm and very well presented. Great value for money and i would be happy to book this flat again next time i'm in edinburgh.”
“What an amazing place! I've stayed in a number of apartments before, but none compared to this. It really is a beautiful apartment, and plenty of thought has gone into ensuring its equipped with anything you're likely to need during a city break.
The Owner/Contact is a lovely chap, and the welcome basket that greeted us was a real treat.
I will be recommeding these apartments to friends and relatives, and we will most definitely be back at some point!”
“This flat is located minutes to Morningside main street in a very quite close. It is lovely inside, sunny and with great views. It is also very close to the Braids country park so you can go for great walks!”
“We had a lovely long weekend in Edinburgh and were able to easily walk to anything central in the New Town or Royal Mile. It was fantastic to have a well stocked flat that we could come back to between adventures for down time and casual meals. Beds were comfortable, shower excellent, cleanliness good and everything you could need on a weekend away was there. Easy walk to excellent delis, cafes and restaurants. Definitely a top value option for accommodation in my all time favourite city!”
“This was a repeat visit. We enjoyed ourselves so much last year there was simply no point in looking for anywhere else. Stockbridge, with its wide range of small shops and places to eat/drink is just at the end of the next road. The centre of Edinburgh can be reached by bus from the main street in Stockbridge or by a very do-able walk. The flat is very well presented. If there is a drawback, it's that parking on the Crescent is for permit holders; but we simply unloaded our car, found a place to park it, and left it there all week.”
“Timber Bush is a fantastic little cottage, very well equipped and maintained. We took the opportunity to stay here for a change from staying with family when in Edinbrugh - we would have no hesitation in using it again.”
“Fabulous city apartment which is ideally situated on a quiet street running parallel with the main road which leads to Princes St. & the Waverley Station (approx 10 mins walk away). A supermarket, restaurants, & bus stop from which a very regular service runs to Princes St & Leith are 1-2 mins walk away & the University it's close by,. Parking is provided via an electronically controlled entry gate for added security. The apartment is very well appointed, extremely comfortable & furnished to a high standard
. We highly reccommend this apartment, having stayed there several times”
“This lovely flat in Portobello combines a stay at the seaside with easy access to all the Edinburgh attractions a short bus ride away. The flat is well stocked for self catering while there is no shortage of good local places to eat, except oddly the sea front fish 'n chip shop was not open on Satuday evening. Recommended for anyone wanting a relaxing get away with city attractions close to hand.”
“We loved this flat! It is very well-appointed (dishwasher, washing machine, well-equipped kitchen) and comfortably furnished (so rare in rental properties) with two huge sofas in the sitting room. The bed in the master bedroom is probably a standard size but seems a bit lost in the vast bedroom but this is the only very slight niggle.
The location could not be better being minutes walk from the cafes and delis of Stockbridge and a Waitrose a short drive away.
The owner is very helpful and key collection etc could not have been easier. Highly recommended.”
“We enjoyed a 2 week stay in this beautifully proportioned apartment. The facilities provided are excellent and the apartment is well situated for exploring the many sights of Edinburgh. Being situated on the 3rd floor was not a problem and allowed us to enjoy the great views South to the Pentland Hills. We can fully recommend this apartment for comfort & exploring Edinburgh.”
“We had a very good 3 days here - the flat was comfy and very spacious and the kitchen well equipped. It was cosy warm. The area was fantastic, close to the parks and situated in a great shopping street - we ate in, buying great produce from local shops. A really friendly and vibrant part of town but an easily and beautiful walk into the centre of Edinburgh through the elegant new town.”
