Very disappointed in the RBF36 dimplex revillusion. It is very noisy with a decibel level of 73-75. It blows very little heat for all the noise it makes. We have another dimplex which is very quiet and puts out more heat. Electric fireplaces plus handed us off to dimplex consumer services which after sending them videos of it running said they would send another fan motor in approx 3 months. I wish we would have checked some more of the poor reviews before we purchased. To return it is very difficult because it was a 135lb crated box on a pallet.

I recently received my fireplace from electric fireplace plus .com. I wasn’t even home when they dropped the package outside. As soon as I arrived I find that my package was damaged from one side. As soon as I notice the damaged gold I notify electric fireplace plus .com they send me an Email saying that they will send out a new one for me. Days later I get another Email saying that they WILL NOT REPLACE THE FIREPLACE! Since I signed for the package. I need electric fireplace plus to show me the ticket where it shows where I signed. I never signed for that package and now I have to eat up $1300 of my money for a piece of junk fireplace that is all damaged from the left side. If they continue to run business this way , I’m sure that sooner or later it will catch up to them and they will have to shut down business. On top of that the Fireplace I had ordered was late!!!!

Hello, I am so sorry to hear about the damage to your fireplace and the delay in getting the fireplace shipped. We did notify you via email on 8/23 the item was on backorder with an estimated ship date of 1 week. The Item then shipped on 9/9 due to a slightly longer delay from the manufacturer. The unit was delivered on 9/15 and you reported damage to us and sent photos as requested on 9/15. We then filed the claim with the freight carrier, RL Carriers. On 9/17 RL Carriers then provided documentation that the unit was signed for by “JOSE L” and was not noted of any damage at time of delivery. We relayed their rejection of the claim on 9/17 and discussed further via phone call. We sent over the signed delivery receipt, the letter from RL Carriers, and their response via email on 9/17 at 8:49 AM EST - please be sure to check the attachments. When tracking was emailed to you on 9/9 at 10:30 AM EST, it was expressed via email the critical importance of signing “PENDING INSPECTION” if unable to inspect at time of delivery. If the ticket is signed without this note, or notating damage at time of delivery, Electric Fireplaces Plus and the freight carrier will not accept responsibility for any damaged freight. Since these instructions were not followed, RL Carriers has denied the claim. We are very sorry for the news and frustration. Please reach out to us if you have any further questions. This company is a scam. They delivered damaged goods, they were late on everything. Every promise broken and the reps are rude. I’ve contacted Dimplex and am considering hiring an attorney. They’re a complete scam. They don’t help. They don’t stand behind their policies. They will just take your money. If you’re looking to burn money or get scammed give them a try. If you’re looking for a good experience, look elsewhere.

Andrew, We are sorry your item had slight cosmetic damage to the outer packaging, but we are thankful that the unit was unharmed. Freight claims can only be filed if there is damage to the unit itself, not the outer packaging as in this case. Again, thankfully the unit is in excellent condition. We also apologize our responses didn't meet your time expectations, we are closed on both Saturday and Sunday and reached out to you as soon as we heard back from our warehouse on Tuesday. The unit you purchased has a 2 year warranty, so if any issue were to occur during this period it will be covered under this. Thank you.

Great process until the product arrived. I ordered the expensive Dimplex XL and the frame is defective. My GC installed it because it wasn't noticable until after install. We pointed it out to EFP and they agreed it was defective. They sent new frame weeks later but now the construction was complete and it is going to be $$$ to get someone to redo it. They will not offer any support or compensation for the defect from Electric Fireplace Plus. They were slow to respond and told me to contact Dimplex directly. Buy from someone else!!!! Or buy another product that has better QA!

Hello Lisa, We are very sorry the frame was defective and were happy to get a replacement shipped out right away! We strive to provide best in the industry customer support and are sorry this was not your experience thus far. As per Dimplex's policy, the frame was defective and has already been taken care of through the warranty process. Also, as far as labor to replace the frame, we have provided you with Dimplex's phone number in order to contact them for labor reimbursement, since it is a defect it falls under this policy and must go through them first. This was unfortunately the worst customer support experience I've ever had. Electric Fireplaces Plus made a mistake with shipping too many tables and I had to reject the delivery because I didn't have any space to handle the 400 lb pallet they accidentally sent. The customer support agent who spoke to me was hostile, aggressive, angry, insulting, and unreasonable in yelling at me about it. I couldn't understand why he reacted in such a hostile way when their company was the one that made the mistake & I can't help that I don't have space to store their mistakenly sent pallet. I ordered the same item from another company and they were wonderful in working with me on the delivery. In addition, they still haven't refunded me for the returned table.
