“I like the clothes at elvi need more choice on line though and being a larger lady and tall as well most of your skirt, dress and trousers are not long enough maybe you could do somthing about that and i would buy more from you on line.”

“I have always liked Elvi's clothes very much and bought them for years - I only buy from Elvi. Recently the dresses seem to be more suitable for younger ladies. By this I mean much shorter, no little sleeve and much tighter cut. This does not look so good on a larger figure, old or young, so I do hope you will revert to your pretty designs of last year. I should hate to have to stop buying from Elvi, because it is so easy to buy on line. Margaret.now I cannot remember the code for the 20% off.”

“The quality of the clothes is very good. Disappointed that you do not have any shops anymore. I think the price of postage and packing if you spend less than £99, is quite high.”

“Have been happy with most items purchase with elvi either in the store (which is missed in Belfast or on line... I don't really like on line shopping as the cost of return postage makes the item more costly. Must point out some years ago I purchased a dress in the Belfast store which I still have and looks just as good now as at time of purchase.”

“I used to buy regularly from Elvi but lately the fashion element isnt there and the materials let the range down - I dont want to wear shiny polyester! On the other hand you have some excellent styles and I love my linen jacket - I get many compliments!”

“My experience with Elvi was a little better when I was a little thinner! I am now disabled and not very sleek, so I find it hard to buy clothes that fit. I am tall and need length. I am large busted, but not broad shouldered. So, most things don't fit very well. I try to choose carefully so as not to have to send things back. I recently sent back a lovely jacket that had a nip in at the back waist which sent the bottom jutting out behind me. It was big enough, but looked terrible. We don't all have big bums to match our big tops. I keep looking at Elvi, but buy there less and less. Also, much of the Elvi collection is too dressy for my needs. To increase sales, I would suggest a variety of styles that suit a variety of body types, because we can usually tell what will look well, and could make better choices. I like the Elvi quality; don't mind the price if it looks good and is made well. In fact, in plus sizes it is very hard to get anything approaching a decent quality for a sensible price, or at any price, for that matter.”

“I have been a customer of Elvi for the best part of twenty five years, mostly in your shops and latterly online. Up until about five years ago, I would not have thought of going anywhere else. Your clothes are always of excellent quality and fit and your sales second to none. But recently I have noticed a disappointing propensity towards flimsy fabrics, even in winter, and skirt linings tend to split very easily because the seam is so shallow and choice of skirts is no longer than 70cm. This has meant that my purchases have dwindled lately, to my great disappointment.. Please return to your excellent choice of quality fabrics and styles of five years ago and restore my faith in your products.”
