“Having bought from Elvi over the years I did not hesitate on buying myself a new skirt recently. Oh my, what disapointment. The new skirt was 20cm smaller on the waist than the Elvi skirt I was wearing when it arrived, albeit the supposedly same size.”

“My wardrobe is entirely Elvi, I live in Ireland, their delivery is good, though as a regular customer the £10.00 charge is steep if you forget one thing. I have just sent all of the summer pieces back. The cut is poor, the fabric cheap, the zips crude; and for what it is expensive. This is in contrast to the more formal wear and knitwear which is lovely. For me Elvi has got quality and cut badly wrong this year.”

“I bought these trousers for work but I am very disappointed with the fabric which is poor quality and provides no structure whatsoever. The finish is at best amateur with over-locking chain hung from the hem and puckered side seams. The trousers do not feature a crease, as such they look like harem trousers. All in all a very disappointed customer and a returned item I'm afraid.”

“Sadly the purchase was unsuitable and I have had to return, however although I left it at a designated point 3 days ago and have my receipt, I have yet to receive any confirmation from Elvi of receipt of the return and not yet received the refund. This is very poor.”

“The ordering and delivery system is fine. The products I compared to the Elvi products when there were stores on the high street. The quality of the clothing I ordered did not reach the standard of the original Elvi clothing, so I was very disappointed. I returned all the items on the same day they were delivered and have still not had a refund. I will not be using this company again. It is increasingly difficult to buy good quality clothing. I ordered clothing from Next and returned on the same day, I have been refunded already. Not good Elvi.”

“To be honest, loathed to use again. Sizing of item was small, was screwed up in a ball upon receipt, returned nearly 2 weeks ago, no notification or refund as yet, good job i got proof of return.”

“I have sent the 2 tops back twice, but I don't think you have reimbursed me yet. I am an 18 in Marks & Spencer but neither the 18 or the 20 fitted. The cut was all wrong. Penny Mitchell”

“I was advised the item was dispatched on 9th June and it has still not arrived. There is no tracking information and in this day and age I do not think that is acceptable when you are paying post and package. there are other companies like taking shape that offer free next day delivery yet Elvi charge for the delivery and then take ages to deliver. Not impressed”

“There was a small hole in the back of one. There was a few areas on the seam of one which were not sewn. Some of the Sequences fell off of all three. Threads were left hanging. The impression I got from these garments were that they were rejects not sale items. I own Elvi T-Shirts which were purchased in a retail outlet. Hence I purchased online. Never again. I didn't return the purchases because the trouble of doing so would be greater than the money involved. However, I will not be purchasing online from Elvi again.”

“like I put in the invoice when I returned some things back that when I worked for elvi the sizes where true to the size now you order a size three and they are more like a size one and the Faison is very old looking.”

“The clothes I brought were really nice but didn't look right on me. I have seen lots of nice clothes. Unfortunately I purchased them in the sales and it was not made clear that you had much less time to return sales items. Unlike other online retailers I shop at all the time you have to pay to return clothes as well. I have two suits worth £100 I can't wear or return. Really un-impressed. First time shopping at Elvi and based on this I would rather stick to my usual online shops.”

“I have bought many elvi clothes from the stores in the past - but I was shocked to receive such poor quality clothing..the tops are like tissue paper and they are not cut in the fashion they are normally cut in, Awful..I can't wear them at all..they still hang in the wardrobe . Inferior quality, lwould not choose them if they were free !!! I would have sent them back but I was so busy my month ran out before I got around to thinking about sending them back,, I couldn't even give them away,,the neck line doesn't seat properly very very poor quality and not the standard that evil normally sell.. I have a few tops just the same but they are far superior in quality. The material is awful .”
