Goods arrived prompt but not suitable emailed as I did not receive a returns note in my parcel still awaiting a response regards returning item

Delivery was prompt and efficient. The standard of manufacture and fabrics has declined dramatically over the years to the point where I wonder whether it's worth placing an order. There's also been a huge change from 'classic' clothing ranges in an attempt to appeal to a younger age group. That has to mean the loss of previous customers. My spending at Elvi has reduced from £100s each year to an occasional purchase, often returned. Earlier this year, I bought 2 x V neck jumpers in size 3, ordered by phone. I opened one, it was fine, so I assumed that the other would be too. When I came to open that a couple of weeks ago, I found that I'd been sent size 1 in place of size 3. Too late to send it back. The moral of the story: don't trust the company to send out what was ordered, always check!

Not very impressed with Elvi so far. Still haven't received my delivery as the courier you use requires me to be in with a signature even though as a teacher I'm at work.

Thank you for your review. The delivery service we use is signed for to protect us and our customers in case a package is lost, damaged or stolen during the delivery process. It allows us to trace and track the package, and to determine whether the order has reached its intended destination or not. We appreciate that this can have an impact on delivery time for customers who are not available to sign for the parcel but think that protecting our customers takes precedent. The jacket I ordered was very strange. I ordered a 26, which was huge, I then ordered a 24 which was still huge. The whole shape and fit was wrong

I used to buy a lot of clothes, initially from my local Newton Mearns shop, and latterly on line. I have been SO disappointed with the styles, sizes and quality for about 3 years now. I used to buy beautiful head-turning evening wear and suits for work. I'm so disappointed that now I very rarely find anything decent to buy from Elvi.

The camel coat I received was very badly packaged and looked like a dish rag when I took it out of its way too small packaging. Even after hanging it out for 5 days the creases did not drop out and I have now returned it for a refund. The red blouse was ok - packaging again not great but nice design although on the small side

I have shopped with Elvi for many years and I have found that the quality of the clothing being is sold is poor and styles are very outdated. It is no wonder that you keep going bust.

Whilst the shirt is very nice and fits well there are two point against it. Firstly the quality of workmanship was quite poor. I spent about 10 minutes removing untidy threads both on the inside and out. The biggest problem however was not apparent until I was ironing it. Thats when I noticed that both sleeves have been sewn on back to front meaning the slit and buttons are at the front. Unfortunately as I had removed the labels prior to washing, it meant that I can no longer return it. Yes I could have waited before removing them but I didn`t spot the sleeves being back to front when I got it. Not the sort of thing you generally look for when purchasing a shirt. So I now have a shirt I cant wear and will have to give to charity because I dont sew and dont want to pay someone else to put right the error. Very disappointed!

both the items I bought I returned as I was very disappointed with the fit and quality of the tops. The necks were baggy, stitching was rough, and very poor in general.

I have always found that elvi trousers fit my particular shape broad hips with a proper waist and good quality material. I was disappointed with my last purchase which were low rise and useless for any woman over size 18 which I believe to be your market. The waist gaped and my backside was barely covered. Please keep to your good cut in future.

Size description is not correct, now have to return everything and pay shipping back out of my packet , also some items material is poor quality. Most likely will not order again. Sorry, its too expensive to refund if something wrong.

When I used to go to uk a lot I loved the design and cut of a lot of the Elvi clothing. I still wear a denim jacket I purchased more than twenty years ago. However with current order, because your international postage rates are out of line with say people like Evans, I chose to have the order sent to an outpost of NZpost which bulks parcels and sends to NZ at competitive rates. I see from the invoice, not only have you charged me 3,95 for delivery in uk but in addition two pounds ninety three VAT!!!! So unless you refund the VAT, I will not purchase from you again. Although you have asked for my feedback I have still not received the order!! dispatched 28/7/15. If I were you I would take a close look at your competitors, ASOS ship for free all over the world, while orders from Evans often make uk to nz in five days.

I ordered 6 items, and four were too small. I know I fit comfortably into the size I ordered, in any other brand. Very disappointed, and means I will need to return items.

I used to love all Elvi clothes but although i am still the same size and shape as i always have been, i think the sizing has changed a lot from a few years back. The trousers are shorter in measure from crotch to waist but because i love them i will leep them. I slightly concerned at how they will be when wearing as the back waist is elasticated i feel may findmyself keeping pn having to pull them up, we'll see. The top i ordered only just fits but again think it may be too tight when sitting. I am however trying hard to lose weight so won't return them. Nice fabrics.

No complaints about service or speed of receipt of goods. My complaint is about the length of the two skirts supplied. I am 5'8" tall and for that reason didn't check the length of the items. They looked fine on the model. However, she must have been about 6 ft. tall! One skirt was 100 cm long and the other 110 cm. Elvi is supposed to be for curvy figures - not ultra tall ones. These skirts should have been on Long Tall Sally's website! Very disappointed.

The dress I ordered is very poor quality, see through material and not at all as I expected from the description or picture. I have returned it. I find that your sizes come up smaller on most items which is disappointing. Overall your quality and choice is very good.
