Nicole was my energy consultant and she did an outstanding job following up to ensure that I found a good company. I received 6 quotes and Nicole scheduled the phone consultations with the 4 companies that I was interested. I was picky about the specifications and warranties, and the first company that I chose dropped the ball, but Nicole was there to follow up. That was awesome. After several weeks, I chose a company that checked all the boxes and we'll see how the installation process goes. But one thing is for certain, I found a good company with the best price point. As a comparison, I chose a 9.6Kwh system that is fully warrantied for 30 years at a cost of $25,400. The system proposed by costco was over $60,000. I chose the IQ8 system because it is wired in parallel, so if a panel dies for any reason, the remaining panels will still produce power. With a series wired system, if one panel goes out, you will lose more than 50% of the rated power generation until the panel is replaced. I wanted the 30 year warranty for the entire system, including roof penetration warranty, hardware, and labor. I also wanted a reasonable installation timeline (less than 90 days). The only company that could deliver all of the above was Solarlink. And I found them on Energy Sage.

We used Energysage after trying to get quotes in our local market and not being happy with any of them. We found a fantastic installer on Energysage for the best price. Very useful and informative website.

The consultant at EnergySage was very helpful. She helped explain the technical terms and how the different payment options worked. Seeing the competing estimates supplied in the same format made it easier to pick a solar installer.

I found EnergySage by checking into Solar. I found their page to be helpful and I like that you could look up anything about Solaar and the different Companies and you pick which one you want. I appreciate all the info I received on their page.

Easy to compare quotes. Worked at my own pace and learned a bit more about solar as well. Very pleased with the privacy EnergySage gave me to make a decision.

I found EnergySage very useful to identify 7 potential contractors interested in bidding on my solar project both with and without a battery. They offered a variety of equipment brands for panels, inverters, and batteries. I appreciated being able to pursue the ones that interested me and ignore the others. In the end I selected one with good ratings as well as good brands for in-person negotiation and a contract.

Excellent source of information and a great way to receive quotes from vendors. Appreciate that energysage is the middleman so my Emil and phone # were protected. Appreciate the great assistance in evaluating and selecting a solar installer.

Have been trying to get NuWatt to respond. This has been going on for months Contacted Sam repeatedely about poor response. He has all the details. I contacted him again last week and no response from him. I have waisted far too much time begging NuWatt and energy Sage to just acknowledge my emails and calls let alone get a proposal.

I was at first confused about what Energy Sage was. Once I realized it was kind of like a broker, matching customers with providers, I expected it to be an automated, mechanical formula, and I was skeptical of getting much value from it. Energy Sage far exceeded my admittedly low expectations. They were personal, getting on the phone with me frequently and showing interest in my individual project. They were professional, responding quickly with deep knowledge of the business. Most importantly, they were highly effective. The vetting they do before admitting a company to their listing is thorough and valuable. They way they line up companies for direct side-by-side comparisons is fantastic. The guidance they provide through a confusing process is invaluable. The only negative, if you can call it that, is that they are better suited for customers who have already decided they are definitely going solar. The vetting process they do with customers might not be worth it, if you're really on the fence still. But, if you've decided you want solar, START with Energy Sage. It's like having a professional consultant for free.

The information about solar was invaluable for me because I didn't know much about it and I wasn't going to buy until I did. They brought the Solar companies to me, I didn't have to go to them. I received about 5 or 6 bids that represented what I was looking for and needing.

I liked the experience this go-round, putting on my second set of panels. I don't think you can get lower prices elsewhere. Has anyone found that? John Ackerly

Great way to get multiple quotes all in one place with a clear and concise way to compare the quotes side by side!

EnergySage was super helpful in both researching the equipment and options in installing solar on our house. The bid process was also great in terms of quickly soliciting a number of bids, providing a very thorough side-by-side comparison of all the bids, and doing so in a calmer way than the barrage of cold-calls solicited by other home improvement aggregators (you can choose whether or not to give out your phone #/email, or just coordinate through energysage directly. Once we were ready to select our installer, clicking the button auto-informed the other bidders that they weren't chosen.

Outstanding resource for the novice solar customer. Took us a couple of months to explore the quote (that we got almost immediately) and without any pressure, we were able to learn, explore and develop the confidence to make our choice to move forward. We highly recommend EnergySage. Thank you!
