“The education resources and the blind bid process made selecting a Solar contractor a very smooth process. It would be nice if there was a way to add contractors to bid that are outside the Energy Sage contractor pool.”

“Energy Sage was very helpful for gathering information, collecting and comparing bids. They also have a rating system for contractors with stars ratings and reviews. You can also communicate directly with Energy Sage reps and contractors with the messaging service on their site. And the quotes were very competitive.”

“We received 3 solar quotes within 2 days. We were able to contact the companies for clarifications. We were able to look up reviews of each company and find out how far away they were or how local they were. We went with a local company with great reviews. Energy Sage really made our solar search very easy and productive”

“I went into using EnergySage with very little expectations. I was pleasantly surprised when the site did exactly what they promised, got me the best quotes and provided a barrier between the contractors and me, avoiding the annoying sales pitches, emails and phone calls. I ended up selecting a company who provided a quote through EnergySage and would highly recommend using them if you’re seeking quotes for solar installation.”

“I am very glad I heard about Energy Sage. I and my husband wanted to check out solar panels but when we tried, we got hounded by solar companies. With Energy Sage, we got to learn about a range of technology options first. When we decided to go ahead, Energy Sage helped us get 3 offers from companies first vetted as reputable. Our Energy Sage advisor was able to explain the big AND small details about the 3 offers without pushing us to select one. We are in the process of getting the necessary building permits and hope to have the full system installed and operating soon.”

“EnergySage was instrumental in my education about home solar. I knew next to nothing prior to using this resource. “EnergySage was a great way to get the solar system I wanted at the best price while assuring I got a solar contractor that had a good track record of performance and reliability. The side-by-side comparison display of all the bidders was a very useful tool to compare bids and negotiate prices. The privacy elements were also excellent. Bidders only got your phone number or email address when/if I wanted to communicate with them. Highly recommend EnergySage!”

“This site is a MUST place to go, I learned so much about Solar installation programs and products, which was great once I started talking with installer companies, as I could actually understand what they were talking about and know if I was getting a good deal. There was a page on there where I could compare different panels, inverters and batteries so that I could know if one installer was giving me a subpar product at a higher rate than another. Additionally, you can put in some information and get several installers to give you some no-pressure quotes for you to compare. These quotes were below the costs of going with installers that are represented at the "Big Box stores" or the ones that come to your door (I got quotes from everyone). Most of the quotes I got from Energy Sage were on the lower $ side but with similar or superior products and reviews. In the end I didn't go with solar due to my own decisions, but I still felt confident enough to make the right choice would I had moved forward, that is why I am writing this review! Great Job EnergySage!”

“Energy Sage was recommended by Matt Ferrell of the you tube channel "Undecided". I was pretty sure I would not go Solar but decided that if I could get bids without all the solicitations and phone calls I should check it out. The experience was great. I received five bids. I researched the products that were bid and researched the five companies. One company ( Affordable Solar Roof and Air, LLC of Clearwater, Florida) met my stringent requirements. We scheduled a zoom meeting, met for an hour on the computer, and I decided to go ahead. Could not be happier with the experience. My neighbor got taken advantage of by a door to door solicitor and paid $10,000 more than I did for a similar size system. Thank you Energy Sage.”
