“Pleased with our experience. We received multiple, competitive quotes through the EnergySage platform, and after we made our selection, the process continued to go smoothly with periodic updates provided through completion. We worked with Nicole at EnergySage, and all of our questions were answered quickly. The installation went without a hitch, and we've been operational for about 3 months and so far, so good. “Nothing but praise for EneregySage. They offer information, ratings of equipment and contractors, and a vetting process that is very helpful. Our local utility, Puget Sound Electric, offered only a list of recommended contractors. EnergySage's resources and help, along with MANY YouTube videos, helped me to determine my needs, the appropriate equipment and configuration, before dealing with contractors. It's worth noting that contractors aren't a reliable source of information. One person told me that I could integrate my 110-vac generator with the proposed system. After studying the manuals for the proposed equipment, I determined that he was wrong, as he later acknowledged. Solar inverters produce 240-vac. I ended up purchasing a new generator. In my selected system, I will be able to use the new generator to charge the batteries, in the event of a prolonged grid failure, with insufficient sunlight to power the house. This is far better than a system where the generator could not charge the batteries, but must be used to power the house directly.”

“The EnergySage website was very helpful in determining which solar solution I would pick. On the website I was able to review several quotes and review competing qualities. I would not have wanted to do all of that via the phone and trying to keep track of all the critical factors. It made my process clearer and as a result able to select the best offering for my requirements. I would recommend anyone venturing into the solar purchase process to use EnergySage.”

“The website was very helpful in organizing quality and costs from the top three proposals. Liked that contractors had to communicate through Energy Sage until we wanted to talk or schedule visits. Amazed that all three contractors could visit our home with 1-2 days' notice. Finally, it was easy to ask for brief phone calls with Peter of the Sage staff, who was knowledgable, experienced, and gave excellent advice.”

“My neighbor told me to use Energy Sage to find solar quotes quickly (only had 3 weeks until the California net metering deadline). I got over 10 quotes very quickly and all of them were comprehensive. The material was presented on the website clearly and identically across all the quotes, along with all the customer reviews, which made choosing the right company much much easier than me trying to do the work myself. “A great resource to get educated on how to evaluate solar installation companies. They do a great job of standardizing the information. A lot of installers try to present solar panels as a commodity, but they are not. The site does a good job of explaining what to look for in a panel and evaluating them. I have recommended to the site to many people as an excellent resource to make a quick and confident decision on moving forward with solar panels.”
