“I found the EnergySage portal to be extremely helpful both for research and for obtaining quotes from qualified providers. I particularly appreciated the detailed specs and ratings of panels & inverters, and of solar system installers. I also had a couple of calls with EnergySage Advisors, and they were also very helpful.”

“EnergySage was very helpful comparing quotes for my solar cell project. But I think when you pick a contractor you should make sure you do not pay all the money at the completion of installation, and withhold as much as 25% to be paid after all the inspections are passed and you are in the electric company's queue to have your new meter installed.”

“Got lots of quotes very quickly. Good info in all the quotes. One installer was clearly a stand-out in terms of actually reading and quoting what I wanted. They were by far not the cheapest, but I wasn't looking for the low bidder either.”

“I found EnergySage to be an invaluable help in researching vetted solar companies in my area, their quotes for the number of solar panels, each company's recommended solar panels, inverters, total cost, price/watt, and more. To be able to compare each company's products side by side was an incredible help. In this comparison, you could click on each company's product to find out the specs. about it. You even get a representative from EnergySage assigned to you who I found to be very knowledgeable and helpful. Thanks to EnergySage I feel very confident in the company I selected to install a solar system on my house.”

“Never, ever use Homeadvisor, I got sooo much spam after trying to get some HVAC help through them. EnergySage on the other hand had no spam, everything went through their messaging system until I was ready to talk to the company I chose.”

“EnergySage was a great resource for gathering multiple quotes from different solar providers in my area and had some great resources about adding solar panels. The intake system was easy to use to add your information to figure out what type of solar system you would need to offset the electric cost. The only downfall of the system is some of the solar companies just give you a generic quote with way too many panels. Pretty straightforward platform to help with getting multiple quotes to compare panels and installers. EnergySage did help me keep all the quotes and next steps organized within there plateform.”

“EnergySage made it easy to get 5 quotes and choose without the normal hassle of receiving intrusive calls/emails from the vendors. Much easier than contacting separate companies and very easy to compare the similarities and differences from each. Wish each type contracted job had a similar tool.”

“Energy Sage gave me a variety of options to choose from. I was hesitant to get on board until a door to door solar company showed up. They surveyed the install and gave me a price $5,000 higher than any from EnergySage. After reviewing my options I choose EnergyOne. The first thing they needed was for me to survey the job for them. Wasn't too happy to have to go back up in the attic to measure the rafters.”

“I found EnergySage after a salesperson knocked on our door and sparked our interest in solar. The company that salesperson represented was pushing a PPA, which we realized was not a good deal. But by using EnergySage we learned much more about the solar purchase and installation process. We reviewed quotes from seven local installers and spoke to three of them. An EnergySage representative answered some questions we had an information on their website provided a lot of guidance. Ultimately we selected a company we found on EnergySage and installation is tomorrow.”
