“The pricing is ridiculously expensive for the feature set available to a user. At one point this was probably a value, but now there are competitors that offer a larger feature set for less. I'll be switching soon. The only reason I re-upped for a quarter is because I needed a resume in a pinch.”

“Limited changes/customizations you can do. Also an updated resume is something you need once in a while - why a subscription model? It is a total rip off paying as much as for Netflix for example...”

“I am really disappointed with the platform for several reasons. First, the fields in the template do not have enough flexibility thus I have to "play" with wording and spacing so that I fit the information the way that I want. Second, there is no option to export my Resume as a Word file and there are may employers (especially in the UK) who require CVs in Word format. Third, the Cover letter templates are broken, especially when text is copy-pasted in them as they do not give room for editing. Fourth, there are not sections that allow for greater flexibility and I have to artificially insert spacing, text, etc. The variety of templates is more than mediocre. Last but not least, the service is pricey - I am still using it because if I start the process again, with a different template, I will have to spend another 10-20 hours for arranging my information anew. I would be grateful if I receive customer support from EnhanCV as I am desperately trying to find a new job and all the "bugs" in the system mean additional stress for me. Regards, Dilyana”

“If trying to find a job isn't hard enough, being charged monthly just to make tiny edits on resumes you have already created seems like a bit much.”

“Even if I paid for Pro, I could not edit my resume. What should it be done? I have just asked for refund as I cannot do anything on my CV.”

“Too expensive and the way you limit the basic version is pretty disappointing. I’ve used EnhanceCV since it’s creation (I’m Bulgarian), not sure if the company was sold or just focused extensively on profit, but the services changed massively.”

“I think there are too few customization options (e.g. background, color and design) - I can't even change customize the colors of the texts in my CV except for the few options allowed, and the backgrounds aren't good enough from a aesthetics perspective - I can't even replicate the good designs in the sample CVs of Marissa Mayer, Elon Musk, etc.”

“As a customer who recently subscribed, Enhancv has been excellent nevertheless like all work in progress, there are some shortcomings which should be attended to. They are the following: More variety of templates needed Live feedback needs to be more efficient Data should be importable from LinkedIn There should be provisions for writing in other languages that English . There should also be suggestions when making cover letter and not just on CVs Thanks .”

“The idea is not bad but is too limited. 4 templates and poor customization possible. this is nothing but a premade template with some suggestions. Honestly, I wouldn't buy it again. Also, review the questions asked here below. Are about deliveries.... completely unrelated.”

“At higher levels the enhancv templates are too “kitschy” and not relevant. I had to scrap the resume I did using enhancv and will need to start from scratch. The pdf I saved also went back to the enhancv site.”

“I am shocked at the lack of functionality. I just need to be able to do basic things like make the font smaller. I will definitely not be renewing after my first month.”
