“The service is pricey and does not deliver as advertised. System is terrible at job alignments and presents your resume as truly being built by AI.”

“Complete garbage. 225 applications, I have sent resume after resume after resume, and has resulted in nothing. Editing is difficult, especially adding or deleting bullet point. You cant mass delete by holding down back space. you can only delete the majority of sentence, but not the whole sentence. The AI generated stuff it comes up with is not better than chatgpt. READ THE REFUND POLICY CAREFULLY. It is at their discretion whether or not you get a refund of any kind. Honestly, stay away, these feels cheap and quickly built and not ready for primtime.”

“I thought it was the greatest tool when I started using it. It did a great job of organizing my resumes and where I was applying to. The ATS is completely useless, the ai does such a poor job of determining what keywords are truly valuable. I ended up just using ChatGPT and resorted to using just using this as a resume builder and manager. Then I find out in horror that the last 3 months I had been submitting resumes using their ATS friendly template and my info was getting all messed up. I sent out about 50 very well targeted resumes and got 1 call back. I switched to the most basic template they had and it is still messed up. They use needless images for things like the dates. It's a great tool if you are not submitting resumes online but should be avoided otherwise.”

“He advertised a "Free AI Resume Builder," but after creating my CV, I discovered that downloading it required payment. This misleading practice wasted my time. Google, please take action against such deceptive websites”

Hi there, thank you for the feedback. Did you check the message when you try to download your resume? It tells you what you need to do to download your document for free. Downloading a resume created with our free features is free, it's the paid features that are locked in the free version. Once you remove the paid elements you can download your document for free.

Hi there and thank you for trying Enhancv! I'm sorry you were experiencing the toughness of the current job market. I hope you were able to get a job at the end. The reasons why some people are getting their foot in the door and why others aren't, are so vastly complex that we can't be certain about all the factors that influence this. When it comes to ATS systems, our research actually shows that ATS "rejections" are mostly a myth. What is more, in situations with too many applicants for a job, recruiters might stop looking at additional resumes once they've found enough qualified candidates for their initial short list, leading to the rejection of all of the rest. Many job listings nowadays attract more than 1000 applicants, so this is becoming more and more common.

“Hate the tool. You can't add an image. For spell check which is free everywhere, you need to upgrade the tool. And moreover the quarterly billing is ridiculous. Per month amount written in a big font size which catches human eye and they mentioned the quarterly billing below which I didn't even need it. Now. I had to pay for 3 months without even using the tool. This absolute scam for making money.”

“I Was almost going to buy the paid plan. Being an analyst and experience in marketing saved me. Uploaded my cv. Then ATS score was 35. Then created with enhance and downloaded the pdf. Converted it to Word and kept one file with water mark and one without. Then ran two tests.. Wow.. the one with water mark had 99% ATS score and the same one without had 27%. :D”

We don't parse images on uploads, so my best guess you compared a pdf upload of the uploaded resume (which has quite a bit of structured data, hence the high parse rate) to a word version (which apparently did not parse that well). We do not offer word exports natively, so perhaps the conversion from pdf also did not help. -- Bobby, Growth @ Enhancv

“Landed 2 interviews in 6 months using tools despite 500-750 job applications. Tools to spell check are largely unusable and often leave spelling/grammatical errors in experience after making slight changes to resume.”

“Waste of time. It was fun to use, however, the "free" plan isn't free. It is free to use online. Then once you have wasted your time using the tools and go to download your shiny new CV, they tell you you need to upgrade. In addition, it is quite annoying to edit text as it keep advertising it for features with pop-ups that block you from editing your CV sections, telling you you need to correct something, but it won't tell you what unless you pay.”

We've seen some users create multiple accounts and we are usually able to locate their document in an account they didn't realise they also had with us.

“The concept was great allowing you to choose from many great templates. It was not very easy to edit due to the different "boxes". I think the WORST part of all is after spending hours working on a CV and you reach the part where you need to download that's when you're told that 1: only some premium features can be downloaded and 2: the "free" version has the logo. Worst experience ever and grand waste of time.”
