“Creation of Resume was easier, but if we want to alter any sections or copy any section to another resume the provision is not given. Also Font and color formating can be made more flexible and easier section wise. Bullet designs in each section should be given in settings icon like other menu If these improvements are handled the rating can be 4.5. Also download provision should be for pdf and word format as well”

“The templates and LinkedIn import function was super helpful and saved me a lot of time. However, there were a lot of limitations to customizing some basic elements of the text (for example, many sections did not allow for bullets, or customizing spacing between bullets).”

Hi Jennifer, thank you for taking the time to review our tool. Email addresses come in all shapes and sizes, domain names can be anything their owners decide them to be. “Nice tools to use, but not immediately intuitive to use. Not sure that the price for the product is worth it. They probably need a different billing model for those needing a simple in and out product versus a months long subscription.”

You then need to follow best practices for the specific sections relevant to your experience. You can do that by following the recommendations from our blog or using the AI powered tools in the editor. “The formatting is good, the web tool is pretty good. The AI suggestions are usually a bit rubbish and I've spent more time undoing them than anything else. The fact that I can't download it as a .docx so I can edit it outside their tool is really frustrating. The pricing is high enough at $40/month that I should be able to pull it off their platform and use it as a base for the future. I will pay for one month and then get out, potentially to a competitor.”

Hi there, thank you so much for sharing your comments. Enhancv is a platform that relies heavily on automations and AI powered tools to assist in your resume creation. The whole idea of the Enhancv platform is that you edit your content in the tool, we help you with edits and design, and once you're happy with the result, you export it to PDF ready to be used in a job application. Our PDFs are not optimised to be edited using third party tools. The ~$40 / month price that you saw is in Australian dollars.

Hi there, I'm sorry you weren't able to locate the option to import your full experience data. The best way for you to do that would be to choose "work with original content" and not accept the AI improvements when you're importing. You can also try and unhide the Description and Bullets fields in the resume you already imported. These might be hidden by the AI improvements. Hi Oliver, I'm sorry you weren't able to locate the toggle to remove our logo. It is in the sidebar menu – Branding. Once you switch it off, our logo is gone from your document. Hi Murat, I believe you might be using the app in German and not in English. The ATS Checker is currently only available in the English version of the user interface. Please switch to English and you should be able to locate it in the left sidebar. “It hasn't been overly helpful yet. The recommendations it has made make a minimal impact on my resume overall. I don't love the templates offered - many are 2 column which I've heard ATS has a hard time parsing.”

Hi there and thank you for trying Enhancv! The reasons why some people are getting their foot in the door and why others aren't, are so vastly complex that we can't be certain about all the factors that influence this. When it comes to ATS systems, our research actually shows that ATS "rejections" are mostly a myth. What is more, in situations with too many applicants for a job, recruiters might stop looking at additional resumes once they've found enough qualified candidates for their initial short list, leading to the rejection of all of the rest. Many job listings nowadays attract more than 1000 applicants, so this is becoming more and more common.

“For a paid service, I would expect almost perfect resume output. However, that was not my experience with this. Not only was my contact information all messed up, the dates in my experiences had a lot of errors I had to manually correct. It was quick and the format was great though, so I still have it 3 stars.”

“Hi Alex, I was looking for AI powered CV tool and I was impressed by drag and drop capabilities you offer and decided to try but after spending some time I feel this still need further improvements like Chat GPT should be enabled for others sections as well like experience etc. Currently it generates summary based on job title.now I have to copy paste copilot response from word to EnhanceCV. Add more icons such as LinkedIn, trailhead (for Salesforce Developer ) Need more templates tailored for job titles Need to add more keywords in library so that does not catches in spell check. Liked the ability to show company logo. Need AI suggestions for suggested improvements Will share more along journey.”
