“Is possible enter the age in the resume??”

“Really nice resume builder, clean format and great suggestions. But I’m disappointed that I cannot have more control over some of the small details of the layout or page size. For example, as far as I can tell it is impossible the get the exact same format that was used in your primary example - the CV of Melissa Meyer of Yahoo!. I challenge you to build an exact copy using your current site. Otherwise very nice.”

“Really great product thus far, but I feel that there should be some sort of editable export option. Right now it seems that only PDF is supported, which means to make any edits a few months from now will require still having a subscription to Enhancv. I feel like Enhancv could offer more features and still provide an export file that is editable in something like Microsoft Word or Google Docs.”

“Love it the template design and layout is great. The prompting for sections to include and suggested edits are helpful. Would like to be able to have more flexibility for some sections like job title. - I wanted to show that I had progression of roles within the same company without the repetition of listing them separately.”

“Nice fresh look. Good stock sections. Needs greater flexibility to arrange sections and layouts if one wants to deviate from the standard. For instance, I found the cover letter template too restrictive, and in actual fact used the Resume template to prepare my Cover Letters so I could include the graphics - even so, it didn't allow using a section more than once in any instance - so my CL spills onto a second page.”

“I haven't updated my CV in years, this has been a very helpful tool. Additional editing tools to help me keep my CV to one page would be welcome - the ability to adjust font sizing, etc. Otherwise, making it exportable as a Word document would help.”

“Enhancv is a great platform, which is certain to help people. It works by letting one introduce themselves to potential employers in the best possible light. What I liked best were the user-friendliness and intuitive design. However, I did not appreciate the lack of some basic features for text formatting. For instance, there was no way to justify the text of my cover letter, which looks sloppy and amateur. Overall, I am satisfied with Enhancv and I find it quite useful.”

“I think Enhancecv is great for creating a CV that stand out from the pack - to the extent that is possible in this world of automated resume parsing. But, in companies that are below "enterprise" size where someone may actually see your resume, I think it a pretty awesome tool. Just - please - remove the requirement for dates in blocks like education.”

Hi there, Thanks for the feedback! In order to remove the dates in education (or any other section), click on any text from the education item, then in the popover / bar that appears over, click on the gear icon, and there you will find the option to show & hide the period. Hope that helps! We are also tirelessly working on improving parsability and machine readibility, and we'll try to be more transparent there as to what measures we are taking. In the meantime, an interesting read by a competitor which refutes this common misconception about parsing and big companies.
