“My initial order experience was simple, it was easy to find the part I wanted and delivery was quick. When my package arrived, the wrong part had been shipped. I sent an email to customer service and quickly received a message apologizing for the error, confirming shipment of the correct part and letting me know there was no need to return the incorrect part that had benen delivered. A nice touch from a pure convenience perspective. Some may find the 5 star rating in this case to be odd so allow me to explain. Mistakes happen. Often. I make them. Everyone makes them. Owning and rectifying mistakes is the difference between those who deserve five stars and those who don't. Espresso Parts had what I needed at a fair price, they delivered quickly but a mistake was made. The mistake was fixed, quickly. 5 star service isn't about being perfect, it's about being real. My favorite part of this experience, and another reason for the five star review is the discount code 'oops' used on the shipping notice when the shipping error was corrected. That made me smile. I enjoy smiling. So should you.”

“My Vesuvius V10 (2nd Gen) ran strong for almost 5 years but about 3-6 months ago it started to miss a beat when brewing. The pump would start but there would be no water coming out the portafilter. First it happened sporadically, then it started to happen almost exclusively. After much troubleshooting and research, I figured out the issue was with the upper drain valve. It's not until you put the old and the new side by side that you realize how shaved down (and around, almost perfectly) the old one was. Espresso Parts shipped out the replacement part (a generic E61 part intended for an ECM machine) within a day and it got to me (on the other side of the country) within a couple of days. I replaced it and my machine functions as new again. I can't wait to replace the drain valve and other assorted parts, just to get ahead of more issues from similarly aged and worn out parts. I'm attaching before/after photos of the part, both free-standing and installed.”
