“Overall, the digitized 35mm slides came out pretty good. There did seem to be a problem with some darker slides. On a home-quality flatbed scanner, I was able to get much brighter results for those dark slides. See attached scans - same photo, though one is reversed. Berkeley-009 is my scan, the other is the Everpresent scan.
I thought of sending some back, but it would have taken more time than I had to separate out and somehow find a way to keep track of those slides that come from different boxes or carousels.
The processing took longer than expected, and the progress reports were very vague.”
