“AVOID THIS DODGY BUSINESS! This business is a Kafkaesque nightmare! Especially if you live in the NYC or Boston area, you can get these kinds of services for a fraction of what they charge and without being subjected to harassment for con artists.
After dropping off my materials to be scanned I waited ten days for an email telling me to call them for a consultation. Upon calling I was directed to a call center where they awkwardly read from a script and then put me on hold for an available consultant, before coming back to tell me that none were available and I should call back. The second attempt was the same only this time they took my phone number and said they would call back. Unfortunately I missed the call, I called them right back was put on hold again and was told no consultation was available but to try again tomorrow. Frustrated I emailed them and asked if we could do the transaction by email, the next day I received a call from a “consultant” who was actually just a sales person that didn’t understand the order and wouldn’t listen as I tried to explain what I needed, as she kept interrupting me with upsell pitches. When I finally got through to her that what I wanted was simply two 600ppi scans, she put me on hold presumably to adjust the quote, then we were disconnected. The next morning I woke up to an email from her with an invoice containing services I hadn’t asked for totaling 118.70 and a turn around time of 3 to four weeks. I quickly emailed her back and told her that I simply wanted two photographs scanned and didn’t need all the other things and that if she would adjust the invoice to reflect only the services I needed I would pay it asap. Later that evening she called and left a message saying that the invoice was for exactly what I requested and I should pay it . The I sent her the following email:”Good morning, as I mentioned in our initial phone conversation as well as my follow up email I did not ask for CD/DVD Transfer! (21.99). I also do not need two USB drives (19.99 each)
So if you will kindly remove those charges and send me an updated invoice I will promptly send you the payment.
Thank you.”
After another email I sent them payment of 75.47 for 2 hi reps scans, this included a 50$ service fee!? BUT WAIT IT GETS WORSE, I received no confirmation for payment, instead after another two days I received another email asking me for payment. I promptly emailed them back explaining I had paid and after another day I received another email saying they would check into it in two to three business days. This is where we are now, so go to the ups store or anywhere else but unless you want to get robbed and frustrated beyond avoid this mess of a company!”

“My husband wanted to surprise me with a old 16mm reel we found from 1956...The 1st email said that the reel was 50 ft. we were trilled that there was going to contain a lot. He ordered 2 dvd's and a thumb .... When we received the order we were shocked. The dvd had 2 minutes and 38 seconds on it. John paid 169.00. Yes the it was nice and clear, but the cost was Way too much for this little bit. Kinda think it's a Rip Off for that little bit

“I had intended to have you convert nearly 200 legacy photos into a digital format. We were preparing for a Celebration event remembering my late wifes life. I sent you a test collection of about 8 photos as a test. You did a good job converting the photos to a memory stick. And you deleiverd the product shortly after the celebration. About a month too late.

“Three days ago I left a voicemail and then followed it up by putting in a request through the website to get started on digitizing a large number of 35mm negatives I have, close to three thousand strips in total. No call back from Ever Present. No email response from Ever Present.”
“I expected better. There was dead air and static in most, if not all, of the dvds. I was under the impression that the static/dead air would be removed making better transitions between different recordings. This was not the case. I spent hours removing the static, adding transitions. After doing so, it only ended up being 3 dvds total and Ever Present charged me for 11 dvds. Such a scam. I waited a month and paid $400 for Everpresent to literally just transfer the recordings to 2 thumbdrives and 11 dvds. The process and expectations could have been explained in a lot more detail. The representative taking the order and the person transferring the data should get on the same page.”

I did my phone consult, was told to drop off my content on a Saturday. Upon arrival, at a third party drop off location, the employee didn't even know how to turn on the computer to begin my transaction. I was then told pick-ups are on Friday, now my media has to sit in the store for an additional week before pick-up. Then upon pick-up, it would be an additional 7-10 days before I heard back from the company (never disclosed during my consult).
Once I did receive a phone call, I was told I couldn't receive the services I wanted which I made clear during my original phone consult. Then, I finally am notified they are working on my media, I was told they can't find my original vhs tape which I provided them my only copy! They were like, we probably have it...just can't tell for a couple of days. What?! You don't know if you have my only copy! UNACCAPTABLE! Then, I receive my media back in the mail. I do not have the multiple thumb drives I requested, I am missing a video outright. And now, I am uploading this to my computer and part of my video is missing altogether!!!!!!!! What in the actual heck is going on?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am livid. This company has wasted my time, my money, and caused a lot of stress that was completely avoidable. ZERO stars...EPIC FAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was told they would be in touch...they have outright ghosted me.”
“Unfortunately this was a very bad experience. Very difficult to speak to anyone at company. I tried via phone and e mail with no response. I paid over $2000. 00 for this large job of my family’s pictures and films and the original estimate was $1200.00. It appeared that the quality was not enhanced at all, the audio was missing in large areas (that was good on original)and so many doubles. The labeling was not even close to what was on tape.They copied 20 tapes that were old tv shows that my kids had taped over family film's. That’s when it was evident that absolutely no one was paying attention. I had told the company representatives originally that over taping might have happened and I was told if this was noted I would receive a call to discuss.
I dropped the job off in October and was told it would be complete by Christmas. When it came to the week before Christmas and I still did not hear back from them I really pressed for at least a call back regarding status. Within a few days the job suddenly was complete without anyone again calling me back. It seemed to us that the job was forgotten and suddenly just done without any one even looking at what they were copying and absolutely no effort.
This was something that I had been looking to do for years and finally decided to go with this company obviously I chose wrong. I have contacted them again and asked to speak to someone and have not heard back at all.
Horrible company I suspect this is just done by AI with no human involvement.

“Had, issues with girl on phone, pushing me to do things over phone when she called. I said I will do it online, but had to tell her more than once. My fault tape had master written on it, emailed before project was done in very beginning and was told that is what will be written on it. Took final payment out and no one ever told me was done until I followed up 3 weeks later . First project was amazing, 2nd will make me not come back”

“The most expensive service around. I was quoted a little $400 and was charged over $600 for 12 small DVD's to a UBS and that's with a 20% discount. You do not even get an individual UBS per tape they put everything on one.”
