Hi Michael, At EverPresent we pride ourselves on having options for folks in the Northeast by visiting local secure drop-off points like the one you visited in NY. Our lab is headquartered in Newton, Ma and we handle our work 100% locally here. We hope you enjoyed the video project that we completed for you!
“Absolutely terrible. I'm still waiting for resolution. Judging from what Connor has said, they digitized the wrong tape (an "unlabelled tape" is Connor's reference, whereas my tape clearly is labelled in Spanish), and I'm waiting to see whether they also digitized my tape and can send me the file, or whether mine simply got forgotten. Also, I've asked for my email thread to be sent to the Niloffs, and asked Connor to confirm that he's done that, but I haven't heard back from him on that.
I got a nice standard thank you email from the Niloffs for my "family" having entrusted you all with my material. However, the tape I sent is not a family home video. It's a professional tape from my initial work in Chile (which, by the way, later led to the Emmy nomination for my TV series there).
It'd be great at his point to get a serious professional response from someone.”
Mr. Keller, we assure you that our client handling of materials & safety is our #1 priority. We will be reaching out shortly to help you resolve any outstanding issues with your digital link.
“Horrible experiences. The order of the slides was terribly mixed up even though slides were numbered. Digital files in stick were unreadable. Will never go there again.”
We recently received your feedback about your finished project. We are sorry to hear that your audio results were not as you expected! We ultimately want you to be happy with EverPresent and the service that we provide. It sounds like your consultant did reach out to ask about additional audio editing services, as the audio reels were degraded over time and could some additional enhancement. We have a member of our client services team reach out to talk about your options!
“I don’t understand why I am getting mail and emails from your company when as if you helped me with my project (which you did not).
I never got an explanation for why you could not complete the work.”
Hi Nina, thanks for your feedback! It seems that you had a rare format audio reel that we do not have the equipment to transfer. We did not charge you for this project but we a member of Client Service Team should have informed you that we could not process this. We will be sure to address this with our Quality Control department. Thank you and we hope to work with you again on another project!
“I had 8mm films digitized a couple of years ago from a firm in NY. I actually had you digitize one of the same films so I could see the difference before I used you to do the bulk of the work I need done. The difference was unbelievable - The digitized film you sent me was horrible - the colors were bad, the speed was wrong - it wasn't worth watching.”
“I chose this company because the prices were good (or so I thought) and they seemed to do a good job. I brought my 55 pictures to my local drop off and waited for the phone call that Everpresent received them. The phone call came with the tech telling me I had many more pictures than I sent and quoting me over $200 for the scanning and everything that would need to be done to bring my pictures back to like new. When I told her there were only 55 pictures and most of them just needed to be scanned, she insisted I was wrong. Only 15 needed any special attention. After a few minutes of going back and forth, she said she would check. Came back to tell me yes there was a lot less then she stated but more than the 55 pictures I counted (??) Now she quotes me $140. I was going to ask for my pictures back. She tells me it could be less and the $140 was just an estimate. I gave her the $70 deposit required thinking that it would be corrected later on. It was not. Not only was I charged the full $140 but they did nothing to improve the photos given to them. Their site shows a cracked, faded picture brought back to like new. That is what I was expecting to receive. The scan looked the same as the picture with no improvement. I would not recommend this service. I did not contact them after I received my pictures back. I just don't want anything to do with them again.”
Hello Carla
Thanks for your feedback - it looks like your original recording was created as a VHS slideshow from the 1990s. The effects that you are seeing on the recording were intentional design elements that your videographer used during the recording. A senior member of our Client Success Department will reach out to see if there is any other wedding footage you may have or talk about our editing services. Have a great holiday and we hope to work with you again on another project.
“Sirs:
I have a HP Scan G4050 and three very dark slides. Although I received "boilerplate" emails about the marvelous work you were doing (I think these were just marketing items and had little truth in the 'personal work' on my slides my slides were sent with expectations of a usuable presentation material.
When I received the finger disc group of slides it is difficult to see a major upgrade of my dark slides. The copies on my G4050 frankly were better but I sent them to you hoping for improvement that was not as good as my armature attempt. I planned on using the images for a medical presentation of my early cases and your work product was not acceptable. Frankly money spent was wasted and I received nothing in return put propaganda about how good your firm was! My investment with your firm was wasted.”
Hi Charles,
Thanks for your feedback, at EverPresent we strive for good quality and customer service. It seems that your images were underexposed and perhaps you could benefit from our image enhancement service where we can digitally retouch your three slides for better improvement. We will reach out to you personally so that you can learn more about this advanced retouching program. Best, The EverPresent Team
“You guys suck - I sent the same to an online service and they sent back complete copy not partial like EVERPRESENT and better quality for less price. Anything else you'd like to hear ?”
Thanks for your feedback Deep. At EverPresent we stand by the quality of our work. If your expectations were not met with the digitization of your (1) 8mm tape - I will reach out to you personally to see if we can help with address your concern through our Order Evaluation Process. The EverPresent Management Team
“When I spoke to the representative and told him what the problem was to recover some video they were not able to do it I can see the video when I fast forward through the camera but they could not recover it”
Hi Michael,
Thanks for your feedback. At EverPresent we stand by the quality of our work and the results are only as good as the original media that can work with. I reviewed your order and it looks like there was significant digital corruption from the original 8mm video tape and that was notated on your Quality Report. I will reach out to you personally to see if we can help with another project where the originals might be better quality. Best, The EverPresent Management Team
“Well, I spent $95 to have 2 VHS full of crappy quality/unwatchable reruns and TV movies put on a flash drive. (Before you tell me I should have checked what was on them, I was not aware they couldn’t tell me what was on them until after the work was complete.) It was a huge waste of money and hard to believe they didn’t have a VHS player to put them in to check for me. The only way this would have been a good experience is if I had that $95!!!!! back in my pocket.”
